I can confirm that my latest Paizo package (Dark Archive) also came directly without a new invoice for taxes.

I'll wait for the next shipment to be sure, but the issue seems to be resolved for The Netherlands.

Time to gather all those old receipts and drop them off at Customer Service.

Thanks for you and your team's efforts, Brian.

My watch continues, but I got notice about the PFS/SFS scenarios, hah.

Same! That threw me for a loop - from the rising anticipation, to the imaginary but clearly heard sad trombone.

Hello, Senonu!

I looked into a few of your recent orders, and we appeared to be charging the (lower) Netherlands rate of 9% for both our books and the shipping and handling on said books. Additionally, I checked the tax classification (used to determine the tax rate) for the products we shipped you, and they appear to be correctly set. If you feel we have overcharged you VAT on an order, please email customer.service@paizo.com with the order information in question so they can look into it further

Thanks for your reply! I stand corrected - the order still lists

but the actual VAT is 9% of the cost.

Here's to getting this fixed before the Dark Archive special edition ships out!

@Brian: As one software architect to another, thank you for doing this. This clearly isn't part of your job, so I'm stoked that you're picking it up.

With some guilt, I'd like to add a little something extra: you guys have the wrong tax rate for the Netherlands (and likely other EU countries as well), as books tends to fall under a lower tax percentage. It tends to be a significant difference.

I've gotten in touch with our local (Dutch) mailprovider, and provided Paizo with a direct contact email to the team responsible for assisting with IOSS on the fifth of May - aside from the automated response e-mail, I haven't heard back from customer support either.

I also believe the VAT rated charged is wrong: Paizo charges 21%, but books qualify for a lower 9% rate, at least in the Netherlands: https://business.gov.nl/regulation/vat-rates-exemptions/

I'll probably email them too. I could have been reading it a week ago. It's the only reason I have subscriptions and we had to wait through the delay too.

I've just had it added to my account after dropping a mail to customerservice, so likely the smart thing to do!

Seems so - I've got the special edition subscription and it's also missing for me. I did get the Punks in a Powderkeg that was also part of said order, so it's not the entire order falling over.

I've dropped customer service an E-mail.

I'm in Europe and currently have UPS Priority listed on the order - first time I've seen it use UPS and costs seem fairly high. Could you guys check my order as well? Thanks!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but what's the lead time for the prefab to pop up on roll20? I have a bunch of players ready to go after the PDF came in yesterday.
I believe our Director of Licensing said they are working on this AP, targeting a go-live on the street date of Jan 27. But all our VTT partners do what they think is bast and take as long as they need to. Those include Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Astral Tabletop, and D20Pro.

Thanks for your answer! Looking forward to it.

Hey Logan,

Thank you for your response and quick actions. I really appreciate how you folks handle your customer care.

I'll keep an eye on the site today and check back in if the order processed properly.

Hi,

I have two questions:

1. I've yet to receive Order 36267858 - all previous orders have come in properly. Do you guys have any more insights?

2. I have the Pathfinder Adventure Path subscription, but don't see any orders for the first part of Abomination Vaults - neither in my Upcoming orders under subscriptions, or in my order history. Could you check if that processed properly?

Thank you!
