"Pick on someone your own size, you big bully!"
Then Sandi swings her little blade again. attack, pack flanking: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 2 = 22

Sandi's little blade strikes out again at the blue-hatted enemy. attack, flanking: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 2 = 21 damage, sneak attack: 1d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + (3) = 7 If blue falls, Sandi is happy to move forward so that Twitchy can have flanking while attacking green. Otherwise, staying put.

Sandi walks over near the top of the stairs and prepates to strike the bad guys if they move the boxes. hoping Twitchy will join me in that square and we can use pack flanking readied attack, flanking: 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 2 = 17 damage, sneak attack: 1d4 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (6) = 7

Hi, everyone, I'm having a rough time for several reasons right now. For the next few days, it's possible my posts might be really brief, without much character. If this happens, please don't take it amiss; I will return to normal posting as soon as I can.

diplomacy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 uggh, folio reroll
"Surely someone might notice if this place stays open. You wouldn't want people to think you are not doing your job..." Sandi speaks softly and gently to the inspector.

character information:
(GM: I've played this scenario before, but I think only once several years ago.)

Sandi looks at Quesa, a thoughtful look on her rodent face. "I think we want to take as few lives as possible. To defend ourselves or our companions with deadly force is often necessary. To show mercy to our opponents after we win is doing good."

Sandi tries to stabilize the enemies. heal, untrained: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
So Sandi was only able to stabilize one of them.

I'm rolling some stabilize checks so you don't need to wait for me. I will spoiler them so they don't affect others' decisions. stabilize checks: first round, DC 11: 1d20 ⇒ 1 second round, DC 12: 1d20 ⇒ 11 third round, DC 13: 1d20 ⇒ 10 fourth round, DC 14: 1d20 ⇒ 17

rolling an acrobatics check to avoid an AoO if the GM is not convinced by rules presented in discussion; also remove the 1d6 sneak attack die from damage acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 DC is opponents CMD

pg 178 of core rulebook: chance to act (specifically, before your first regular turn in the initiative order), you are flat-footed. surprise round is not a 'regular turn.' edit: I realize this is not completely clear, and if you disagree with that interpretation of 'regular turn' then I will certainly yield to your interpretation as GM. The grey area is why I even brought it up the way I did, rather than assuming it was true. second edit:

I believe that green is still flat footed, because they have not yet taken an action during a normal round, so Sandi is able to move around without an AoO and also gets sneak attack damage. Sandi moves around the nearest enemy and then swipes with her rapier.

So, unless I've missed something: Minions can't use reactions.
RaW I guess you can't use it? Honestly if this comes up I'd probably just let it have the reaction, at least until I find an official ruling on it. It might come up in organized play if people have Age of Ashes credit. |
