It's a shame. But, things happen.
Good luck with your RL.
Lugert - definitely.

"Very interesting!"
"I'd love to go there."

I even spent my crit on this! xD

GM Wicked wrote: The Spellcraft DC to identify the boots was 16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one has made that check.
Samiya Takajitsu wrote: Samiya drinks both antiplague and antitoxin, just in case.

And helps Kandor drag stuff around.
It's sixth post on the last page. I don't know how to make a link from the post.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Haven't I already made a check?
"It is far to the north if I remember correctly." answers Samiya.
She looks at Ameiko.
"But it's been deserted for a long time now. Do you think that legacy is still there?"
Inactive
Samiya quickly hides behind the closest corner until everything calms down. "At least it's hard to set anything on fire where everything is wet and damp."
"It was fun, bu I'd rather not repeat this anytime soon."
Inactive
"Yes. Longshanks don't like this swamp anyway."
Inactive
"What my friend here said." Nods Samiya.
"And why raiding? You could trade, that would much more beneficial. You can get fireworks to celebrate, holy water to use against the skeletons, if the ever appear in the swamp again.
She looks at the rest of the goblins.
"In return, you could sell to villagers spider meat as an exotic dish. I'm sure people would be interested. Goblins also know this swamp better than people of Sandpoint - you could gather herbs and mushrooms for them."
"For now, we can give some fireworks to celebrate right now. And some holy water just in case." Samiya glances an Kandor.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 Well, that's great.
Inactive
Sounds good. Let's wait for the answer from Gutwad, and then I'll try to convince him to trade instead of raiding.
Inactive
People would eat everything, if you call it a delicacy.
The can do gathering. Mushrooms, herbs and stuff.
Inactive
"Yes, we did." nods Samiya.
"Do you remember your part of the deal?"
Inactive
Samiya drinks both antiplague and antitoxin, just in case.
She then identifies the boots, telling everyone about their properties.
spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
And helps Kandor drag stuff around.

"We should've just left. This spider bit me!"
Samiya feels her temperature rising.
"I think it poisoned me!" She exclaims nervously.
So, the symptoms began earlier. It isn't a spider, probably. Was it a rat?
Golgast, I think so, yes. Both spider and amoeba.
Inactive
Inactive
"There is an amoeba in the pool. I think it won't attack us if we stay away from it."
Inactive
"Just a slight headache." Samiya shakes her head. "Nothing serious."
"But it did began when we approached this cave."
She carefully inspects the pool.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 = 22
Kn.Dungeoneering: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Inactive
Samiya winces slightly, and takes a closer look at the crystals. Can they be the cause of this sudden headache?
She also checks if there are any magic in here.
Detect Magic.
Inactive
@GM Wicked I'm fine with both.
@Gôlgast Fast Learner sounds nice. And Grudge Fighter. There are many cool options.
I don't think magical tail is such a good option. It's certainly awesome - many tails are cool - but spells are pretty meh.
Inactive
Yakizushi? =)
We should go to the goblin tribe. They attack again - they regret it. Then we go shopping, talk to Ameiko, read the letter and stuff.
Also, I can use CLW wand, as bard spell list has CLW on it.
And now, with 21 rounds of bardic performance and thunder call it will be fun.
One more thing, I know the fifth level is far away, but. Spellsong to cover my spellcasting with performance, or fox shape to turn myself into the tiny fox?
Inactive
Already 3rd level? That's fast.
So, level up:
+6 HP, +1 BAB, +1 Fort
Bardic Performance: Thunder Call
Spells: cantrip - Ghost Sound, 1st - Vanish
Skills: +1 Acrobatics, +1 Appraise, +1 Bluff, +2 Disguise, +1 Kn.Geography, +1 Kn.Planes, +1 Kn.Religion, +1 Perform (oratory), +1 Spellcraft, +2 Linguistics (Tien, Terran)
Feat: Extra Performance (+6 rounds)
Now, between the four of us, we know Common, Goblin, Orc, Dwarven, Celestial, Sylvan, Elven, Gnome, Aklo, Draconic, Tien, Terran.
I think that's not bad.

"Yes, he must've been their leader, judging by this sword. It's magical, you can shield someone touched by it."
"Hm, what's this?.." Samiya notices a hidden compartment. "There's a letter in here. From or to Brinewall, it seems."
"We can sell these jewels for about four hundred and fifty gold I think."
appraise jewels: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Less than 5 fail - price in 20% range.
spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Kn.Local: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Inactive
With her magic not working, Samiya relies on her crossbow, firing a bolt into the skeleton.
attack: 1d20 ⇒ 5
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
Inactive
Ouch, totally forgot about undead traits.
Inactive
Samiya weaves a spell to distract the skeleton and help her friends.
Daze (DC 15).
Inactive
There's also Kn.Religion. I think any knowledge can tell the most common alignment of a creature.
Inactive
Don't think sweet puppy eyes thing will work now. =) Especially with our police. Well, maybe the sixth attempt will work.
Inactive
Guys, if you have a driver's license, how many attempts did it took for you to get it?
Inactive
Samiya comes closer and begins filling everyone with courage to overcome the enemy.
Inspire Courage. +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.
At the 3rd level I should definitely take Linguistics.
I know some Japanese. Very little.
Inactive
"He will probably rise just like those," Samiya nods at the shattered bones. "When we come near him."
Inactive
"Poor souls. To die in a foreign land and in the swamp."
Samiya shakes her head.
"Let's go forward."
Inactive
"I wonder what they were doing so far from their country?"
K(local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Inactive
Samiya fires a bolt from her crossbow into the skeleton in front of Kandor, trying to hit a it's skull.
1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 2
1d8 ⇒ 8
Inactive
I miss the built-in turn/destroy undead for the cleric.
Inactive
"They are no match for us!"
Samiya steps forward and lifts her torch higher to give some more light.
Inspire Courage. +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls
Inactive
Samiya follows Lugert close enough to get the skeleton into the light of her torch and takes a closer look at the surroundings.
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Inactive
Samiya quickly follows Kandor, anxiously keeping an eye on the spider.
"Ugh, disgusting! How can you eat a spider?"
Inactive
Samiya lights one of her torches, making a few careful steps inside the cave.

GM Wicked wrote: Speaking of, am I right in guessing this group favors combat over roleplay? If so, I can try to minimize or summarize the RP and maximize combats. I'm not that eloquent, but I like both. What we have now is perfect.
Inactive
Samiya checks her bandolier with flasks of alchemist's fire. Satisfied, she gets one out, holding it tightly in her hand.
Inactive
Boat is good. I'm in. Should've wrote that in the post.
Inactive
-1 for Swim. -4 with backpack. Doesn't look good for me.
Inactive
Samiya shivers when she sees the witch's remains.
"With what did she experiment?" she mutters to herself.
Samiya takes a few sips of water from her now full waterskin.
"Thanks, Kandor."
"Now, is there a broom in this house?" she begins searching for the cleaning instruments.
Inactive
Samiya steps behind Kandor and shoots the bolt in the remaining rat.
attack: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 - 4 = 15
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Inactive
Hissing from the pain Samiya tries to make the ratling useless with a disorienting spell.
Daze (DC 15)
Inactive
Samiya enters inside, treading carefully on the creaking floor.
"Hello?" She tries to open the left door.
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
kn. arcana: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 Any luck with the tracks?
Inactive
Samiya follows with the crossbow ready.
"What happened to the witch?" Samiya voices her thoughts in whisper, looking at the house.
stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Inactive
And I'm turning off Inspire Courage. Totally forgot.
Inactive
Added the cloak to the loot. Should be fine now.
Inactive
"It's good thing we have you Kandor." smiles Samiya.
Now, let's check if that's the creature who's been following us.
"Kandor, Lugert. Are these creature's feet similar to the footprint you saw earlier?"
Inactive
Ich spreche nur wenig Deutsch. :)
It's hard with all these endings, cases, declensions and strange genders. Why, why is "Mädchen" neuter?
English and Chinese have much easier grammar. Although, I must say, English has terrible pronunciation. But still better than French.
