Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
For some reason I read it as all I could do the first round was be shaken, which I get isnt what you intended lol. Salaha will share with the group quickly what she knows of this beast, and tries her best to get loose from it's grip Trying to escape: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Salaha does nearly the best she can to get from the grip of these beast.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Salaha is too shaken by the creature to do anything, this eldritch horror from beyond the planes clearly was not natural, but completely known to her. The issue now was if she could survive long enough to speak, or die given she looks as if she is near death's door after one hit.

Hey that seems familiar. Sure buddy I'll handle this simple traffic accident, what could go wrong? Sure my shift ends in 8 minutes, but it's not like they will have drugs guns and a dead body right? They had three bodies and kid pron. I in fact did not leave shift in 8 minutes.

Salaha sits on the boat as it goes deeper into the swamp, her new companion draped around her shoulders as they keep watch on the boat, keenly searching for anything out of the ordinary. She has her bow out, but also seems to be checking the swamp water every so often to ensure the health of the waters.

Answering in Draconic:
" A name is what one is known by. How they call me Salaha so I know they speak to me. We can not just call you hatchling, though that is what you are. But you are smart enough to name yourself. " Well if it has waters I should be quiet alright in it. We need to explore that somewhat, because stealing eggs is one thing, but unholy issues and now a plague bothers the town is not good signs." With that, without anyone objecting, they could head out.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
" This is not like a jungle, atleast I do not think so. I do not have much experience with those, but this should be useful to swim and climb. We shall head off unless someone wishes to stay for something else. Does anyone know good dragon names?" Salaha queries as they head out.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
"So we have underdark goblins trying to corrupt a poor little dragon, drugging and killing people... You land walkers surely need help with many things. We shall cure the illness, then perhaps look into these goblins. How did they get an egg is a great question, and you shall have to inform us more of this underdark. Does it have waters?" Salaha would be spending the time bonding with the dragon, trying out different things to feed it and care for it while the exchange the gear and other items before heading out. " I am Salaha, but you are not known to me really. What skills do you have that will help us? I do not wish to have you harmed if we can avoid it. This might be more dangerous than we thought."
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
I think Salaha would commune with nature and realizing that Snapper could survive by himself, but the dragon could not, not without destroying the local environment when he grew up, she would take the dragon, if only because it was better for the Marsh. Salaha says her goodbyes to Snapper, noting his growth and thanking both him for his service, and the natural order for giving her time with him. Sometimes things must be given up for the greater good, and though it did pain her to lose Snapper, she had a duty to the swamps, and prevention of a worse incident later now was something she had to do. Though she had little.idea what to call the small dragon, because they were intelligent and smart enough to name themselves. She would ask for it's name and general sense of self.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
" I will carry it in my clothing then. I just know it is in pain, and no creature should suffer that William. But that is also true, greens normally are in swamps, but I am unaware of any being near, so we may in fact have to care for the hatchling. Given what these goblins where doing, I can only imagine the mother is looking for it, but it.. it almost may have been left as well." Salaha seems unsure exactly what the mother did not look for the egg, given they generally are like Snapper and territorial. Snapper keeps eating the goblins as everyone talks, there is some loud bone snapping. After a moment she looks further at the signs and everything, trying to puzzle out what everything meant, retracing the symbols as she holds the eggs. After a moment she ask William " What do you make of these banners and symbols? Have you seen them previous?" K. Nature: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
" We shall bring it with us, and I'll carry it in my pack. That should help keep it warm, and we can check on whoever this is Stone found. If nothing of value was found on the goblins, I'll have Snapper get him some lunch, and I will heal those I can. Then afterwards we can go on a hunt for a mother dragon perhaps." With that Salaha will remove the egg carefully from the fire, taking her time to do so, before placing it among her other carried items, for if nothing else she will at least be the one most likely able to care for it.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
I feel bad taking draconic NOW, but that is a wise choice, and so would normal elven. So I'll get them. Salaha feels both the pain and anguish from the symbols, and tries her best to trace them back again, making sure she heard everything right. But with William telling her that is a dragon's egg, she frowns deeply. A dragon's egg is both a gift and a curse, but that was not due to anything outside of the dragon itself. It could be a friend? " Here, let us care for the egg, and perhaps a reward will be ours. Do not think that someone able to pay the price of a dragon will be a good person, that is how folly leads to evil. I shall help it. I can hear it's call. It is in pain, and able to speak." Unless stopped, Salaha will go over and try to retrieve the egg, and try to figure out the best way to care for it.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
The fact the poison was similar enough she started to see things worried her, but at the same time there was something in the room, something wrong, something dangerous. Whatever was in the fire was calling her, drawing her closer to touching it, but she also knew it was dangerous, even as she tries her best to look and remember what the symbols were telling her. Was this something she had dealt with before? Salaha moves closer to the symbols, tracing them with her fingers before following closer to the fire to investigate whatever was with in the fire.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
I'm just gonna go into melee, I think I've taken the caster out right? Or it just appears that way due to the like 14 damage I did? Salaha spends her action this round to take out her cloak and try to billow the smoke away, to clean the air for all to breath better, and then draw out her Trident afterwards. If she can't move all the cloud then she draws and steps up into combat.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Salaha frowns as Snapper is looking a bit too out of it to fight, and she will recall him back to her, having him withdraw fully to avoid any attacks. With the rest of her action, she will take another shot at the goblin in the back casting spells, hoping she is strong enough to resist the cloud. Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Snapper Fort save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Salaha takes aim back at the goblin that threw something, hoping to take it from the fight quickly as she manages to cough, but seems unaffected by the cloud of issues. Snapper attempts to bite as well at the goblin in front of him, maybe with a flanking for someone Snapper attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Salaha frowns at the information given, but given the pile of clothing she does worry perhaps there may be other things at play here she is unaware of. After a few moments she says " Thank you Grun. We shall proceed forward however, for to now turn back is foolish. We shall watch the orb you discovered, and clear out the rest of it. The ambush seems likely, but if you know the kelp is grabbing you, you are better able to grab it as well. We shall trigger this ambush ourselves." She then makes ready her crossbow, and ensures everything everyone needed was set before following them deeper into the tunnels, ready to protect these new friends of her.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Salaha steps to Dain and touches his shoulder, her mouth muttering a few words as her hands glow. After a moment Dain would feel his skin be a bit thicker, hopefully in an effort to help him in the upcoming fight. " Here, this spell should toughen your skin in the melee against them. It shall last a few minutes, so we have time to maybe get in a few scraps before hand. Watch out though, for as the waves crash on rocks, they can sometimes break." Casting Barkskin on Dain for a +2 to natural armor. It might be helpful.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
After helping William through the poison both had suffered from, she asks the group, after checking to see if any of her bolts can be reused and any equipment gathered from the fallen goblins. " We saw more back in the cave, and they are somewhat well armed. I am curious of their poison, and to see how they got these arms. We may be doing good work to remove them, is everyone okay with moving forward?"
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Nature to see if I know the poison?: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Salaha searches her memory to see if she knows the poison. If she does or doesn't, she is going to try and heal it the best she knows how , as she has no spells ready to deal with a poison. "I hope this helps, as I can do little with the information that I have, outside of having been affected previously."
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Taking heart as the battle seems to turn in their favor, Salaha keeps taking shots at the goblins, and will direct Snapper to help out as well. It was close to winning the battle as they could be and she felt their team had the upper hand so far. " Come on everyone! We are close to removing these beast from the land! Let no goblin remain" crossbow to hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Snapper bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Salaha calls out to Snapper to keep flanking for Grun, and trying to attack, using her move action this round. She herself tries to hit another with her crossbow, the same one that William hit. The less they have the better for the others. crossbow hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Snapper hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
It's okay, we all make mistakes lol. Like I'm not sure how to use snapper in combat well lol to hit: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Salaha takes courage in one of the goblins seemingly to be dead, and takes her aim at the next one who is not in close combat, knowing that makes it easier for those in combat.
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
After hitting one of the goblins, she was hoping it was dead, but it seemed to not be, so she focused her attention on it. These goblins needs to die and fast. " Keep it up friends! The waves may be harsh, but the treasure is sweet!"
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
Sorry I wasn't aware I was able to go again, my bad. Even if for now my turns are sorta simple lol To hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Salaha lines up another shot at the goblins, hoping to thin out their ranks and help her team through the ones they are attacking
Female Aquatic Elf Druid 3
"We may be invaders, but goblins are a menace to all friend, sea, land, I bet there is even air goblins. But perhaps you ..." Salaha words are cut short as the goblins fire at the group, or rather those in front. Clearly whatever talking or retreating to be done was over with, it was time for action and a time to remove this menace from the area. Salaha would then move and shoot the nearest goblin on the left with her crossbow. She was tiring of these creatures! to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
