Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina walks up to Beatrix just as she falls to her knees. Placing a hand on Bea's shoulder, and answering the paladins questions almost as if she was Erastil himself.

Love, comfort, forgiveness. These are the things that bring poeple together. That allow us to build strong communities. Where our stregth becomes more than the sum of its parts.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina seems shocked at the notion of weekly sermons and communal prayer.

"Wait, are there really places where people gather for communal prayers?" Sabrina says with a hopeful expression.

"That's so wonderful. Can show me?" Sabrina asks looking to Beatrix and Havrin with wide eyed excitement.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina looks up at Katya with a puzzled look, as she didn't know the common word. "It is called ma-gic?"

Suddenly Sabrina appears awe struck and lets out a small chuckle as she remembers an old fey joke she now gets.

"I've always thought of it as my gift from father. He gave it to me about 5 summers ago when I was weeping for a hurt deer."

Sabrina spends several rounds tending to Bea's wounds, while dropping in a slight lecture. "That beast is really dangerous. I know you're brave but we have to be careful if we face such a beast again. My magics can't tame it the way it can most animals. And father says you can't die before you've taught me about the world."

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina will make her way to Beatrix P8 which should put her just within range to burst heal her.

1d6 ⇒ 3

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"Ut oh, I can not calm it!" Sabrina screams out as she realizes her calming spell does not work on this mystical beast.

Internal monologue, "This is no normal beast, is it father?"

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Hopefully it doesn't kill us :D But yes, its purposely selected so that she can experience the limits of her spells.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Knowledge (Nature) 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

BTW, I know it's a magical beast, but Sabrina doesn't.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Is there a tree branch that can be cut loose and lowered down? If so, Sabrina would like to combine calm animals and speak with animals to encourage it to climb free.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina in her typical fashion follows Beatrix's lead.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina takes aim with her longbow, but noticing that they are running off she stays her arrow, not being one to cause needless harm.

Sabrina, seeing a fight about to unfold, draws her longbow and provides a quick blessing.

"Father, guide us."

Cast Bless

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Put off by the swarm off spiders and not yet knowing Bokken personally, Sabrina doesn't see the point in going back into the thicket but she will help heal any wounds when everyone is done.

"Those look bad, are you sure the berries were worth it?" Sabrina ask somewhat retorically as before anyone can answer she continues, "So, come on then, let me tend to your scatches."

Channel Positive Energy 1d6 ⇒ 6

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

I'm ok with DM rolling inititive, I actually like that better. But, I like for characters to roll their own saves, simply because they best know what bonus to apply. With that said it's only a somewhat like so I wouldn't care if those were DM rolled if that was the consensus.

"Thank you father for answering my prayers. Sabrina say as she stares into the sky.

Then Sabrina looks to Jacyn, "Father always tells me that he provides us trials to help us grow. I imagine this was one of them. So, I know he is happy hearing your pledge."

"Ouch that hurt! Sabrina complains as she looks for a stick that would make a suitable torch. If she can't find one within reach she leaves the thicket.

Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

While obviously not happy about being bitten, Sabrina shows little concern over the fact that they are spiders.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Having no cause for concern and a love for berries, Sabrina goes and helps herself.

Survival 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 to avoid the thorns.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Are these regular spider webs or super sized? Does Sabrina remember any issues with spiders from her past time here?

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"Erastil must favor the boar you speak of. Why not just hunt another one instead?"

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Round 1, Init 4

Assuming it's still alive by the time Sabrina can act, she tries to calm the boar.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3
Bea wrote:
Beatrix can't help but laugh. The Stag Lord is the name of the chief of bandits, not the same as the Great Stag who both Havrin and I revere." She takes the pendant and shows it to Sabrina. "See this symbol? His followers wear it and it marks them as a bad sort of people." Tapping her own pendant, she continues. "This is the symbol of your father, Erastil. See the difference?" Now that I think about it, it's almost as if he took something good and pure and twisted it to evil...

Sabrina clutches the blasphemous stag pendant in her hand, "I don't like it... I want to stop him!"

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"What?! How can you say that about followers of my father. The great stag is good to everyone!"

Sabrina misunderstands Havrin's reference to the Stag Lord bandit as a reference to her father.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"It's hard to be sure because horses think differently than us..."

"But he (or she) says that this one is he friend," Sabrina explains pointing to the man the horse indicated.

"They were running away from a man, or a wolf, or both. Or running after it. The horse didn't say exactly. But they were scared so I'm guessing they were running away."

"Either way, he was killed and the horse ran away after that."

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"Oh no. Who would do this?!" Sabrina yells as she runs up to the bodies to inspect them for signs of life, knowing her actions are futile. After spending a moment coming to terms with their seemingly since-less deaths, Sabrina decides to ask the horse what happened.

Speak with Animals (5 rounds/day)

Horse Speak:

"How are you doing?"
"Is everything ok?"
"Do you know these men?"
"How did this happen?"
"Where are they from?"

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina is still getting used to exploring with purpose. Most of her life she more or less wandered without purpose beyond staying safe and hunting. So she will simply follow the consensus without much interest in the particulars for now.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3
Havrin Stahl wrote:

Southeast sounds good to me too.

"There was something... odd... about Stefan Ionescu," Havrin says softly after he is sure that the man is well beyond human - or animal - earshot. "He seemed almost... wolflike. Wouldn't you agree, Sabrina?"

"Yeah but why does he hide it...?" Sabrina asks, showing she might not understand why that could be a problem.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Using speak with animals Sabrina makes a simple wolf howl that roughly translates to friends.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"Sounds like fun. I wonder who it is?" Sabrina says with a slight excitement in her voice.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

Sabrina does nothing special unless instructed to. She does however attempt to whistle the song she heard in her dreams last night. The one Adam was playing at camp, though she is so bad you wouldn't know it.

Perform: Sing 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

I was thinking of doing something along those lines. The child of a god, giving Katya some boon of some sort would be great irony. But, Sabrina is asleep and I don't have anything on her that would work at the moment.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

As Sabrina waits for Adam to deal the next game, she lays back and looks into the muggy sky. There is a faint memory of Adam calling to her,

Adam wrote:
"...Sabrina...game...ready..."

, before Sabrina slips into sleep leaving the four gold coins she has left laying carelessly at her feet.

Female Human Cleric of Erastil, Level 3

"Again?" Sabrina asks as she puts another coin down. She has 6 gp/hands to play it out.

Hands:

Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Profession (Gambling) 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

For purposes of learning, any hand lost by 10 or more, Sabrina unintentionally does something that counts as cheating.
