Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Scuttle stays in the throne room, curious about the feast, and trying to determine the intent behind such a thing.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Scuttle seems "restless", in the quarters, as much as a droid can be said to be, at any rate. When Colvin suggests a task for him, he extends his legs, seeming to leap up at the opportunity. "Of course! I shall be the best spy the Republic has ever known!"

Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24
Deception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Scuttle makes his way to the Throne Room, doing his best to stay out of sight, and in the event that someone does notice him, he does his best to appear as simply a maintenance droid. He makes his way around the throne room, taking in any information he can.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Not I, but I do have a hidden blaster pistol for use during our inevitable capture.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Not knowing Huttese, Scuttle watches Raden suspiciously during the escort inside. It is only when he starts groveling that Scuttle stops paying him any mind. "Cowardly creature," the droid mutters. "He will have no place in the tales of our victories!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Oh hey I exist again! Glad to see this game is still going - any chance I could catch up and pop back in?

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

The one Kessra is getting onto

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Scuttle takes a second to study the swoop bike, searching his databanks for the make and model, before aiming his small blaster at it, attempting to incapacitate it. At best, hit the fuel tank if such a thing exists, at worst, hit the stabilizers

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 (Against DC 10 + CL of the enemy. If success, I and everyone else get +1 attack until the end of my next turn.)

Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 (additional +1 if Spotter succeeds, additional +1 if I am within 30 ft)
Damage: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3) = 11 (+1 if within 30 ft)

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Yeah sorry, I meant Red, since the other two are down

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Had Scuttle a face, he may have frowned when the body of Callum dropped, nearly landing on him, as he performed the minor surgery. Verifying that Callum is not in immediate danger of death, and is merely unconscious, Scuttle turns his attention to the remaining biker.

"The Light of the Republic shines even in the darkest of alleys, even when the night seems longest. Behold!" Scuttle activates the small spotlight on his head, angling it to shine in the biker's face. "The Righteous Light shall consume all!"

Attack Sort Of: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Shining a Multispectrum Searchlight into his face. Attack is against Fort Defense. If the attack succeeds, the biker takes a -5 to attack rolls, perception, piloting, and other skill checks until my next turn. If the attack fails, he still takes a -2 penalty.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Treat Injury w/ Medical Kit: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 2 = 24

Scuttle, now next to Callum, begins to tend first to his bleeding leg, first spraying the area with a localised anesthesia, and then using a small laser to bind the skin closed. "Hold still, sir. I know these puny ruffians would likely collapse if even a drop of your courageous Republic blood touched them, but as a flesh creature you must endeavour to keep it inside you!"

Using Treat Injury as a Full-Round Action. DC 15 (Assuming at least a +2 difficulty since this is during combat. Callum regains 3 HP, plus 1 for every 5 points by which I beat the DC. So, probably just 4-5 HP, and he moves +1 step up the Condition track.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Gonna use Spotter as a Move action, and then a Swift action to deploy my gun, using my Standard action to Move to Callum.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 Against DC of 10 + the Leader's level, which I assume I succeed on.

Scuttle quickly studies the Vipers's leader, assessing her movements and looking for weaknesses. Evaluating her purple hair, scars, and current profession, he hypothesizes that she's no stranger to brawls, and searches for a movements that suggest an old wound. "Lower right rib," He instructs. "Broken, likely in a bar fight, does not seem to have healed correctly. Trust me, she will know she has gone up against the Republic's best!"

Everyone gets a +1 to attacks against the leader until the end of my next turn.

Without waiting for the others to make a move, the barrel of a blaster pistol drops out from Scuttle's lower compartment, beginning to focus on the leader, as he skitters closer to Callum.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Oh that's awesome, congrats!

Will update my stat line.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

"Several species that are sexually dimorphic feature differences in anatomy!" SCT-L3 responds to Callum as they walk, happy to provide some education. "For instance, there is a type of whale where the females are much larger than males, and contain extra blubber to meet their significant reproductive demands. This can also serve as a defense, making the men considerably easier to kill. There is also a spec-"

As the swoops descend and surround them, SCT-L3's voice is lost in the sound of engines. When the woman finishes talking, SCT-L3 continues his discussion with Callum, adding "Vipers, too, have some slight dimorphia, such as a stripe running behind the eyes of males, that is never present on females." Now processing the scene fully, SCT-L3 turns to Colvin. "I do believe this is extortion. Though it is also quite possible they have simply not been informed of our status as heroes of the Republic!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

"Devaronians," Scuttle points out, answering a question that no one asked, "were one of the earlier races to develop hyperdrive technology, which is why they are so widespread across the galaxy. Their species also has sexual dimorphism, where the females do not have the horns that the males do, but do have hair."

"As an aside: Despite their dimorphism, they die exactly the same way. The differences are primarily cosmetic."

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Still here! Just figure Scuttle should currently be keeping his lips a little buttoned.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Trouble or VICTORY?

[EDIT]

For real, though, in case anyone is worried - he's a soldier, with a primary function of protecting and supporting the team, he'll listen to your orders on the mission.

But also maybe kill Imperials. :D

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Scuttling towards the ramp, SCT-L3 pauses as he nears Captain O'Keefe, and raises one of his front pincer-clad legs over his head in an approximation of a salute. "Affirmative, Captain." the droid chirps. "Unless, of course, the Imperial position is so weak that we can defeat the lot of them, in which case we shall proudly liberate Cato Neimoidia! The Empire shall lose its footing, one planet at a time, until they have nothing left!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Haha I'm from Boston, I know all about avoiding bars when there's sports happening. You better believe I'm gonna get a proper cheesesteak, that's priority #1.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Yes, but not in ~13 years so it'll be cool to go back! It's a pretty short trip and short notice trip so I'm not sure I'll have a lot of time to explore, though.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Hey gang, just a head's up that I'm going to Philadelphia for a few days for work, (Sunday through Wednesday) and may not have much availability. Feel free to bot (teehee) me as necessary!

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

The target being a third-party Hutt and not directly related to the Empire does nothing to dampen Scuttle's enthusiasm. If anything, having a mission seems to further invigorate the small droid. "It is very like the Imperials to use deceit as a tool against freedom! But they have been sloppy, and we shall close this route to them, amputate the arm before the infection can spread further, and back them into a corner. Victory will be ours!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

I also have Treat Injury as a battlefield support droid.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

SCT-L3 perks and bounces up a bit when Sebbik defends himself. "I like this one, he has spirit." He says to Colvin, before turning to Sebbik. "You should be commended for your efforts in weakening the Empire, it will be an honour to fight for justice alongside you!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

The small droid scuttles around Colvin's legs, getting a better look at the others, before turning his attention to the scoundrel beside him. "These look more like civilians than soldiers." The droid replies, his voice emulating marked disappointment. "We will require much more if we are to bring about the destruction of the Empire!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

"For the Republic!"

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

I am also not a pilot.

Droid Scout 2 / Soldier 1

Hey Castor! Excited to play with you again.

Pretty sure my alias is just about ready to go.
