I'm here but I was waiting for the others to respond before jumping ahead. I will wait and see if the others are even still here. Sorry for not poking. The last few weeks have been a little busy on my end.

Turning so that she is walking backwards and nodding, "Yep. That's my job."

Turning back around and looking back and forth before finding a quiet place to stop at. Waving Lorgram and Grimlak over, "So those 'birds' belong to a older gnome and they are his nieces. I'm not sure the best place for them is with him but the family thinks they were kidnapped. And since the grandfather was using their skills to get into better social standing it seems likely."

And yes I am heading to the church.

Quietly following along and stays outside with Knack, quietly scratching his shoulders. Flinching but giving no other reaction when the owl lands on her own shoulder. Bumping the owl with her head and the three sit quietly until Logram and Grimlak come out.

Standing up and glaring at them, "We will not be going bandit hunting. We are doing the one I wanted to do. It is far more important."

Turning from the building, "Come on. We need a quiet place to talk. And so help me if you to start another fight I will send flocks of birds to s!~! on you all day long. There will be nowhere you will be safe."

"Runia and that sounds perfectly reasonable."

Reaching back and nudging Knack behind her, "I swear he will behave and I am sorry if my tone was hostile. I promise I do not want to cause trouble."

Nodding along with Logram, "I mean if she did nothing wrong there really isn't any reason to keep her is there?"

I am still recovering from moving and have a lot of drama in my life. A friend is fostering her niece and I lost my live table, almost lost a PbP table over the weekend too. Fast pace games, meaning multiple post a day are to fast for me. The pace is fine by me.

Also if it seems like you are being a ball hog I will say something. When it makes sense for the story I have never had any issue with the spotlight being on others besides myself.

PbP can allow for a lot of RP and that is why I game so I am always down for that :)

Crossing her arms and glaring at Grimlak, "I suppose I should also explain how everyone else is dangerous from one perspective to another, right?"

Sucking in a deep breath, "Do people discredit you? Do the people in this town think you only like to drink and fight? That you are never sober? Or that you should be back with your people drinking and making weapons? No they treat you like a person. They do not make wild and foolish assumptions just because you are dwarf but you felt it was needed with her?"

Closing her eyes a moment before looking at Grimlak again. All anger gone though it is replaced with a look of grief, "Our people should be better. Why is it so hard for dwarves to have a sense of decency and respect for others? The man at the bar said she was doing nothing wrong."

Taking a deep breath before answering, "Honestly sir I know those three and I kind of need their help for something."

Biting her lip and shooting her companions a glare, "Can I at least know what stupidity they got up to while unsupervised? I swear I am not try to worsen your headache." Yep that's what I'm gonna give all of them.

Staring up at the sky and letting out a little whine when the drifting voices hit her ears, Why?"

Tugging on Knack and moving to trail behind the group of trouble makers. Really don't have time for this. Do I stop them? Don't wanna spend the night in jail... Yep I get first pick of loot when that rolls around and I am gonna punch all of them... Wonder if I could get Crux to just s@&~ on them? His aim is not that bad.

Closing her eyes for a moment before calling out, Guard!"

Waving her hands and jogging up to the guard. Keeping a hand on Knack so that Knack stays behind her.

Groaning and rubbing her face, "Thanks for letting me know."

Tugging on Knack's shoulder and rushing out of the bar.

Do I need to make checks to try to follow? Or is the bickering easy to hear?

Merciful Gods why did I leave them?Groaning and following afterwards s few steps before pushing Crux off her shoulder. Flinching at the bite to her ear, "Follow them please."

Looking around and rushing up to the barkeep, "Hey what happened? Why were the guards called?"

Wincing at the claws that dig into her shoulder when Crux reclaims his place on her. Quietly pushing the door of the tavern open with one hand and keeping the other on Knacks back. Oh please let that noise be someone I don't know.

Rubbing her face and slumping against the wall, "I will try to make sure they are safe. Beyond that it is up to them. Thanks for letting me know." Why can't people just not be asses?

Pushing off the bed and signaling Knick Knack to follow. The two take their time trying to find something that has a strong scent to it. "I will do what I can." No need to get a donkey now. Where would those three be?

Once Runia has what she thinks she needs she is gonna go back to the tavern and hope that she can track the others. Do you want some rolls?

Leaning against the wall and watching the gnome pace, "Yeah I noticed that. So I am guessing he is always like that seeing as you are really pissed about it?"

Is there more than one church in this town?

Glancing back at the elder gnome and nodding. Weird how people always think killing for revenge is good. Tugging on Knack and following Bartowizitz.

"Be best if we could keep whatever you have and where were they last seen?"

Reaching back to scratch behind Knack's ear while the older gnome stares at her, "Runia Koknyll and this is Knick Knack. We at pretty good at finding things. Knack here is an excellent tracker, been doing it since he was only up to my hip, if you can get him something that has the birds scent on it. Besides the tracking I have a bit of magic to help me and I can be really sneaky when the occasion calls. Plus I wanna help."

Sort of back. Moving has been a pain and I am waiting for a baby to fall asleep. Tomorrow I should be back in full swing. I have not been reading what the others were doing but that will change tomorrow cause clearly some stuff is going on.

Walking over to the elderly gnome and holding out her hands so that he can get a good look at her ink stained fingers. Her wild hair and layered clothing. The white scaled leather jacket and the travel stains. Along with the lack of any visible weapons beyond a walking stick. Though the massive shaggy wolf behind her is clearly a weapon of sorts.

Give me a few more days and I can give a full account. The short is that everything that had been simmering dangerously below the surface finally bubbled over and friendships have died. But I am keeping the ones that matter. Many of us are still staying in a group but we have to reconfigure things. But thank you.

I will be moving on Friday so I doubt I will post then but I should be back. I have a few games that have a lot to catch up on.

I think my live table just fell apart. I may need a few days to get rid of the lingering anger, bitterness, and sadness I feel.

Shrugging, "Alright, lead the way then." Ha, why would we want to chase after birds? He says. Well cause they are missing people cause gnomes are weird.

Chewing on her lip, clearly thinking, before answering, "Something that carries their scent and I need to know where they were seen last. I wanna talk with him and maybe any friends they have. I gotta let my companions know. They might think of something I haven't."

"Yep." Tilting her head to the side and tapping her chin, "So does this has to be done without him knowing?"

Quickly reaching out to tug Knack along with her while letting herself be pulling along and mumbling, "I have tact. And why are you doing this if your uncle would be mad?"

Stopping to stare at the gnome before calling out, "Are you the one with posting?"

Mumbling to Crux, "If it looks like I'm gonna die go get the others."

Scooping up the coins then her things, "Good luck with the wagon. See you all in the morning."

Striding out the door and glancing one direction before turning another way. Donkeys are easy.

Tapping people on the shoulder and trying to get out some combination of, "Excuse me. I'm trying to find the gnome who is missing his song birds." or "Sorry to be a bother, do you know where the gnome who is missing his song birds lives." Though pleasantly of people do not even let her finish her question and she is left asking the air.

Growling quietly and making rude gestures behind the backs of those who could not be bothered to help.

Snapping her fingers under the table and feeling Knack nose at her before speaking to the others, "Great I will go see about finding some donkey's and go ask about the missing birds since I have time. Do we want to meet back here in the morning?"

"That is most generous of you Grimlak. I can split it with you, if you like." Leaning back and tucking the journal that was in her lap back into its place in her bag.

"So are we leaving sometime later today?"

Rubbing her face and happily starting to eat herself since Crux and Knack have been fed. Waving around a hunk of bread while speaking, "So lone merchant while we all are not far. Is that what we are going with?"

Pointing the bread at Logram, "Do you wanna be alone or have two dogs with you?"

Sighing and feeding Crux another piece of meat. "Fine, fine."

"He was searching you pockets for snacks. Also you never know what you might find in ruins. Sometimes it is just traps and over grown snakes and other times it might be other looters who do not play nice."

Leaning back in her chair with a shrug, "Knack, I am ordering you more food so knock it off. I really do wanna help the gnome and that shouldn't take long. Then we can go pretend to be merchants, ripe for the banditing."

A large grin crawls across her lips, "I am always willing to see Logram get into a new role."

Reaching up and thumping the little bird on the beak. Refocusing on Grimlak with complete seriousness, "Cause if I didn't Crux would scream at me all night. Besides gnomes aren't that bad. They are eccentric."

Face buried in a notebook and furiously moving a ink pen held in ink stained fingers across the page. Red hair spilling over her shoulders and mostly shrouding her face, completely absorbed in her task. Backpack forgotten under her chair and a small fluffy owl is perched on her shoulder watch what Runia is working on with wide yellow eyes.

Lifting her head quickly, hair flying in all directions and the odd little owl is completely unaffected by the spontaneous movement. Staring at Grimlak with wide eyes. Quickly pulling the book back to hide the new drawing, "Umm, what?"

Moving the book to her lap and leaning back, "Money right? We were talking about coin? I mean no one likes bandits and they tend to have interesting things."

Reaching down and grabbing her plate off of the floor and laying it on the table. Scratching the ear of the shaggy mutt at her feet, "Whatever is fine by me but I have a gnome to find."

Twisting around and waving her a hand wildly in the air, "Hey! Can I get some more food please?"

Hmm, people posted while I typed then forgot about before posting to shop. Runia does have a cure light wounds wand but I would be happy to trade that out for some other first level druid spell, if someone has a suggestion, or just keep the two wands as healing is important.

I am totally cool with us all having known each other for a while.

I will try and get the tag line thing hammered out tonight.

Also as I am spending the feat to get us a healer does anyone have a preference on either a Oracle with the life mystery, a Shaman, or a Cleric, domains to be decided if this is the preferred. They all have the various healing and resurrection spells.

I think I will go with Embla, though Runia was not raised there, if I can make a request. Can my mother have been either a child of or married to the tyrant mayor? If that does not work I can figure something out. But a lot will stay the same.

I picked the slag child trait and that would be a good reason to have that. Runia's mother fled and raised her daughter away from everyone. Her mother was a deeply paranoid woman and that did have an affect on Runia. She wants to see the best in people but there is always a nagging voice in here head that people are dangerous and will betray you. So she limits her time in towns and spends most of her time in the wild. Animals are more honest. She is fiercely protective of what she considers hers, animal, items, or people.

She is a bit of a thrill seeker and loves a good fight, so long as it is justified. I went with the Door Sight domain thing because being nosy is fun!

Also I apparently need to add “-slag,” “-slagsun,” or “-slagdam” to my surname... Not sure where I want to add that. That would have been a title her mother earned due to family and Runia inherited.

I am ready for jolly cooperation.

Sorry for the radio silence. My brothers car broke so he had to use mine all week. Yesterday and today we both had to get up super early in the morning, and we work nights, to do paperwork to get him his own car.

It says I get to reroll and since I have had these two for a while I'm gonna reroll. I am doing all this might as well do those to. Sorry for the wall of dice! Since I have had these guys for a while can I role more than once? I will assume that most of the things that they failed at are things they do not like doing.

So Crux Flux will deliver things but that will likely be with a bite as well. Same with heel. Honestly just a lot of biting anyways. Sneak is the one I am sad about. As stealth is a focus. But with practice comes perfection.

Knick Knack does not like to be alone. This works for me.
