Rova waits for Aviz to return for what must have been days. He snuck after the bird man.
Rova followed Deylar and Aviz out of the room with a disturbing smile on his face. He piped up "This mission is shaping up to include a right proper amount of slaughter Rovagug will it." the tone of his voice is cheery.
Rova tosses his ignored goblin in the corner with the others and unsheathes his swords. He raises an eyebrow at Aviz as if to say and now what?
Rova picks up a groveling naked goblin and shoves it towards Deylar like a salesman showcasing a product. "Compact pleasure slave. Just the right size for you magic man." he says in an enthusiastic friendly tone.
On the loot note, what was that magic sword I picked up in the hallway.
In a fit of blind rage Rova advances.
Stifling a roar Rova takes a deep breath and exhales, still looking at the goblins with a wistful stare that one only hopes is further bloodlust and not another kind of lust.
Good thing they don't know that!
Rova chops into the nearest blighter as they turn violent much to his delight.
Rova attacks with reckless abandon!
Subtle as a bag of bricks!
E 12 I believe. I can get there in one turn as a full move with a 40ft base speed I believe.
Rova nods at Aviz and draws his weapon, running into the room, right past the surprised goblins, attempting to reach the rear exit and cut off escape. He shouts, "The actions of your race don't decide your fate. Are you hostile or otherwise dangerous!?" he roars.
"We can destroy them?" Rova asks eagerly.
I'm keeping an eye on it but no GM so...
Rova bends down and picks up the sword. Nodding in agreement to Aviz.
Rova Cleaves down with a falcata.
After sustaining a vicious blow, Rova responds with ravaging attacks
With a quick laugh at the little Gob's swelling puny muscles, Rova growls and flexs his own more substantial muscles. Ready to attack as the Gob walked onto the rune, Rova runs up to the little blighter and attacks with a vicious thrust.
Nodding at the cleric, Rova whispers "Yes. Most of my kind despises hiding, but Rova understands that destruction sometimes comes from the dark of the void."
With the help of the winged fighter, Rova joins his guildmates at the tunnel entrance. He whispers "Let's gut that little gobby and take his red sword."
I am back, sorry for the abscence. On Oct 6th I broke my ankel, and have been out of work, having surgery and all around preoccupied. While still in a boot, and unable to walk, I am back at work and can continue on. It seems that I'm at the bottom of the cliff and there is a red sword having goblin at the top?
Rova continues to roar.
The power and abandon of his swings still executed with a strange mix of skill and shocking brutality.
Rova roars as the giant bug rears its ugly head. Blades in hand he runs at the monster with a savage cry.
He attempts to disembowel the squishy worm.
Level 6 Barbarian
"He can say 'Rova is the Herald of the Rough Beast' no gob will shout that out." Rova suggests.
Rova looks down from quaffing his small bowl in two gulps, he smiles a toothy grin and hands Saru the wooden spoon he used to stir the pot.
"Saru, eat some breakfast." Rova says, offering the smaller man a bowl with a light broth and chunks of meat in it.
Also making use of his vision, Rova takes the late watch after Aviz into the morning. He walks the outer perimeter of the camp foraging and trying to catch rabbits and squirrels.
In the morning, a small pot of meat stew is simmering over the ashes of the fire. Rova's large mass huddled over it in a squat stirring quietly.
Yup sounds solid to me.
"Barthol is right, we leave, and burn the fortress to the ground, all goblins within, a sacrifice to the destroyer." Rova says with fervor and conviction. He sheathes his blades and sets off into the underbrush, heading in the general direction of the keep. Looking like an animal clad in fur and dried blood.
"Lets go blow stuff up!"
Rova nods listening, after seriously considering the flippant birds request to fight. Deciding that he wouldn't endanger his place in this new group of wondrous people, no, he would simply amass power and slay the bird at a later time. "Granted the strength of a thousand orcs, to send his soul to the dead vault." he thinks with a smile. "So we must enact a plan, fire and back door at the same time sound good to me. We could collect more pelts then Barthol ever has and Saru can get into the tower in disguise and set the unguarded one alight while Aviz, Deylar and myself scale the back cliff, waiting in the sewers until the goblins are panicking from the fire."
“If you wish to control others you must first control yourself." Rova states. "You have no authority to take prisoners here in the wild, you're no t the law. So if you wish to claim Barthol as your slave, then as the initial victor you have first claim, and I cede my claim to you." Rova shakes his head, confused as to how Aviz doesn't understand slave taking etiquette.
"How can you claim this gnoll to be your prisoner, when I claim it as my slave?" Rova asks with a heartfelt bow, stepping towards the Bugbear in a manner that is both threatening and friendly, like a friend that would accidentally strangle you to death in good fun.
I don't. So IC it seems that you(Saru) don't want this bugbear/gnoll interfering which Rova picks up on...
On the pathfinder wiki under the profile of Rovagug, it says Gnolls worship him. Now that doesn't have to be ALL gnolls of course.
Well, he's either about to die, or become MY Bugbear. If a slackjawed goblin can coerce him, you'd better be damn sure that Rova can.
"It means I'm blessed by the Rough Beast, The Great Destroyer. It means that I won't be defeated, and that you should do what you can to help us in the name of destruction and keeping your own soul out of the Dead Vault." EDIT: "What sort of Gnoll doesn't recognized the mark of Rovagug?" Rova exclaims, shocked. "What's your name?"
Yeah it was gnolls I was thinking of, gnolls worship Rovagug.
I thought bugbears might worship Rovagug as one of the more destructive races. hmm
That's still only eight minutes to scaled a cliff... not bad at all.
Listening to the gnoll, Rova nods intently. Then a thought occurs to him. He points to tattoo on his left pectoral. The Fanged Spider. "You know what this is? What this means?"
I was going to just stay quiet for awhile and then kill it at the end of the interrogation. Also my brother fell off a 20ft ladder and broke both his legs yesterday, so there's that.
