"Either way I would prefer if we meet them on our terms this time." Roga says, while rubbing of of his still sore wounds. "Perhaps it would be best to follow Grendolynn's suggestion and lure them out of the camp, but I think you're right Amoonrann in that the towers are going to be trouble."
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
"Thank you both for your hospitality, I hope we'll all see each other soon. I would like to borrow a wartrained mount and leave Crestor here until we return." Roga says while shaking their hands. He walks over to one of the bandit horses inspects it and starts to saddle it.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Roga walks in a little better shape than yesterday, but not much. As he closes in on the others he says: "Good morning, how is everyone feeling this morning?" After this he walks outsides takes a knee, finds his little bone bow and starts praying. As he enters again he continues: "I'm still a little under the weather from yesterday and would like another day before heading out."
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Seeing Stellan's gesture Roga doesn't answer but nods to the man and walks over to the food, eats some and then looks questioning at the medical supplies. He turns his gaze to Stellan and pauses about to say something but decides against it. He walks a few paces and then turns towards Stellan and says hesitating: "Amoonrann said you were a decent healer, would you mind looking at my wounds, she and Triaxus have done all they can but some of the wounds are still leaking?" Roga looks as though he regrets the words as soon as he has said them.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Feeling the white fire surround him Roga is a bit sceptical, but as some of his pain subsides and one of the sword-strike closes before his eyes, he smiles and says to Triaxus: "I do belive this is good in origin, thank you for your help. It closed one of my wounds, but I have more and will go rest now so I might recover more quickly." And with those words and a friendly nod to Triaxus and Amoonrann he heads over to the quest house to sleep. For my part I think we should move it forward to the next morning. I am currently at 4 hp.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Roga looks puzzled at Triaxus as the man speaks, he then takes a moment to contemplate the offer and asks: "What kind of help are you talking about, is it something I am not going to like?" Please don't let this man be a cleric of some evil god, that would just ruin my day, he thinks silently while waiting for Triaxus' answer.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
"Thank you Amoonrann" Roga says after she is done bandaging his wound. Afterwards with some pain Roga walks out to the others and says: "As I suspected my wounds are going to need some time to recover, I won't be able to participate in a fight in the comming days unless it is strictly necessary."
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
After having heard the others arguments Roga stands still contemplating his final decision, He seems a little surprised by Oleg's statement but nods as Oleg speaks. "Oleg, if that is what your wish we will let him live." Roga turns to the others and asks: "What should our plan be? I think we should head after the bandits when we have recovered from this." At Amoonrann offer Roga turns his attention to her: "Your offer is most welcome, it would be nice to have the wounds tended. Where would it be easiest to do so?" It surdently isn't an easy one this mission. Erastil must be testing me first a hobgoblin and now a winterwitch - a coulorfull bunch indead. Perhaps it would be easier to just roam the borderlands and work with the hamlets there? Stop it, focus on the task at hand, get better and find the bandits to proctect Oleg and Svetlana.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Do you have any sources besides the inner sea guide? The end might justify the means, as in overthrowing an evil king, against the law yes but a law that protects such a system is not a correct law. I agree with you that Erastil comes before the generic paladin code. And can we avoid the Erastil discussion going around the forums :D

"Is what he says to be trusted?" Roga asks a bit doubtful. He looks at the two closely and adds: "Did you promise him anything?" Realising Grendolynn's question Roga suddenly turns quiet, all he utters is a hmm... while his fingers on his right hand is tapping his palm. After a short period he answers: "The way is see it I gave him an option to surrender and he didn't. The penalty for his crime is death. However a case could be made for offering him pardon should he truly repent. This pardon would require some sort of penance.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Seeing Triaxus and Grendolynn talking outside the guest house Roga walks over to them, he is clearly marked from the battle with bloodstained cloths from coagulated wounds, a wound on his left hand promising a scare to come. He looks inquisitive at the two and asks: "What did the bandit say during interrogation?"
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Quick question, is it an evil act to cast an evil spell or does one become evil of doing so? Is it an evil act to accept the spell? After having thought about it and read the code and dunebuggs post I arrived at the following: The spell is evil in nature but casting does not make the caster evil, I don't think it is an evil act to cast or accept the spell the spell (depending on what is required to do so) but it is against the intention in the code. Let me hear what you think. EDIT: I am planing on not asking Stellan for aid as my character does not trust him fully yet, but that would take some time before Roga is go to go. How would you like for this to play out having in mind it shouldn't affect the party mechanics.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
"Then we need to talk more about this later Stellan, I'm tired now and need to rest." Roga sighs. He then addresses everyone: "I think we should head out when we have recovered and face the bandits away from the trading post, so we don't do more damage here." He answers Triaxus: "I don't know how much I would be able to aid you, in my honest opinion he should be executed and all I can offer is a merciful death. Would that aid you?" He walks over to Amoonrann and asks: "Would you be able to dress my wounds before I rest?"
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
"You're quite right Amoonrann, lets just hope he will talk, when he wakes. Perhaps their leader has a map of some sort?" Roga answers. He walks over to the corps of Happs and searches it in hope of finding a map that can help them. "I think we need to rest before we give chase." Roga says to no one in particular. "Oleg are you and Svetlana hurt? and has the fort suffered more damage than the stables?" No problem Stellan. As long as it doesn't affect the party mechanics a little tension is a great base for character development. You're just playing your character as you think he should be played and that is fine with me. I'll let you know if I think it goes to far and you do the same if I get out of line. :D
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
My bad Stellan, I thought you were further away :D "I would gladly chase this bandit down but he has ahead start and alas I can't track him. So if an able tracker can help me I think we should give chase." Roga responds to Stellan's first suggestion. "And this raging hypocrite who like a word with you later regarding your craft winter witch. Just remember Grendolynn, didn't chose her parents, you chose your craft" Roga adds with anger lingering is his voice. Mumbling an almost silent incantation to Erastil, Roga's irises shine with a pulsation green light and he turns his gaze to Stellan. What's he doing:
Yes, He is casting detect evil. "Please tend to Elros." He continues in a milder tone of voice
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
After Grendolynn walks away from him, Roga walks up to her, put a hand on her shoulder. "Grendolynn was it? You know as well as I do that the clergy's primary mission in these lands is to help the small hamlets in the border lands including protecting them." Roga says perhaps a bit more harshly than intended and continues in a more friendly tone: "You are sincere and seem honest and I offer you my apologies, but please understand that many greenskins does not come in peace."
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Looking up from the bandit at Oleg, Roga shamefully lowers his head and answers: "No we didn't, I'm sorry, but we'll go after him. I will not leave you to fend for yourself." Not having noticed Grendolynn's race yet Roga turns his head aand yells: "Stellan, I need your help with this one." He then finnaly looks at Grendolynn, clearly shocked by the fact that there is a hobgoblin standing beside them, he lets the bandit go and stand up. With his hands on the hilt of his sword he asks:"Would you mind producing your charter? I don't have the best experiences with the green races."
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
Perception 1d20 ⇒ 20 Now the 20 comes oh thank you fickle dices "In time friend, you're safe now" Roga says to Elros.
Stellan, would you tend to this one, he might have important information. Roga yells
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
It might have been take one alive before the bastard almost killed us. As you put it diplomacy failed :D And to be fair he had the option to surrender before and during combat, but he chose to set the stables on fire. But in hindsight a live one would be nice and I do believe we have one entangled in the stable.
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
I'll give it a try Roga stands chest heaving over the corps of Happs. He finally realizes that one is getting away and graps his longbow and aims for a short time and let the arrow fly. 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0 The arrow flies wide not even close to the intended target. Out of combat:
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
"I'll rebuild the Fort once you have gone to meet your maker." Roga says with an icy chill in his voice. He steps up to Happs and while clearly in thrusts his sword against him. That will be a 5 ft step towards Happs followed by a standard attack. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 1) + 9 = 11
Male Human, Kellid Paladin/1
As the bandit tries to flee Roga utters: "O no you don't." and slashes upwards a the man. Attack of opportunity 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (6, 4) + 9 = 19 Possible crit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 Correct me if I am wrong calculating it wrong, total damage = 26 As Happs is 20 ft away, Roga decides to charge him. "The hunter hunts!" He yells as he charges: Charge 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 2d6 + 9 ⇒ (3, 1) + 9 = 13
