Rika flicks the blood on her blade away and surveys the battlefield. One one man remains; the one with parlor tricks up his sleeve and little else. She whistles and points at the man, partially hidden behind a cloud of smoke.

Ok, so I take my move, ready for Pratts to get in position, and then attack.

With an eye-roll at how useless her companion is, Rika shifts aside slightly, before going on the offensive.

Feinting with a thrust to his armpit, she follows by stomping upon the man's lightly armored foot, only to smash him in the jaw with the butt of her blade as he doubles down in pain, following it up with a vicious slash across his face. As he goes to clutch his face, she kicks at the side of his knee, attempting to snap the tendons, but taking advantage of her opponent's lack of balance to follow up with a blow aimed at the man's neck.

Rika bares her teeth in a feral snarl, sword drawn. "你抱着一堆鸟粪。当你看到我对你所做的事情时，你的祖先会哭泣。普拉茨！"

They left through the passageway under the house right? If so we'll follow that way.

Rika grunts with satisfaction, turning around to rush to the open window.

Red gets to take an AoO.

Rika briefly looks over her shoulder to assess Kensaku's situation. With a huff she emits a strange sound, half-whistle and half-chirp. Pratts interrupts his meal, cocks his head and looks towards the man Rika designates with her right hand, the grappling opponent.

Handle Animal (Attack): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Auto-success.

Pratts begins to snarl, but the look in his mistresses eyes leave no doubt as to his fate should he disobey. So he drops the body as he readies to pounce, as Rika meanwhile turns back to her opposing duo with barely contained fury.

The blow misses slicing the head clean off, but what grievous damage does it inflict?

Rika feels a moment of weakness but it quickly passes as she steps up and launches a flurry of attacks against the men hanging upside-down.

Rika snarls at the sounds of breaking glass and howling dinosaurs. Only she is allowed to do anything like that to Pratts. Calling upon mighty Stag, she moves around weapon drawn. "你們不光彩的玩具！我會剪掉你的頭，把它們系在腰帶上！"

Rika scowls. "He not say. Only that Samurai is big threat." She snorts. "You be the judicious. Rika deal with Samurai man."

As it seems noone else has any questions for the man, Rika puts the incontinent man to sleep using her fists.

Rika rises. "Put him in the sleep that is after pain. Golden league is here. Big samurai that has ferocity is lead. I no have questions for him."

Rika lowers her face down to the man's level and snorts loudly in his face. "你的死会让我感到羞耻。你太软弱无法被授予死亡。你会告诉我还有多少人会攻击我们，他们是谁，或者你将在后半生痛苦。"

Rika switches to another wand, then another. "This one has been lot beat up. Soup-creature is fearsome and strange."

Well I can make people feel better without the use of UMD. I am yin and yang. Healing and harming.

Rika looks at Shigeru as he begins to tie up one of the downed opponents. She then grabs her wand and begins healing their prospective prisoner.

Rika nudges one of the men who is merely unconscious with the toe of her boot.

"We wake up? I not have the salts that smell" she comments for all to hear as Pratts approaches, clearly hungry for a piece of fresh human.

Shifting her weapon to one hand, Rika does pull a wand of curative magic to use on Kensaku so as to expedite the process.

Rika points in the direction of Karasuma's opponent and bares her teeth.

Knowing the raptor will not risk her displeasure, Rika then stomps into the room with Darshan and Kensaku, lunging forwards with a vertical arc to dispatch the one after Darshan.

Rika takes advantage of the fact that her opponent isn't paying attention to attempt to slash at his leg!

If he's still considered flanked during the AoO, add 4 to that to hit. And a d6 damage.

Rika shifts to the side, looking to bring herself in position with her companion. Perhaps if I ride him... Maybe... she thinks to herself as she feints below the belt, then aims her thrust for the grappler's armpit.

Rika lunges at the one Pratts has already attacked, stomping down on one of his feet, slamming the hilt of the blade into his face before stepping back just enough to slash at the man's throat, calling on a different animal aspect as she realizes that her belt already provides her with great strength.

Switching to Aspect of the Snake, herp derp.

Pratts waits patiently for opponents to move forth as Rika utters a few words of power, giving her blade a certain heft as she steps forward to entice the villains to make their move, calling on the power of the mighty bull to empower her.

Pratts (whom I should make an alias for at this point) will delay, Rika casts Lead Blades and steps up, using a swift to use her Aspect of the Bull.

Forgive me if I am dense here but am I mistaken in thinking I have 10 minutes or less on each the barskins cast?

Pratts and Rika both have the same Barkskin, lasting 70 minutes by my count. I was under the impression that 45 minutes had passed total. Was I mistaken?

Have 45 or 30 minutes elapsed? Doesn't change anything for me in the immediate future, but I'd like to know.

Rika focuses inwardly after having stepped in front of the main door in, weapon drawn. Inwardly, she seeks out Pratts, their bond strong because of their desire to pits each other's will against one another. She focuses deeply, and call upon the spirit of the mighty bull, superimposing it on the raptor. Within seconds, the beast's muscles begin to bulk and bulge under the scales. She opens her eyes, checks on the creature's positioning before focusing her intent back on the door.

Come. Come. My blade is thirst.

Rika grunts and turns the flesh underneath Karasuma's plumage to the consistency of bark.

Just slightly adjusted myself. Going to cast Resinous Skin on myself as well, and give Pratts a Barkskin.

Rika moves back down the stairs and informs her companions: "Boat is gone. They here soon. We to ready. Tell me if you want skin of bark."

And this is a baby catapult, correct?

So, just to be clear; from where Rika stands, she can see what could perhaps be construed as a boat fire, as in maybe Grandpa got his boat set aflame. How far off is that?

Rika jumps to her feet, the subtleties and nuances displayed by the old man not something she has mastered. Or perhaps learned. "普拉特！隐藏" she barks at the velociraptor, who begins to slink into the shadows of the room as his master grabs her no-dashi from the ground on which it lays. "We attacked is!" She grunts irritably, the words not sounding as they should. "This is attacked. We need look, see and I need KILL enemies who attack."

And with those words uttered, she begin to move towards the highest point of the building, a room she has spent way too much time in. The lighthouse, along with the installed catapult.

Once Rika is up there, what can she see? Let me know if I need to make any rolls to spot our future victims. Also, Rika is casting Barkskin on herself.

Rika pauses, thinking back upon her many missions, adventures in which she has done much good, protecting moreso than killing.

Should we place ourselves where in particular on the map? I also took the liberty of placing the catapult in the light-tower as that seemed to be the consensus.

Rika, aping both Amara Li and Tsuneo, takes a seat besides her Venture Captain, her sheathed blade set to the side uncomfortably. With one of her looks and a quick battle of wills, the raptor slinks and grovels behind her.

"我丽卡没有鬼。 我是开拓者协会的一个丑陋的刀片。 深切" she intones, wondering perhaps if she might be too harsh in her dealing with the old man.

Rika bows formally in acknowledgement and begins marching towards the dock, Pratts the raptor in tow.

Rika sighs. "I go get the rock. If want come, come" she grunts as she goes to collect ammunition according to Karasuma's indications.

No other prep here.

Rika paces irritably, keeping an eye and ear out for anything out of place.

Rika frowns at the sorcery displayed, allowing for a blob creature to become a master carpenter but does not voice any concern. Satisfied with what she's done, she takes a seat, saying: "Catapult should be on high in tower."

Ready to move on.

Anything else that would come to Rika's mind with regards to turning this meeting place into a Tucker's Kobold's run? I don't know what else I could do and I don't want to be caught with Rika's kimono down because I was too aloof to think of something to do that was blatantly put before me earlier on.

Rike, once satisfied with the barricades erected goes to find the bear traps the others found and begins to set them at the bottom of teh secret passageway.

Any particular roll needed here?

I believe that our tengu friend was going to deal with rebuilding the catapult. I put the barricades on the second floor because we can always retreat there and it offers the most possible escapes. Also, if I were a cool ninja assassin, I would totally come through the second floor. It's also the easiest to completely barricade off.

Rika shakes her head moodily. "I not have the objections. But important to make catapult. You make. I move things." And without further ado, she begins to block off certain rooms and windows with the old furniture.

Let me know if you have any suggestions about where to place them. I've already put some down.

Rika, finally done with her designated area, comes barreling down, her nostrils wide and breathing heavily, like an angry bull. "I find nothing. We fortify? I find catapult in pieces. Maybe we put on top of lighthouse. Also beartrap. Much beartrap."

How would someone with no crafting skills go about fortifying the lighthouse? Is this left to our own inspiration and imagination, or are there specific avenues the scenario expects us to go down?

Rika continues to inspect the lighthouse with increasing exasperation.

I'll wait for the time being. I'm already 15 minutes into the future aren't I? Do we have a clear view as to what's been/being searched?

Can I take further actions?

I'm not in a hurry, but I am concerned; is everyone OK?

Rika stops, frowning. Something within her does not feel comfortable leaving rooms unsearched. With a Sigh, she begins checking through the room she is in, before checking whatever it is that lies beyond the trapdoor above.

Rika points at the stairs up. "We check. Quick." And without waiting very long for a response, she heads up the stairs to the trapdoor.

Is it possible to take ten with our Perception checks on this first pass?

Rika looks back at her companions, trying to recall which one of them had the keenest eye. We need to move through and check the entire lighthouse quickly before getting down to details. I wonder if the others are of the same opinion...
