PWGM, everyone, I've been debating this for a while & I am going to bow out.
Particularly given the additional hours I know I will be working for the next several months, I am deeply over committed.
The fact that I essentially have myself playing two characters isn't helping.
It has been a lot of fun, but I simply no longer have the resources needed to commit.
Good luck & have fun all.

Rookie

Both I & my computer seem to have come down with something. I will try to post later today.

Will do!

Shaking her head in self-recrimination, Rigor turns & makes her way to the nearest dollar-house cinema. Once there, she buys a ticket for the next movie playing, where she makes herself 'comfortable' in the darkened recesses of the back.
There, she relaxes...

Rookie

Sorry all. Been busy with work. I am fine with whatever happens. I will try to post to gameplay later today/tonight with a better idea of what Rigor is doing between now & when she finally 'reverts'.

Rookie

Sorry I haven't posted in a a while. In answer to the question regarding how 'stealthily' Rigor is returning to the base, well, her plan is to make it to a place calm enough that she sill revert back to Tracy before returning, sorry if I hadn't made that plain.
Since by her very nature, she only reverts back in -non- threatening circumstances, she is unlikely to bring back a 'tail'...
or at least she thinks it is unlikely; neither of them are stupid, but neither of them are exceptional thinkers.

As to the possibility of our base being compromised...
well, while I like either idea, I am also okay with our characters having to learn some hard lessons from our overconfidence. If they wind up being fatal lessons...
to quote Xykon, 'We're the villains, we play rough'.

And why does Rigor sidle slyly down the side street?

Because A) right now we are a groupmob of five obviously super-powered individuals making our way from point a to point b & that sort of thing gets noticed. (Yes, I know there are actually six of us, Imagine is invisible & therefore doesn't count.) >:P

Also B) Rigor is a rather abrasive personality & I needed a bit of a break from her & her dealing with the other characters, so I figured since she is often rather bored with non-violent situations, she is likely to 'ramp-down' to Tracy soon & both of them have just enough sense of self-preservation to not necessarily want the others to witness when/how that happens. This is still no more than 24 hours after the beginning of the campaign & nobody has really earned each other's trust just yet. She doesn't necessarily distrust the rest of them, but death is awfully permanent when you aren't superpowered...

Rolling her eyes & shaking her head mildly at Imagines antics, Rigor moves not so much stealthily down the streets, but as a person so obviously at home wherever she was that for her to be anywhere else was unthinkable, and if she belonged there, then obviously her presence wasn't worthy of comment or recollection.

Rookie

Sorry I have missed out posting the last few days. I came down with a flu bug Thursday night & have alternated bed-ridden with being violently ill in the bathroom since then. Feeling better now.

Rookie

"You go on, I'll catch up." Rigor nods acknowledgement of & agreement with the group consensus before making her way down one of the side streets.

Rookie

Spirit: 1d8 ⇒ 2, wild: 1d6 ⇒ 2
That would be nope & nope.

Rookie

She couldn't even use it twice with that power, unless she took the repeat rider as well & I think that kicks the cost up to six PP or so..
Still, thanks for posting it.

Tracy with Connections would be an unholy threat to all that is good & true...
Tempting...

Rookie

Quick & Luck I can see. Connections...

Connections would have made perfect Sense for Belle, not so much for Rigor.
I know there was a combat edge that allowed you to make an attack against all enemies in proximity to you & that would make perfect sense for her, I just don't recall the name of it or the prerequisites. I'm not terribly worried, there are four more advancements before we get to Seasoned, I'm mostly just aggravated that I misplaced my copy & I really can't justify spending money on a new one at the moment.

Rookie

Well, as I still can't find my Explorer's Edition of the base Rules & I am not overly impressed with those Edges I am eligible for just yet, I will follow the trend & up my Spirit Die to d8.

Rookie

Given that Rigor's strength isn't yet d12, this doesn't yet apply, but once it is does this mean the only way to increase it will be with PP?

Rookie

I have a question. Snake Charmer's background implies to me that her powers are magical in nature, so Rigor would be just as vulnerable to them as anyone else. Is that accurate?

Rookie

Rigor smirks tauntingly at the ''sugar spleen' comment.

Rookie

"Oh, I like him." Rigor snorts. Lazily, she rolls her head to gaze sardonically at their 'fearsome leader', "Well?"

That's easy, the Crow.

Rookie

"You think?"

Shouldering past him, Rigor hefts the largest, least damaged bag she can find & begins stuffing it with what cash & goods are recoverable.

Do they even allow games that aren't Pathfinder to be played here?

Yes.

Rookie

Sorry. I had not had time to review the changes from SPC to SPC2 yet. It sounds interesting & I don't have objections.
Of course, I suppose that still places me in the 'meh' category, [/i]technically.[/i]

Rookie

I have family in town until Saturday
My posting will be curtailed until then.

Rookie

Not sure if you are waiting on an agility roll from me, or an action declaration...
Agility: 1d6 ⇒ 5, wild die: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Her size & mass interfering with the speed of her own response to the inevitable violence, still, Rigor slams a fist into 'twitchy's' jaw.

fighting: 1d12 ⇒ 6, wild die: 1d6 ⇒ 2

{Sorry, wasn't clear. We are basically in a/an (insert nationality here) standoff. If you want to start the party, or if someone else starts something and you want to act before them then I will need the Agility roll. Mechanically the first actor's roll sets the target number to beat in order to act before them. Simply talking and taking a step or two is not enough to force us into combat rounds. Clearer?}

Much, thank you.

"Harder men than you have tried, sweet boy."

Rookie

Agility: 1d6 ⇒ 3, Wild Die: 1d6 ⇒ 1
...
Well then. So much for that idea...

As 'Twitchy' begins his schpeil & 'miss middle East' slithers up to Imagine, the muscle freak steps into 'Twitchy's' personal space. "Now why you gotta be like that?"
"Calling me part of his,"
nodding to Carl, "harem? Really?"

As the interplay between her 'leader' & this new meat plays out, the statuesque half breed closes her eyes, shaking her head fractionally in a combination of bemusement & the kind of incredulity you only get when you witness Imagine doing things that by all rights should get her killed...
but don't.
Crossing her arms menacingly, she steps behind Carl in a clear 'do not f~+~ with this individual' stance.

Rookie

Hey all. Sorry for the radio silence, last few days at work I have made it home simply wiped. I suppose that is what mixing close to a tone of concrete 'by hand' will do to you when you don't on a regular basis...

I have no objections to either route, but it sounds as though we may have already chosen one.

Rookie

Sighing, the statuesque half-breed begins unfolding fingers as she points out flaws or simple observations. "Either of you call me 'honeybun' again and things are going to happen, not pleasant things either."
"Flattering as it is, you also have an inflated idea of my physical strength. I can bench a motorcycle, with a belt & prep, that doesn't mean I can throw one, much less a car. Nothing hurts me. Not the same thing as 'I can lift anything'."
"All that said, throwing our weight around isn't the worst idea I've heard from you today."

Rookie

Silently, the statuesque woman shoulders past Carl to saunter down the street.

Rookie

Rolling muscles you didn't even know people had, Rigor follows her out the door.

Rookie

From my point of view, everything which Atlas2112 stated is sufficiently accurate that I see nothing to be gained by arguing the fine points.

All I am waiting on is either Carl's response or a scene change, Rigor is sufficiently sure of herself that she might not even wait for Carl to react...
Oh wait, Imagine is already heading out.

Rookie

Yeah, I guess I just always assumed they were on the same 'frequency'. I think the last game I was in, the GM had it operate that way & they might have been part of it.
No worries. If it wasn't already clear, Rigor likes having a bullseye on her chest.

"It's going to take a lot more than sweet talk to get into my bed." The giantess states flatly as she grasps Carl's hand just firmly enough not to break bones. Turning to Imagine, "in the immortal words of one of the last great criminal warlords, 'everything beautiful bleeds'. I will answer to 'Rigor'."
Releasing Carl's hand at Imagine's suggestion of investigating the Vmap, Rigor does so. "As good a step to getting our feet wet as any." She shrugs, seemingly nonchalantly.

Rookie

So, in spite of specifically wanting a name that didn't require explanation & only had one or two syllables, I almost went with T.T.D. (Test to Destruction), but then it occurred to me to do a Thesaurus check to see if there were any comparatively short words that were synonyms for Hardness, since, as I had already told PWGM, this gal is very much an inspiration for the character/s. Then I thought of Fury & was all set to go with that...
until I was informed that there is already a messageboard alias by that name.
So I went back to the drawing board & narrowed it down between Rigor, Toil & Trial. But I'm going with Rigor, in spite of the fact it has two syllables (I really wanted just one, I'm sorry, but the two defining bricks in comicbooks both have one syllable names...), because it just feels better to me.
Anyway, here she is.

Imagine:
'If you want to keep all your internal organs...
internal, don't make the mistake of thinking she & I are the same person, we aren't.'

Oddly enough, you realize she is communicating with you via her own Telepathy, rather than yours.

Head cocked at Carl's cockiness, Rigor leans down & in. "You think too small. Even 'Cutie' here," nodding to Imagine, "put more thought into her plan than 'money for smack'."
"You're right,"
she acknowledges to the other villainess, "if she had the guts, Tracy could very likely have damn near anyone she wanted eating out of her hand. It's just as well she doesn't or I'd be stuck there in that nut longer & more often than I already am."
"She,"
Rigor's contempt for Tracy is plain, "thought you were figuring her to help with matters in a more...
forceful manner."
As Rigor straightens, you all realize that the clothes she is wearing are the same ones Tracy was wearing mere seconds before, though possibly even more ill-fitting, in the opposite direction. You can see every chorded muscle & sinew, with only just enough body fat to proclaim her as female.

Rookie

Before any of you can react, she is gone. Where she was, there now stands a corded-muscled figure of statuesque, even Amazonian proportions.
"She meant me." The titanic woman growls.

Rookie

I was actually waiting on Heaven's Chancellor to make some manner of post, but if you want to move events along, feel free.

Rookie

Works for me.

Rookie

I do not.

Rookie

So definitely the kind of 'high end' tech toy a guy might give to his trophy girlfriend...

Rookie

Deep in the back of Tracy's mind, a coiled presence stirs...

'Just let me out you chickenshit little girlie. I'll show these clowns what's what!'

Rookie

If they are uniquely distinctive, she keeps hers stashed somewhere. If they can be explained away as 'just something my rich ex-boyfriend gave me', she will be wearing it.

The Avatar reflects a slight figure, check

So we have a slight figure, apparently female, attempting to speak to the group from inside the former meat plant.

At least that is what I am seeing.

The "Who is" and "Are you" questions cannot be answered form the information at hand.

I'm, yeah. Those were what I meant.
