![]() Let's say im casting a: 1 - Normal Fireball, it deal fire damage and has the fire descriptor 2 - Half Cold Half Fire, Fireball with the Elemental spell (Metamagic) feat, It deals 50% fire and 50% cold damage and carries Both fire and Cold descriptors 3 - Full cold damage Fireball with the Elemental Spell (Metamagic) Feat, it deals cold damage and has Fire and Cold descriptor or only the cold descriptor? Elemental Spell (Metamagic):
You can manipulate the elemental nature of your spells.
Benefit: Choose one energy type: acid, cold, electricity, or fire. You may replace a spell’s normal damage with that energy type or split the spell’s damage, so that half is of that energy type and half is of its normal type. Level Increase: +1 (an elemental spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.) Special: You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time you must choose a different energy type. The feat doenst say the spell loses the old descriptor even when you fully replaces the damage with a new one. Another exemple here: Benthic Spell (Metamagic): Explorers in the depths of the Arcadian Ocean have learned that deadly pressure can be just as lethal as any flame.
Benefit: You can modify a spell that deals acid, cold, electricity, or fire damage to deal damage through high-pressure water instead. The spell gains the water descriptor, and you can either replace the spell’s normal damage with bludgeoning damage or split the spell’s damage so that half is bludgeoning and half is of its normal type. Creatures with damage reduction apply their damage reduction to bludgeoning damage from a benthic spell, but the spell counts as bludgeoning and magic for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction. A benthic spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level. ![]()

![]() So, lets assume i have access to the all of the folowing abilities: - Spell combat + spell strike (Magus)
I have some questions about what does and what doesnt stack as a part of a full-attack action 1) Flurry (And unchained flurry) doenst stack with ANYTHING from the list, becuse its a diferent full-attack action from the standard 2) Ligthning strike and wild figthning stacks with anything other than flurry (and unchained) 3) If i have as a mutation warrior the extra limb discovery i can make a Spellcombat+ spell strike action while wielding a one-handed weapon as a two-handed weapon (meaning full attack with the two-handed plus 1 extra attack from spell strike) 3.1) If i have ALSO another extra limb, i can make attacks with the two-weapon figthning light off-hand in place of the spell combat action, meaning 1- full attack with the two-handed + off hand, or 2-full attack with the two-handed + 1 extra two-handed attack for spellstrike 3.2) i dont even need 4 limbs, i can have 3 limbs, two wielding a one-handed as a two-handed , let go the grip with one limb to cast spellcombat (as a free action) regrasp to make the atacks (as a free action), while still holding (not attacking) with the light weapon on the 3rd limb 4) Spellstrike only grants me ONE extra attack, no matter how many attacks or rays (With Close Range magus arcana) i can make with the spell 5) Its impossible to use flurry of blows (or unchained) while making a "normal" full-attack action, to add the wild figthning and ligthning strike extra attacks 5.1) and/or spell combat 5.2) And/or two-weapon figthning (unchained flurry) 6) Unchained flurry allows me to use a two-handed weapon dealing 1,5x str on dmg, normal flurry lets me use a two-handed and twf with it, but only using 1 time str on dmg ![]()
![]() Does the Dreadnought barbarian Dead Calm also cuts the bonuses from Greater and Mighty rage by half? Meaning +1/+1 on str/cons on each one of the usual +2/+2 I would think that it doens't, because the level 1(dead calm) ability only alter Rage, meaning the base +4/+4 rage, not the +2/+2 increases from greater and mitghy rage. Many other paizo Archetypes proved that Mighty and Greater rage a separeted abilities from Rage all together, by not granting then when you get Rage (Like the viking for figther or wild stalker for ranger), so considering you are able to get rage and not Mighty or greater rage from other places, i would assume that a ability that alter Rage doens't alter Migthy or greater rage. Am i worng? ![]()

![]() Starting at 5th level, a gunslinger can select one specific type of firearm (such as an axe musket, blunderbuss, musket, or pistol). She gains a bonus equal to her Dexterity modifier on damage rolls when firing that type of firearm. Furthermore, when she misfires with that type of firearm, the misfire value of that firearm increases by 2 instead of 4. Every four levels thereafter (9th, 13th, and 17th), the gunslinger picks up another type of firearm, gaining these bonuses for those types as well. At 5th level, a savage technologist adds her Dexterity modifier to her damage rolls when making ranged attacks with a firearm while raging. This ability replaces improved uncanny dodge. Does this mean double dex on dmg with firearms? ![]()
![]() Not only that, my main concern ins't the once per day, but the damage reduction Old :Each round of rage you spend reduces the attack’s damage by your raging Constitution bonus, but cannot reduce the damage taken below 1 hit point. New : Each round of rage you spend reduces the attack's damage by 1 point, but cannot reduce the damage taken below 1 hit point. You can see that this ins't a error by the examples Old: For example, if you are raging, have a raging Constitution score of 18, are currently at 2 hit points, and are hit for 20 hit points of damage (which is enough to bring you to –18 hit points, killing you), you may spend 1 round of rage to reduce the damage by 4 (leaving you perilously close to death at –14 hit points); if you spend 5 rounds of rage, you reduce the damage to 1 (the minimum), leaving you with 1 hit point. New: For example, if you are raging, have a raging Constitution score of 18, are currently at 2 hit points, and take 20 hit points of damage from a hit (which is enough to bring you to –18 hit points, thereby killing you), you may spend 1 round of rage to reduce the damage by 1 hit point (leaving you perilously close to death at –17 hit points); if you spend 17 rounds of rage, you reduce the damage to 1 (the minimum), leaving you with 1 hit point. Imo this feat has gone from a must have to pure garbage =/ ![]()

![]() First of all, sorry about my english, it's not my native language Since Swordsage was converted to Pathfinder i was wondering about a warblade conversion Warblade it's a Figther/barbarian mix considering a simpler view, and the few diferences on this classes from 3.5 to pathfinder are:
Since there's no rage on warblade and levels 4/8/10/12/14/16/18/19 are open my idea it's:
So my questions are:
