With the command given and their target in sight, Reinald raises his bolter, utters a subtle pledge, then squeezes the trigger as he runs forward. 1st Attack, BS 43+5: 1d100 ⇒ 23 2 degrees success

Damned Warp cursed, lost another ally... Reinald thinks to himself before the arrival of the descendant of Sanguinus. "Leonidas, join with us now Brother, as we bring glorious battle to the infidels assaulting this land. We will help you seek out your chapter after."

Awareness (46+5+20): 1d100 ⇒ 59
Initiative: 1d10 ⇒ 7 Reinald's eyes noticed the beast just as Viluf began to identify the tyranid horror hiding above. Drawing down his bolter on the beast, he unleashed a flurry of bolt rounds at the creature's exoskeleton, hoping to assist his comrades in destroying the beast swiftly and decisively. Bolter, semi-auto (43+10semi+5squad+10xeno): 1d100 ⇒ 67

Reinald has remained quiet as the interplay with the Inquisitorial assassin played out. He focused on attuning himself to the biometric readings of his companions, ensuring that everyone was functioning at optimal levels. A healthy Astartes is a successful Astartes... no need to let Chaos worm its way in... As Gaius offers the direction, Reinald nods in agreement. "Let's get mobile then, lest we loose any time. Onward, Brothers!"

Seeing the large wound he cleaved into Einar's arm, Reinald stops his moves, salutes with his knife, then sheaths it. "It would seem our honor is intact, son of the Wolf. Know me now as comrade, and we will stand united against the agents of darkness." ---------------------------------------- Indeed, we only lack an assault marine and a techmarine. A melee dedicated could be useful, especially against 'nids. If there is anyone on the boards that you want to pull in, I say go for it.

I had been thinking 3 wounding hits initially, but given the lethality of Space Marines, that would likely kill even another Space Marine, so I guess 3 wounds probably makes more sense, suggesting the first real, meaningful wound. I don't know, what do you think?

okay, so damage for my one hit
The space wolf stoicly blocks Reinald's initial overhand blow, but leaves himself open and Reinald spins away, slashing open a large wound on the Fenrisian's right arm. Excerpt from Core Rulebook, pg 244 On a successful hit, the attacker needs to determine where the hit landed. Using the percentile dice result from the attacker’s Weapon Skill or Ballistic Skill Test, reverse the order of the digits (e.g. a roll of 32 becomes 23, a roll of 20 becomes 02, and so on) and compare this number to Table 8–2: Hit
You flip the numbers, then look at the chart, so your "04" becomes a 40, thus hitting me in the body. Parry(WS45): 1d100 ⇒ 73 ---------------------------

initiative: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Standing closely within the ceremonial ring, each of the Battle Brothers stands, bare-chested, blade in hand. Okay, nothing formal published for "standard ammo" cost. How much for a clip of bolter ammo? Given that a bolt pistol or bolter itself is 5 req, say 1 Req per clip?

@Radavel, to your question on ammo counts, have you decided what the phrase "come with a sufficient supply of standard ammunition for the weapon" is? Given this seems like a long-term deployment onto this world and ammo could be a concern, are you using the "general rule, the GM may opt to use the “rule of three,” meaning that each Space Marine has three reloads for each ranged weapon unless otherwise noted" as referenced in the errata? If so, it may be wise for us to spend extra requisition on even basic ammo (though it would need to be assigned a value then). @Einar, shall we play out the duel here?

Reinald's fingers wrap calmly around the pistol grip of his bolter. Leveling it toward the enemy forces, he feels the familiar lines of the weapon fall comfortably into his hands. The weapon is a Mk IIIa, an older pattern common among the Fallen, especially the Consecrators. Uttering a silent prayer to the machine-spirit of the weapon, he unleashes a burst of fire at the enemy forces. "May the Emperor claim the faithless." Semi Auto Burst (BS 43+10+10): 1d100 ⇒ 61 1 DoS, +1 extra hit vs hordes[/dice] damage: 2d10 + 9 ⇒ (5, 6) + 9 = 20 [ooc]6+9= 15, pen 4

Reinald listens to the proposals his battle brothers offer. Looking directly at the two bearers of the Canis Helix, he responds, "I did not realize the Wolves of Fenris were always so ready to go run and hide from the front line. Don't worry, the Sons of the Lion do not shy from a foe..." After but a moment's pause, and a nod of respect to the Space Wolves (suggesting it was only in jest), he continues, "The layered assault makes sense, and the elevated position could prove beneficial for control of the field. That said, Viluf, your Heavy Bolter fired on the move would be an intimidating sight for our foes. Combined with a frontal assault and sniper fire from an unknown position, we may be more successful in delivering the mighty hammer of the emperor."

The falling rain washed across the archaic set of power armour, turning his crimson robes a dark, haunting red. His ceramite plates had required no repainting upon beginning the Long Watch, the hallowed colours of the Consecrators aligning with those of his new duty. Following the others out of the drop pod, his archaic power armour moving smoothly across his ruined cathedral, Reinald took stock of everyone's current condition. Five brethren, two bearing the Canis Helix, two others the clean line of Guilliman, the last... I must prepare to care for each... Squad Mode Falling into formation with the others, Reinald readies his bolter, and looks to his brethren. "May the Emperor guide us. Let us be on with it."

Apothecary here. Hotel's wifi has been crap the last 36 hours so I am posting via my cell phone. It's making finishing the updates to my avatar difficult. Got it all set to go but on my laptop. Have to travel to another location this evening, should have better wifi there... hopefully.
Ok, this is my avatar for my Consecrator Apothecary. Still working through filling in the avatar and requisitions. A little confused on requisitions as several of the other characters have weapons that require higher than base Renown rating. Care to clarify? Also, going to take the Deed Initiate of Secrets. Just feel like you have to have that extra little Fallen Angel piece as a Dark Angel.
