Razul shrugs.
"I have become aware of certain things and I have come here to ensure that your discretion about our presence is intact."
Razul looks annoyance at the guard, but acquiesces and hands over his sword and unstraps his wrist sheath.
"Let's be off. Gamsey gets antsy sometimes." With that Razul heads to Gamsey's place.
"No, just if something happens, one of us could escape to warn the others."
"I need to see Gamsey and make sure our presence remains discrete. Does anyone wish to come? We should perhaps being alone with these bounty hunters in the area."
Not a problem, it was confusing from the first time. Remember, Razul is a stone cold killer, that's it. He recognizes your authority only because of Thorn. His low CHA is more of a result of his cold, dismissive attitude of others as well as extreme arrogance. He is quite certain that no one is a match for him one on one. I will keep in mind the character stuff, like I said, it appeared that it was you personally that responded the first time. No harm, no foul.
So, apparently you can be insulting both in and out of character, but God forbid if we respond in kind?
To refresh your memory, here is how you responded when we made in game thoughts. "Hey now, my character has higher total mental state than yours, and has briefly explained his own actions and reasonings whereas you have simply made ad hominem attacks on the one designated as your leader.
But you started the whole thing off with this: "we'd be better off forging something ourself out of it, but more importantly what are you idiots dooing out here"he says, picking up his fallen comrade.
"Perhaps you should watch your tone, we aren't the ones who disappeared with no notice." Razul says in response to Wade's unwarranted admonishment. "we were protecting the group by eliminating a threat he says carefully putting down the Orc before pointing at the fire "you were allowing that to happen, and it's far from the worst that could have happened, without you there to stop him, perhaps fatally, he could have just left us all there." he then sprints for the boat, aparently done with conversation. "Not very bright is he?" Razul opines as he heads for the boat.
You (personally, not your character) blew a gasket when we dressed you down about disappearing without notice during the seal hunt. You then went on about intelligence. As to your supposition about the stats, you do realize the difference between 14 and 16 is much more significant than the difference between 10 and 12? The 3-18 stat range is a bell curve. The difference between 10 and 12 is just a few percentage points. A 14 INT is moderately above average, while a 16 borders on the genius range. You should also pay attention to the posts. I was responding to the captain's dialogue which obviously happened well before yours.
"He yields he says." Razul says with a wicked smile.
Round 2 A look of annoyance crosses his face as Razul's blade fails to drop the soldier on the first try. He swings again and then moves towards the captain. He will forgo defense this time as he wants to make sure he puts him down.

Razul steps over to the other soldier and cuts him down before he can act also. actions:
5' step. Full attack using PA and CE.

Razul steps out of hiding next to one of the soldiers.

Razul remains still and watches. He especially keeps an eye on the leader as he marks him first for death.

I think we will take a day to all go together for the ambush.
"Perhaps some other good news as well." Razul informs the others.
When they get together later, Razul gives them the options for dwellings.
"In addition, I have some more information. The garrison of the citadel is about 100. Aside from the commander, the four main officers are Captain Ryan Varning who commands the patrols. He is an adept woodsman and horseman. Captain Eddarly is known for his looks and has reputation as a lady's man. Captain Mott is married and more settled, his wife's name is Kaitlyn. And finally, Captain Barhold , who is a lush. Not surprising as his brother is the owner of the Lord's Dalliance, Bellam Barhold."
"Bracnos, I would suggest going to the Lord's Dalliance, it would be the best place to pick up gossip and information." Razul gives Bracnos a description and directions to the inn.
"Just suggestions on my part. I leave the final decisions to Wade. It's been awhile since I've been here, but I can act as a contact for Gamsey."
"Ah, Aldencross, it's been a while." Razul exclaims as they near the outskirts of the town.
We are away from the Bugbears now, so no giving it to them and we are on a time constraint as well.
"Nice haul here." Razul tells the others as he drags out the lockbox. Coming out, he notices Yurik's new "revelation" and gives him a hard look for deception.
He then returns to the cabin for a more thorough search.
When all of the sailors are taken care of, Razul will head to the captain's cabin to search for the money he was paid.
Razul nods his thanks to Lillith.
Finished with theatrics, Razul now concentrates solely on Kargeld. His sword becomes a blurring series of swings, further adding to his defense. He tries to determine how wounded Kargeld is. actions:
Full attack so I get my defensive parry bonus, still using power attack and combat expertise.

Round 2? Razul suddenly blurs into a whirling display of martial prowess. His moves defy human anatomy. All who see him realize the utter futility of crossing blades with him and are demoralized. actions:
5' step. Full round action to Dazzling Display. If successful vs Kargeld, swift action (using Hurtful feat) to attack with Power Attack and Combat Expertise.

If so, Razul moves to the center of the boat, drawing his sword as he moves.
Razul waits for the first sign to initiate the ambush. He immediately charges Kargeld. actions:
partial charge on surprise round so he is flanking with Bracnos, drawing sword as he moves. Using power attack and combat expertise.

We still need him to get us where we are going. I think when we arrive we attack, kill them all, strip the boat of valuables (don't forget the payment he was given), and then shove it off.
"If they are not strong enough to defend against you, then they deserve their fates. The natural order must be restored. If that means it must come at Bugbear hands, then so be it. It has nothing to do with being human or not. I am human, yet I have no doubt that I can best anyone here when crossing swords. The problem in Talingarde is that they have forgotten their place."

Razul watches in bemused silence. However, he keeps a watchful eye out for any sort of trickery. He also keeps a hand on the hilt of his sword in an implied threat of immediate violence if someone should cross him.
Razul hops lightly from the boat. He eyes the bugbears trying to determine whether they have any real authority or if they are just guards.
First, you character does not have a "higher" mental state. The comments made were "idiot" and "not very bright" all of which refer to intelligence. Note Razul has a higher Int than Wade. Second, Razul will not take insults lightly especially from someone who, in his opinion, screwed up. Lastly, just because we decided to have you as leader, does not mean we are your lackeys, the leader position is out of respect and perceived power (and CHA scores played a part too). Acting in a way to diminish both of those would jeopardize that decision. After all, none of us are nice people. As to ad hominem, I think you opened that door when you called us all idiots. And Wade did not hear Razul (unless he has unusually good hearing?) as Razul is giving Wade a chance to not go too far.
