Roll for DM:
Mystery Roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

DM Rolls:

Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Ouch..

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

So then a little retconning...

Wincing from the solid blow, but satisfied that he is on his face, she leaps on top of him as he begins stands up. They will kill my companions if I fail.

Her wrist dagger stabs at him as he stands back up.

AoO attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
AoO damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

"We can play by your cheap rules if you want, Auchs, but remember, I've offered them a chance at a new life. What do you have?"

Her other hand draws her shortsword and slices down at him.

Regular Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Regular Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Lo.. the dice gods have seen fit to end my reign as quickly as they give it..

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Wincing from the solid blow, Raven starts to second guess her decision. Hesitation kills. Recovering from her revery she quickly leaps backwards away from the giant man and her wrist daggers pop out. No AoO for Raven for him attempting to get back up?

"That was a good hit, but you said no weapons. You cheated. This fight is over."

Diplomacy? Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Can I still keep that readied trip?

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven's stubborness and her honor are at stake here, and so she is more than willing to accept the challenge, defeat or not. Any surreptitious help would be appreciated though ;-)

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven's honor depends on this fight. She will keep that Trip readied as she speaks.

Raven shakes her head. "My friends, Auchs has challenged me and I accepted. If I am found wanting, then let another leader step forth."

She turns to Auchs. "If you want to be boss Auchs, you're gonna have to earn it."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

”Hey! You said boss fight. She's not the boss, leave her out of it. I offered to help you and you still want to fight. I'm right here.”

Raven faces Auchs, no weapons drawn.

ready to trip if he charges..
Trip: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven walks over to Auchs, showing no fear. "Auchs, please, Dovan tried to hurt me earlier after ordering you to leave, even though you were content to keep playing with your knights. He claimed to be my friend and yours and he hurt us both. Would a friend do that? Come, let me help you gather up your knights."

Diplomacy Assist: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Figures...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Considering the circumstances, Raven fully intends on remaining the 'Stag Mistress', at least for the time being. As far as convincing them to move away from banditry, Raven is way ahead of that.. but I'll leave that for IC. Other than what the ex-bandits themselves own, Raven also plans on finding whatever else the Stag Lord had and sharing that with our group as well.

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

"I will. In the meantime, I have some gifts." Raven shows her companions the weapons she procured.

Rapier +1, Mighty Composite +2 Longbow +1, Masterwork Longsword

"While I can not use these, the money for them would go a long way towards helping me and my men rebuild and re-purpose this place. However, I offer them to you first. Once the party settles down, I am going to check my room for anything else that might be of use."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven nods in agreement. "You are correct to be sure, but for the foreseeable future, these men revere me and if I am gone for too long that could change. I have to set some things in order before we leave in the morning."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven gives Kazz her by-now-famous half smile. "These men need direction. They are used to having to take what others have earned, now they are going to earn for themselves. There is a whole land out here that the Brevish charter explained needed to be explored. Their skills will allow us to have a good set of eyes and ears down here as well as muscle should we need it. Besides," she pauses to consider her words, "I'm sure Brevoy isn't the only government interested in settling down here. These men could keep those other interlopers out of our hair."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven smiles when she sees the rest of her companions. Quickly she waves them over to her side.

"That went better than expected, I think. The Stag Lord is dead and we have the run of the place. These men are now in my employ and I am going to see to it that they make good use of their skills from now on. We are at the very edge of your charters and I should think having an ally this far south would be a boon to our endeavors, yes?"

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

I'm sorry, but I have to.... Telepathic communication... Telekinetic is long range touch...unless you read Braille on each other ;-)

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Rolls for GM

Spoiler:

Know Local: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

"Dusk it is then." Raven wishes good fortune to the rest of her companions and trundles off with Kenaniah in tow when dusk comes.

Rolls and stuff are above in case you missed them GM

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven nods. ” As much as I appreciate your concern Kazz, I'm a big girl. If Kenaniah should prove to be less than honest, I have ways of dealing with him. ”

As if to emphasize her point, she runs a finger along the blade attached to her wrist.

for when it's time to go to the front:

GM:

After taking extra time making sure she looks like a proper bandit, Raven puts on one of the stag pins to complete the outfit. Satisfied with her disguise, she prepares Kenaniah for the ruse.

”We rescued his grog from an attack on Kressle's camp. We came here to give it to him and warn him of a unit of soldiers searching the countryside for his lair. Ideally, he will send patrols out, lessening the number that our compatriots have to deal with.”

After getting the nod of approval from him, they will make their way to the front gate and present the same story.

Disguise: 20 + 6 = 26
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

"There!", Raven exclaims, satisfied with her work. "This should do it."

Carefully she portions it into the alcohol.

"Now to get it inside."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

yep, just waiting on results of searching

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Which is why I hadn't rolled yet. Once we are out of range, Raven will look around for those ingredients

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Craft Alchemy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven raises an eyebrow at the elf. Unfortunately, she speaks the truth about these bandits.

"I know my way around a few poisons. I can take some time to see what I can find."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

"I can pose for one of them quite well, if that is the plan. However if there are two score or more bandits in there and the alarm is raised, we will need to be able make a hasty retreat. I would not want to leave any of you behind." Raven thinks for a moment before continuing. "Meaning we will have to focus on defeating the Stag Lord instead of trying to wade through his men. I have been trying to concoct something that might help, but to no avail."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven watches as the rat runs off towards the fort. ” Then we don't raise the alarm.”, she says off hand.

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven perks up at the word 'diviner'. "Really? So you might be able to see more than we are able with your power?", she pauses for a moment, as if considering something. "I welcome such help to our cause."

Rolls for Scouting

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

In the early morning Raven forages for a light breakfast.

Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Unfortunately anything she would find is either still hidden in burrows or too poisonous to eat. Cursing her luck under her breath, she takes her backpack off of Blackfoot before tying him to a tree. She takes out her camouflage netting and covers her backpack and other gear, including removing her bandolier of daggers, and covers them up before the rest of her companions awaken to head out on foot.

Survival: 1d20 + 4 - 10 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 10 = 0

Must see to getting new dice...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Realizing she hasn't eaten in some time, Raven dismounts Blackfoot and helps Dregan look for a suitable out of the way campsite.

Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

"This looks like a nice place to settle in for the night."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Wiping the sweat from Blackfoot's mane, Raven agrees with Alexio. "We shouldn't push our horses too far should we need them."

Rolls to assist Dregan

Survival: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Perception 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Perception 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven listens to them all, trying to not to be frustrated in not finding what she is looking for. "Well, I think we should at least scout the place out and make a decision once we're there. As I said earlier, the Stag Lord isn't going anywhere without coercion. We have time."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven listens carefully to Zartana and her ideas. "I agree with Kazz. You honestly stand out like a spot on the sun. He's as likely to kill you as take you on his crew. I would have a better chance. I do like the idea of poisoning his grog though. That might be the easiest way. There might be some plants around here I could cook something up with.." She trails off as she looks around the surrounding area for anything she could concoct a poison with.

Craft-Alchemy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

This is why I left. Raven looked at Alexio and then at the bodies, shaking her head.

"If we can convince him to keep sending men out to find us, we can win against him by attrition. Eventually his army will see all of their brethren hung out to dry, and they will lose their will to fight for the Stag Lord."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Listening to Kenaniah explain the Stag Lord's situation, Raven shakes her head as she looks to each of her companions. "Dregan and I might be able to pass for one of them, but I can only do so much to cover up Kazz and Zartana's heritage. We will have to make sure we are not seen."

She looks over at the two prisoners. "We have the time to deal with these two. We could mete out justice here or take them back to Oleg's. From the sounds of it, the Stag Lord isn't going anywhere soon."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Withdrawing herself and her blade, Raven stands and looks at Kazz. "The law of the land is death by hanging, so that is what we shall do."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven helps gather up the furs and other goods so that they will be easy to transport on the horses. "I'm not too sure about allowing another person to lead another group of bandits is such a wise idea. However, if we could get them to work for us as maybe, lookouts of a sort, then perhaps that might be of some merit." She pauses, brushing a wayward hair out of her face.

"As for these two, they didn't ask for much quarter when they fought us. Your charter specifies dealing with banditry and I agree that they should be dealt with in the same manner. As a matter of fact.." She drops what she is doing and walks over the one Kazz was talking to. As she nears him she leans in very close, as if she was going to show him her womanly side, but instead, an eight inch blade appears in her hand and is pointed at his throat.

"I suggest you dispense with the lying. As of this moment, you have no rights and your life is in our hands. Think about the next words to come out of your mouth very carefully."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven shows Dregan the pin, at the same time pulling out the other one to compare them. "They are all afraid of him so he can easily bring these men to heel, but if we bring him down, they will have no direction and it should significantly reduce the banditry in this area."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven would keep the pin...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven tosses her find into the pile of things to be sorted out. "I have plenty of daggers myself," she comments.

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Interesting way to come down.. Raven thought as the bandit in the tower jumped down, twisted his ankle and fell prone. He could have waited for me to get up there.

Raven climbs back down and makes her way over to the burnt out corpse of the one they called Kressle and begins to rummage through her things as she speaks. "We should find out where this Stag Lord is from one of these men and go make a show of ourselves. Then we will see what kind of men the rest of those that ran off are."

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Definitely. I also plan on seeking out the handy haversack as soon as I can...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Are you offering? In all seriousness, most of her stuff *is* with her horse. Between the armor and the several daggers in her bandolier and bow and sword, etc. She has a lot. If I drop my bandolier of daggers, then Raven would be under light load...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Normally Kazz you would be right, but I'm also carrying a medium load..

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Pre-combatAfter the signal from Kazz and her companions, Raven slips off into the forest, carefully determining a path that will lead her to the western watchtower unobserved.

Stealth: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Figures...

Round 1
Cursing the fact that her leather armor happened to brush a branch at the exact wrong time, drawing the attention of the bandit at the top of the tower so that he would see her companions, Raven was more determined than ever to bring him down. She makes a beeline for the tower and begins to climb it.

Climb: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3

Map

Changing d20.. :-P

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

I suppose it is too late for Raven to have made a stealth check to get to the tower herself, or now since combat has started does everyone see her?

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

Raven nods. "So, plan B then. If I can get close enough to her to put a blade through her ribs, it might convince the others to back off. If not, well I'm hoping all of you are expert marksfolk..." She trails off.

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

I'm hoping your affinity with darkness can keep them from running off Kazz.. Raven will volunteer to take care of the western tower as needed, unless you want her close to Kressle...

Female Human Ninja (Scout) 1

"I'll yell really loud?", Raven looked perplexed. "I am hoping you guys will be close enough to see any trouble brewing." She smiles, hoping her sarcasm is not lost on the drow.
