What do you mean, the report's been submitted? I'm not as familiar with GM duties in PFS, but I imagined any reports would have had to wait until the end. What if a character died in the final battle?
My feelings are hard to explain, but under the circumstances that we're resuming, I just don't even feel like trying to decide what my character would do.
We're close to the end, and I agree everyone's earned the right to finish it for their credit. I don't want to disrupt the encounter for them, and I don't want my character DMPC'd, so I'd rather just drop out. And even though I've played through so far, I wouldn't expect credit if I'm not contributing in the final encounter. I wouldn't feel like that was fair to the others.

Can I just drop out of this and not get credit for this scenario?

When no one else volunteers to take a hide from undead potion, Random shrugs and downs one, then puts the other one away.
He watches Necress send her undead minion ahead, and wonders why the group is sending a non-sentient zombie to go check out that glowing boulder. Eventually, he realizes that there's something(s) else in the room.
"Ooh! Are they zombies! I'm invisible!" He dances around the big zombie to get a clear shot at the presumed master. If the master is undead and intelligent, DC 11 Will save to see Random.
Round 1: double move past big zombie, unless he's not a zombie and takes an AoO.
Round 2: 5-ft step to flank the big zombie with Necress's minion (or whoever), then take a shot at the master, free action to drop bow, move action to draw longsword in order to offer flanking bonus for others.
Deadly aim, shooting at master: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 1 = 24 Confirm?: 1d20 + 5 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 - 1 = 22 Damage, silver blanched, cold-iron arrow: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11 Crit damage?: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10
Round 3, etc: Depends on effects of party's actions in rounds 1 and 2.

"Strange dais. Meh, someone had to say it." Random's curiosity compels him to lead the way. He does have enough sense, though, to dig out his potion of hide from undead. "Wait, I bought two of these?! That might be useful." He holds them up. "Makes you invisible to the undead, but it ends when you attack. Who can use one the longest?"
Nyx, while you command the zombie to fight for us? Anyone else can use a round or two to buff without drawing attention?
Random hands off the two potions and then resumes the approach, stepping relatively quietly.

Random takes a look at the note when it's passed around. "Hmmm... it's some kind of code..." He spins it around in his hands, "Well! That's a stupid code! All you have to do is turn it upside down and it's as clear as if it was written in common!" He mouths the words as he silently reads to the end of the missive. "Meh, I still don't get it," he dismisses the missive as he passes it to the next teammate.

"Whaaaaat?! I thought he was the Emperor. Pfft! You know what? Maybe the Emperor is behind all this. Maybe he's trying to off you, but he wants it to look like natural causes. I mean, nobody's going to suspect foul play if a whole theater company turns into zombies and kills everyone in the audience."
"Yeah, all y'all untrained civilians should follow us while we look for more trouble. Just in case Necress runs out of dead bodies to reanimate. Oh, yeah, 'necress' is female for 'necromancer'. I know, you thought it was 'necromantress' but only old people use that word anymore."

Surprise round: Random moves into the room, taking cover behind one of the pillars.

When the doors bang from the first impact, Random is as startled as everyone else. "Um..."
After the second crashing impact, he makes a decision, "Okay, if that's the 'fat lady' that's supposed to sing, we're going to have to change our plans."
As the crowd panics, Random pulls out a scroll and casts it, to no obvious effect. Then he pulls out an everburning torch and hands it off to the invisible assistant that he conjured. "Unwrap it and hold it nearby."

He tilts his head for a negligibly lower angle to watch the ostrich walk away after Cirri points it out. "How can you tell it's male? I know males usually have more color, but I don't think they're naturally purple like that. The gnome could just as easily have painted a female purple."

Then it's settled: during the show I'll sneak backstage and seduce the fat lady. I don't think she ever said she wanted to go to Starrise Spire, but Random wouldn't object to the trip, as long as some of the others were coming, too. He wouldn't want to be alone with her.
"Ah ha! Leave that to me!" Random pulls his longsword and cuts down a curtain from one of the windows. He proudly picks it up, and then hands it to the 'venture-captain'. He leaves it to her to make it into a disguise while he begins to second-guess his actions, examining the remaining curtains, "You know, I can cut this one down, instead, if it's in better condition..."

Random makes sure he passes the test, "Well, I can work a little magic. I don't know if any of your lives have any meaning...
He shrugs, and waits for the pony to get attacked or trot through the library back to the flooded room.

"What do you mean, wrong? Wrong-peculiar or wrong ha-ha? I bet this wand could do some wrong things with that water. Or, maybe, 'funny' things? I always get those two mixed up."

"I think I'd be able to use that wand. Just don't go rushing into the fray before I cast that one."
"Really, the idea's pretty clever. To summon a demon into the body of a construct, rather than some poor blood sacrifice, but doing all these experiments seems kinda contrary to any sort of humane motive. Maybe the intent is to use a slave to build constructs, and then you can create more subjects for demonic possession than if you just sacrificed the slave."
