I'm sorry, everyone, but I'm going to need to withdraw from this game. It turns out they never released the pregen I want to play, and I don't have the mental energy to make another character right now.

GM, can you please remove me from the list of players and characters?

I'm sorry, everyone, I've been dealing with a medical issue for the past two weeks. I thought I had posted here to let everyone know, but it looks like I didn't.

I think it's only fair to withdraw from the game at this point. I apologize for the inconvenience.

DoubleGold, let me know if you still want me to do the other stuff related to this game that we talked about. I'll understand completely if you want to put that off until a later game due to stress. Feel free to send me a PM about it either way to let me know.

Sick, so unable to post for a day or two. Please not if needed

Raia sees what she knows

culture: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15

"I am sure we will get such things figured out when we can see the creature up close!"

Her body language clearly stating that she was trying to deal with business promptly, Raia follows the others.

Upon hearing the briefing, here eyes sparkle at the possibility of interacting with such interesting technology.

player name: Redelia
character name and number: credit will be applied to Hagitha 184425-705
day job: none
faction: Wayfinders
boons: none, as a pregen

I'll be holding the chronicle until the character reaches the pregen level.

I'll fill in the profile details with Raia's level 8 stats before game start.

A lashunta woman quietly slips into the room, looking around curiously.

Got it, looks fine. Thanks!

Yay! Thank you, all, this was a lot of fun. Thank you, especially, GM, for sharing your scenario with us like this.

"If you are able to travel away from your home planet, maybe some of you would even be interested in joining us?"

Raia looks at the morlamaws. "I believe you that Oshessa hid her evil from you. I heard her sermon. Perhaps you could aid the Starfinder Society? We could use some help finding substances we need from your planet."

dipl.: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

"Oshessa's 'Weeping Knight' is actually the evil Zon Kuthon. She was torturing this Starfinder."

Raia asks the kalu to come out. She's not sure what Oshessa may have told the morlamaws, but hopefully this demonstration of Oshessa's actions will be helpful.

"Is there anything we can do to help you? Do you need healing or medicine?"

"Can you tell us what happened to you? And do you know where the rest of your team is?"

Seeing nothing more to be concerned about, Raia brings the key over to Keskodai.

Raia moves the weapon Tetham threw down away from him. She sees that Keskodai is helping the kalo prisoner, so she looks around to see if there is anything else they need to be concerned about.

+5 instead of +7, then.

Do any of you want to answer her about Oshessa and aid?

"Give up, Teltham. You have no leader, and you have no hope."

diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Raia makes Iseph invisible again.

I can't imagine 31 not doing it from that first roll with the 2 aids...

I'll roll to keep things moving, since I'm tied for highest value.

1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31

Now that Iseph is OK, Raia helps Lapis with the door.
+11 so auto-aid

Raia grabs Iseph and tries to pull him out of the water-filled areas so that they can administer first aid.

Raia blasts at Oshessa and her minion with another set of magic missiles.
using a level 2 slot.

damage, Oshessa: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7
minion: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Hi, just letting everyone know that I'm still here, since everyone is probably going to trickle in.

Raia uses her spell cache to cast magic missile at Oshessa.

damage: 3d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 4 = 9

pg 264 of the Starfinder CRB wrote:
Invisible creatures remain invisible even in unusual environments, such as underwater, and when subject to effects such as fog or smoke. They are not magically silenced. They can still be heard, smelled, and felt as normal, even if other creatures can’t see them. Invisible creatures leave tracks and can be tracked normally. A character looking for an invisible creature might find his quarry if the invisible creature drops an item, speaks, smells strongly, leaves an obvious trail, or performs some action that makes itself known. Finding an invisible creature in this way requires a Perception check as normal. If successful, and assuming your only precise sense is vision, you become aware of the invisible creature’s presence, but you don’t know its exact location. If you’re looking for an invisible creature, the GM might rule that you have a bonus or penalty to your Perception checks based on the situation.

I think the 'remains invisible, even underwater' means that this works differently than Pathfinder, but I'm not sure.

GM, since Iseph is invisible, can Oshessa target him?

Raia uses her magic to make Iseph invisible.

Can anyone benefit from being invisible, in a way similar to a PF rogue with sneak attack? If so, I'll do that this turn.

My posting may be scarce this weekend, so please bot me if needed.

Raia smiles reassuringly at Irtrine. "I know it can be hard when someone you trust tells you to do something that feels wrong. Thank you for telling us. Can you tell us where our still living friend is, so we can help him or her?"

"We have done what we can to save your relics from the water."

Sorry if I'm holding things up. I'm actually in cram mode, wanting to digest the entire playtest rulebook before GMing starting Monday.

Raia gestures to her team mates to come out of this flooded room. Let's get out of this flooded room and then take a look at what we grabbed from the case.

Raia looks at the snake, and sends the last of her magic missiles at it.

damage: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 3) + 3 = 11

The site being down so long really didn't help with that. I kept trying to post and couldn't.

Raia moves over to the case and grabs at the book.

If, on the other hand, mending would fix the leak, Raia would do that instead, but I think the case is too big and heavy for that

Raia sends more magical pellets, this time at the big snake.

magic missile damage: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 3 = 8

I hope that the rest of our fights aren't under water; I'm running out of level 1 spell slots.

Raia sends some little hard pellets of magic streaking towards blue.

magic missile damage: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4, 1) + 3 = 11

athletics: 1d20 ⇒ 12

Raia moves forward by half her speed.
Then she sends two magic missiles towards the green snake.
2d4 + 2 ⇒ (1, 4) + 2 = 7

Raia follows Lapis, ready for trouble of some kind.

Raia nibbles slightly at the fish to avoid giving offense.

Raia tries to discretely examine and smell the food to see if it looks safe.

not sure what skill you would like, GM.

Raia sits quietly near the others.

Raia nods to Keskodai's idea about dinner.
