I have nought to contribute but vengeance and steel.

If I part with this axe, could this be used to summon this hopper in a futile attempt to slay me? So that I can fight him away from his base? It seems to be that Ramada passing this book triggered a curse upon him... Nay, this I must not do. It is interesting that there are 5. Which is not a particularly significant number, in contrast to 6. I would be unsurprised if there was one more foe, who perhaps will appear once all 5 were defeated. 6 is a coven twice.

Probably someone who relied on fear, terror, surprise and brutality, a handaxe is not a real weapon of war. Perhaps one who desired to be recognized as a warrior, while being none of that. A challenge from one that is may be... effective in compelling him to fight in conditions of our choosing.

What is known of this criminal and his nature and past? To make an appopriately unavoidable challenge, I would require some extra information on him. Are there perhaps records of his crimes that I may peruse? I basically plan to insult and challenge him really really hard.

Oh, Ragnar thinks the professor being dead is mabye his fault, as he is aware of some Wrath of the righteous plot points, which the professor figured out regarding ragnars background.

This is most likely a massive yet plausible red herring (unless the GM wants to add some antagonistic Demons or their cultists for variety), but the overall idea (the professor figured out how Ragnar was made by Deskari/Baphomet cultists, which included stealing certain crystals, which are the crystallized blood of demonlord slain by Nocticula, from Nocticulas abyssal realm, as such these cultists would have a strong interest in seeking the professor silenced) is plausible.

Semimechanically, he survived the transformation (which did not made him mythic but a half fiend) because as a CN Gorrumite, who strongly believed in duels, violence, aggression and courage he was ideologically compatible with the dead demonlord Tharvool, one who kind of had similar values or areas of concern. He is somewhat aware of this, but chooses to not know it as he finds this troubling.

Ragnar may or may not have a degree of mental connection with that dead demonlord, so the GM can use this is a mental plot dump device.

My half fiend gut tells me the professor was assassinated, my innate paranoia and overcharged pride tells me because of me. My gut is typically right, my innate paranoia and pride typically arent, although there are indeed others who would have a great interest in seeing him dead, other then aforementioned necromancers.

There are a couple of assassination cults of Nocticula that display restraints of black cloth or shadowy bindings on their imagery, but typically blindfolds not gags, and they arent really into skulls. It is thus not a symbol I recognice based on my unique fiendish association. It good that we are not dealing with them, the Lady in Shadows servants are exceedingly dangerous adversaries.

I think other then mounts these restriction were nixed in the transfer from 3.5 to pf1e.

A mount is a type of creature that has a rider, and does not use any of its actions or limbs to have that ride ride it.

I think in part because less book keeping (you dont stop flying because you were hit my a ray of weakness, pushing you into medium weight), and because heavy armor is kind of weaker then light/medium because dexterity is a fairly powerful attribute compared to str.

Plenty of monsters such as f.e. Solars, shield archons, legion archons, several demodands, Valkyries, Vavakias etc, fly while having heavy or more frequently medium armor.

Ragnar is annoyed that he looks as if he jumped out of a "Join Nocticulas cult for massive looksmaxing gainz" recruiting poster. Which is why he generally speaking wears heavy plate armor to not look like that.

The only rule I am aware of is:
Flying mounts can’t fly in medium or heavy barding.
Ragnar is not a mount, and would presumably use his hands to hold a creature or ally he is transporting.
