Firstly, congrats on moving up in the oilfield patch-world... hope you've landed with a company that will reward the commitment with recognition... like maybe when it's time to open up that KL branch ;)

Grim set to his jaw, where Luke stalks - Ragnar walks openly. He follows the warden, seeking to lay eyes upon the next beast to be opened by his blade.

As the passage narrows, so does skaggig make was for alfr smarta. Ragnar leads the group with sword and shield.

Grumbling "Leave it, we can deal with it when the bastards are in the mud"

Ragnar keeps to the back of the group for the moment, allowing the others to run through the details of what had been discovered.

Ragnar stands outside of the line of fire, but does not see any need to cower. He keeps a ready grip on skaggig... as the tumult of noise to follow will likely draw some kind of interest...

With a grimace of distaste and muscle memory from his own encounters with rot grubs Ragnar growls "Put it to fire..."

BD - could we have pillaged the alchy fire from Muli?

Finally got the sequence of events down and it's a lazy 149 post-it notes wide.

Oy vei - good luck with the fishing eh... currently doing a root cause investigation on a 4 week plus fishing job gone wrong. Sequence of events is currently running about 70-80 steps wide...

Onward to X-10 and a means of breaking through the blockage.

Nodding, Ragnar pauses and has a thought. Going back to Redec's severed head he lifts it and tucks the beast's hair into his belt-loop, leaving it swinging from his belt like a macabre trophy. If queried he reasons "Black b1tch thinks the cannibal bastards are her sons... could be we'll get her pissed off enough to not fight well if we turn their heads into a nithing pole."

Grimacing Ragnar intones "Best to hack the knees apart before going for the head... any idea where the other cannibal bastards lay their head in this place?"

Ragnar watches as the fresh meat regathers their weaponry and sees themselves returned to arms. The remainder of the once was puca's lair serves to give little more inspiration except for the barricade of rotten flesh. To the others he muses "Have you the strength to fight?"

Putting skaggig back across his shoulders and stretching his neck to audible cricks Ragnar takes watch as the others search for gear. He adds "Puca probably dead or gone... maybe more of these cannibal bastards to kill though."

Furrowing his brow Ragnar answers "Already gave you my name, though we came here to kill puca... not rescue. No puca to be found, so we gutted the cannibal and his hund instead." standing back slightly and not showing overt aggression - allowing those that were captive within the cells to make their own way out.

Ragnar looks down at the extended hand before raising his eyes to look upon the skald again without extending his own. Pushing on he asks "Any more alive?"

Spitting blod flecked phlegm to the side Ragnar is in no mood to wait on ceremony. Gesturing with his head for Muli and Disa to stand back he bellows in the sacred tunga of his Ulfen brethren "Back from the door..." introducing the fetid and breaking wood to the subtle kiss of skaggig...

No real preferences on how the old ones depart (apart from Muli needing to stay alive in some form).

Good... Ragnar already had man who finds things for him to kill and lady with friend for Liten Mun. Man who sings of past battles good to pass the time between bloodshedding.

Hope the offshore side calms down a wee bit for ye BD - I hear the North Sea is being it's usual ornery self at the moment.

Salsa - have you considered a Hunter? - with teamwork feats you can make the wolf pretty badass as a trip partner.

AdamWarnock - personally I think the Shaman would be a near perfect fit for an Erutaki spirit speaker.

As both a heads up and an FYI - I shall be wending my way on holiday starting Monday, and will be out of the country from roughly 2-3 weeks give or take (through to about 10th April).

During such time my online time shall be curtailed from what I'm usually capable - which should engender a reduction in verbosity and potentially some unreliability when it comes to posting rates and speed.

I'm more that happy to be DMPC'd whenever it's appropriate, but am hopefuly that I should be able to keep up with all the PbPs that I'm currently playing in during the time down-under.

Ragnar makes sure of Redec's inability to rise by removing his head from it's companion torso before slumping tired and bloody against the wall as the others make investigation of the lair.

Taking the knife in the arm with a guttural growl, Ragnar twists his body away to draw Redec close enough to drive his forehead at the bastard. As Redec stumbles backward away from the vikingr, he follows up with a heavy rising cross strike with skaggig...

At Redec's inevitable betrayal, Ragnar sighs and lets conscious thoughts fade... and the black rage suffuse his mind and take over. With guttural snarl his legs pump piston like to project him towards Redec, and skaggig rips through the air with scything motion...

...contacting the bastard upon the shoulder bone, with the heavy blade deflecting downwards off the clavicle to cut bloody ruin through Redec's chest.

Nose flaring slightly but unbothered by the rotting debris, Ragnar keeps a steady eye on Redec before barking "Go on then... pull it"

Ragnar picks up on two words "Not yet? - who is Bearncennicge, and where?"

Ragnar holds skaggig at the ready, but does not take overt step towards the feral one. Adding to Muli's question "And what became of the puca?"
