Quasar once again summons to her a sizable collection of rocks, hurling them towards the mites, aiming for the one in the back, and hoping the force of the blast will separate them out.

Quasar was preparing to deal with the rather intimidating centipede and perhaps talk to the mites, but as it's quickly dealt with, and was clearly commanded by them, she instead rushes up to the water's edge, to hurl rocks at the one in the back. Purple, specifically.

Quasar nods, straightening her clothes again. "Just the one... well, the one who was alive. Religious sort, seemed friendly and harmless. There were also a number of... corpses returned to life by a dhampir with an oddly convenient note of confession on his person... and a bit more exploring we still need to get to, but, well, obvious priorities." She gestures to the minotaur.

Quasar takes a step back, visibly relieved the people who actually look like they can take a solid hit have interposed themselves, and leans over to Janira for a quick, "You OK? I'd thought you were just going to keep running back towards the city until this jerk gave up."

She then once again pulls together the stones for another oversized blast.

Quasar makes another big grandiose show of pulling together a particularly hefty ball of earth. Gathering power

Quasar frowns, seeing the minotaur has stepped just too far away to be properly battered from this side of the river. Giving it a glance, and seeing it at least looks a bit more narrow than the pit in the cave in parts, and leaps across, hoping to at least catch the minotaur's attention, and hopefully not be flattened for her efforts.

As she's airborne, she pulls together a pile of loose stones from the riverbottom to send upwards towards the already clearly enraged brute.

Immediately feeling much more nervous, she adds, "I don't why you're attacking random strangers, but you can at least be sporting and go for someone on her feet?"

Before I commit to something reckless here- Are we going by the visible width of the river at any given point, where it seems to be 5' across to the east of where I am currently, not even 5 up north, and up to 12 in places, or calling the DC to clear it a flat 10 regardless of where you are?

Too late to edit the post, but yeah, less rock throwing, more rushing forward. Just... pretend I was getting really descriptive about kicking a rock into the river while rushing up.

Taking a close look at the range extension infusions, yeah, that seems to be the clear intent. I somehow missed those when throwing this together, and was just going off "Physical blasts are ranged attacks." The fun of trying weird new classes.

I'll have to change that out when I get the chance but, for now year I suppose I'll be revising that to a double move.

Acting more than a little rashly, Quasar rushes forward, shouting "Hey!" and hurling a good sized lump of stone at the minotaur, hoping to at least make herself an obvious enough threat to divert the rather intimidating foe's attention, as she fully expects to go a bit wide given the distance and poor visibility.

Quasar backs away from the approaching amoeba, if necessary, pushing off the narrow walls as she gathers stone from them...
5' step northwest if possible, 15' west with acrobatics to avoid the AOO otherwise.

"May want to keep your distance, I seem to recall these get a bit... melty." says Quasar, as she steps forward some, gathering another pile of rocks to push forth, hopefully actually hitting something for a change, ideally the amoeba further down from everyone.

Quasar steps up for a closer inspection of the scene, once all the corpses have lied down like they're supposed to.

"No, I hear it too." She waves her hand in the direction of the hidden passage, rocks sweeping aside to properly reveal it. Basic Geokinesis is fun for showing off.

"And this note seems to be playing into stereotypes in an unfortunate way. I always thought to make zombies you had to be... involved in less savory religious practices? May as well grab the ring to see if anyone recognizes it later."

Noting that the raw bludgeoning didn't work earlier, as Quasar strides forward into the room, she pulls thin wedges of chipped stone and crystal from the surrounding walls, forming a sharp edged disc to fling towards the less obstructed of the two zombies. Green has no cover from my current view of the map, and I only had to move 20' if Reshu or Drilla end up blocking that particular angle.

... I'd say I wished my d20s were rolling like my d6s, but technically they are.

... How sleep deprived was I when I threw this character together that I didn't remember to take point blank shot and precise shot on someone who literally is built entirely around making ranged attacks into melee? Only way it makes sense is if I misread this ability and didn't realize it qualified as a ranged attack. Kicking myself so hard now.

Quasar takes a step forward, again gathering power pulling rocks from the walls to form into an extra large missile, hurling it towards the one zombie in sight, in the hopes of knocking it back to allow others through.

In this case, the perception/appraise check was used (with a penalty) in place of a knowledge check. It's measuring not just your ability to make out the carvings, but to recognize their connection to a famous holy text. In that context, I think this check, like knowledge checks in general, is not something you can repeat or take 20 on.

Quasar does her best to secure her end of the rope, to something so that anyone else not up for a running jump can simply climb down and back up, wincing in sympathy as Luralyn tries for it anyway and fails.

And... yeah, officially snagging the thunderstone as nobody's objected, nice to be less of a one-trick pony when throwing a rock isn't the solution to a problem.

If it's late enough in the day to have eaten the day's rations I brought, I wouldn't mind holding onto the smokestick or thunderstone, otherwise 7 strength continues to be hilarious.

As they make their way through the narrow tunnels, Quasar smiles. "Rather relaxing down here, don't you all agree?"

Knowledge (dungeoneering): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Eventually I am bound to roll above a 6 on something.

Quasar walks up to the edge of the pit and has a look around.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 And basic geomancy lets me sift the whole 10' cube of the pit for any hidden traps/objects while I do that.

Seeing the obvious bundle at the bottom, and the need to get across, she adds. "I don't suppose anyone brought any rope? Those walls look a bit slick to want to go down for it barehanded. Plus I'm not sure all of you can make this jump..."

Rather impulsively, assuming the others leave her enough room for the running start (and that she sees no obvious traps), she'll then try to casually leap to the far side.

Quasar hesitates a moment, preparing to gather her power again to throw a nice sized rock at the minotaur, but ultimately has to admit that one lucky hit from something that big would likely be enough to kill anyone present, and begrudgingly follows behind Reshu.

Quasar steps back slightly to try again 5' step SE, this time bending down, sucking up dirt and stones to a much more intimidating lump, move action to Gather Power and hurls it forth...

and... the free pushing infusion wouldn't matter because you can't bull rush a swarm, but she just kinda wanted to be splashier about to for the sake of recovering dignity, you know how it is

Quasar is more than happy enough to get away from the potentially feuding pets of the others, and pick up all the supplies she can carry. A single torch and a day's worth of trail rations. 7 str is hilarious like that.

Once out o the road, the appearance of a roiling pile of snakes moving in quickly towards them, she snaps out of her usual awkwardness with a smirk, rolling up her outsized sleeves and tossing off a quick "I've got this" as she sweeps her hands upward, followed by a loose pile of rocks and thick clods of solid earth, which coalesce into a hefty mass before her, before she thrusts her arms forward, propelling the bulky missile towards the snakes from 30 feet away.

Quasar nods. "And we're sure these caves aren't flooded? I don't want to end up drowning because it turns out Groetus worshipping weresharks have been waiting for a spring tide to swim up to some otherwise inaccessable chamber or something." She tugs anxiously on the collar of her studded leather armor. Which has always been such, and was never a chain shirt, because I totally didn't forget that even with no other equipment those are a no-go with only 7 str.

Oh hey, double checking just now, I actually made a slight character throwing this character together. That should be ill-fitting studded leather I have, not a chain shirt. Forgot to update that when I was making last minute tweaks for the sake of future feats.

Quasar gives the bear a wide birth, pressing herself up against a wall, looking slightly nervous. "Right, supplies... from the sound of it, we're probably going to need a few torches, or sun rods, or... people who just touch the ends of walking sticks and cause them to glow... this is all pretty close by though, right? No need to hop on a ship or anything and sail back across the sea, or ride along with some wagon train for days?"

Quasar waves back. "Yeah, big family here too. Well, not here here. Back in the Impossible Kingdoms mostly. Lot of homebodies and accountants mostly. I originally came out this way to look into some business interests, and well..." she glances down at herself and tugs on her shirt again, "I didn't quite... budget properly for personal expenses."

"I'm told this sort of work tends to pay out quicker than prospecting, so, hopefully this should cover the difference." She quickly adds, "not that I'm just here for the money! Again, like you said, there's all the exploration and discovery and noble deeds for the public good and all too."

A young woman of obviously Vudrani descent, with a slight but curvy frame and fidgeting with a rather ill-fitting chain shirt over worse-fitting clothes finally pipes up. "Well, I'm always-" She stops a moment and clears her throat. "I'm always happy enough to hike up a mountain or down through a cave, but... you did say gillmen, right? So... fish folk? Are these caves supposed to be flooded, or are am I maybe stereotyping?"

She also makes her way around the room to properly greet the others. "You can all call me Quasar by the way... or Ms. Bhatt. Haven't met a problem yet I haven't had the gifts to handle." She looks for a sufficiently dirty corner at which to wave her fingers at, swirling up a small cloud of dust as a means of showing off a little.
