Apologies, I'm on medication which is interfering with my concentration and this game is getting increasingly hard to follow, so I'm going to drop out. If anyone wants to hijack Pyreous (perhaps reborn under another name), or if you want to use him as an excuse for a fiery conflagration then feel free..
The Angels brought by Pyros integrate with the City of Atlas, creating the Aasimaar, a crossbreed of the Humans and the Angels, who start to appear in great numbers.
The melting pot of the City of Atlas becomes a centre for innovation, and Pyreous imparts to them the secrets of forging and smelting.
The Frost Wyrms learn the power to command the primal forces of the weather, specialising in manipulating temperature, as a result of this, their isle becomes still colder.
Pyreous gathers power once again.
Pyreous speaks to Pyros of the Angels, "It is time to spread your wings, and bring my truth to the other races. Make each race use their own talents to serve the Pyrovar."
Not finished my turn yet, just out of time to post...
Pyrous gathers power one last time before the end of the age.
Create a mountainous island to the south, a frost-covered land of ice and snow, but rich in minerals. (Create Land 12pts). He then splinters a race from the Sea Drakes and creates the Jormundgandr or Frost Wyrms.
7 remaining.
"The peoples need to expand to prove themselves, and require the tools to do so."
Gathering Power: 3d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1, 2) + 2 = 6
0 Power Remaining.
"Where the dead choose to linger is of little concern, but still..."
Power Surge: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 3, 3, 1) = 10
Create Avatar: Pyros, born among Angels, a warrior obsessed with bringing the light to the dark places. Frustrated with the seeming complacency of his fellows.
2 power remaining (?) (10 Create Avatar, Create Order 8 Create Order) Not sure if it is 2 points or 8 to Create an Order, are the 2 points for Command Avatar an extra cost for an extra action, or a cheaper option for acting through an Avatar?
A lot of work yet to see how Pyreous truly thinks of others, but initial thoughts: Atresse: "Plays too safe, mortals should be given the tools to survive, but making them soft is a waste." Beliseous: "Would destroy everything without respite, while whatever she creates could prove a worthy adversary, creating the insurmountable does not serve creation" Dyrm: "A meddler, but an interesting one, I suspect his goals align with my own, though I'm not sure he quite knows his own mind." Eyreo: "Focusses on dominion, rather than shaping. Will create useful foes for the better mortals, I'm sure." Hexavos: "I know nothing of this one, if he makes his presence known I will form an opinion." Karmesh: "Another who may be aligned with me, though I fear he may try to interfere with mortal-kind too much. If they cannot think on their own and go only at your direction, they are not a worthy creation." Nimeton: "I cannot decide on this one, it is seemingly a god of stories, and may play more of a role when creatures exist to tell those stories. Stories of the past can help shape the future...hmmm." Nyakushuur: "A creature of cycles that mirror mine own. She understands that creation and destruction are less sides on a war and more the cycles of advancement. Though she views it on a more animal level than I" Omaz Almas: "This one interests me, his ideals are close to mine, yet I fear he will resent the rise of mortal-kind. It would be good to strike a balance, or perhaps a to and fro with this one." Zurakar: "Is so fond of order, I expect that his nurturing presence will lend itself to times of peace, though he needs to learn that peace and order lead to stagnation when left too long."
Gather Power: 3d6 + 9 ⇒ (4, 2, 1) + 9 = 16
Let me know if I've done it wrong.Little suns for desert okay?
Map is currently set to View Only, owner can either set to edit for everyone or ask us for our google names to share specifically. At least that's as far as I understand it. If you click on the 'share' button in the top left corner you can request access. I was going on the assumption of first come first serve, since having people go through in order when in different time zones and different posting availability would be a bit of a nightmare - just didn't want to get presumptuous. |
