Proxy-83959 grins. "We couldn't have done it without all of you!" he says, deferring any credit to the more successful members of the group. "But I got a nice T-shirt anyway."

"Ouch!" Proxy-83959 hisses. "Let's get out of here!" he says, leading by example on his way to the finish line after wildly firing a shot at the nearest cy-boar.

Note, I'll be out of town until Monday afternoon. Please feel free to bot me in the meantime. If no one else moves toward the finish line, I'll go back into fighting, though I think I only have charges for two more shots left in my battery.

"Help us!" Proxy-83959 calls, feeling like karma will be on their side after they earlier helped the Deep Cultures Institute.

But Rovuur is dying and that's a bigger concern than the race! He rushes forward as he sizes up the the cy-boars and fires a blast of plasma at red.

* Feature 1st: Digital Assessment [one action, two actions] A quick check of your records and local infospheres lets you quickly disseminate information to your allies. Choose a creature within 100 feet and Recall Knowledge about the target. When you succeed at identifying your target with Recall Knowledge, you note a resistance or immunity in the creature’s defenses in addition to any other benefits.
Lead by Example If you used two actions, you Strike the target. You and your allies gain a +1 circumstance bonus to AC against attacks made by the target until the start of your next turn. If the target has the tech trait, it must attempt a Fortitude save against your class DC. On a failure, the target becomes glitching 1. The target is then immune to Digital Assessment for 1 hour.

He does not seem particularly enthusiastic about it.

Proxy-83959 looks miserable. "I don't think I can dance," he says. "I guess I can eat, though."

Not sure I'll be great at either, but who knows. I'm fine if the party chooses dance, dance revolution.

Whoops. Hard to believe I get paid to read! But this explains a lot about Proxy.

Proxy-83959 gives a sudden start as he realizes that it's too early to calibrate the computers at this point, as they haven't even been installed yet. He looks crestfallen, realizing again this is why he's here and who he is, instead of more impressively numbered Proxy.

Proxy-83959 nods. "Well, I'll do my best, of course. But do we think the First Ones are back now? Here? In this ship?" He looks anxious -- he may not be cut out for this.

"We probably should set up the boundary markers first, right? In case any of them are out there, they'll know not to come in here?"

"I suspect not," a sad looking android replies half-heartedly. "If I'm on the mission, I can only assume it was a last-minute emergency, or they'd have found a better option. I'm Proxy-83959. As you can see by my name, there were approximately 83,958 androids deemed better at my job than me, but hopefully I will not disappoint too badly."
