Steeling his Poke Poke quit and carefully moves through the corn field toward were he dropped his blades. sneakysneak: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (16) + 21 = 37

When he gets to the opening in the field he sees Grumpy's lifeless headless body and thinks to him selfGrumpy you dumb longshank why did you not run. . He also sees Stinky's wolf come rushing out. He thinks Now is as good a time as any and rushes out towards his daggers.

There is also a diffence between hold and ready. If you are readying the action it has to be clear what that action is and what triggers it. If a creature goes before you in the initiative it carrys to your next turn. E.G. Wizard turns invisible. Your turn is next. You ready an action "If the wizard turns visible I will shot him with my bow" The round ends and the wizard starts his next round action which is cast an offensive spell and comes visible. Your ready action triggers and you fire on it. The wizard completes the rest of it's action ending its turn. You now take your turn for the current round. You can take a 5' step as part of a readied action as long as you don't otherwise move any distance during the round.


Hold (Delay) action you can change your initiative but not interupt.
Technically both resign your position in initiative to the point you took the action. Though none of the games I've been in do that.

As the vile creature snaps and stomps Poke Poke deftly dodges. But as its master hideously laughs, fear cuts through Poke Poke. He drops both his daggers and runs back into the corn field.

assuming military saddle
Military: A military-style saddle braces the rider, providing a +2 circumstance bonus on Ride checks related to staying in the saddle. If the rider is knocked unconscious while in a military saddle, he has a 75% chance to stay in the saddle.
I would give him the +2 to cmd. Otherwise I would treat it as bullrush, because with the charge your running at him. Like jousting. Just my opinion

I'm a bit confused on the map. I think Poke Poke should be next to that vine, but it looks like he was placed in the opposite direction. Was the other vine where he is now? Trying to figure out if Poke Poke can charge the one on the map or if he is already there.

Poke Poke streaks toward the closest vine and starts hacking at it. He picks up the bards tune as he goes.

Being entangled impedes movement, but does not entirely prevent it unless the bonds are anchored to an immobile object or tethered by an opposing force.
An entangled creature moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity.

Unless I missed it, Poke Poke is entangled and not grappled. And does not need to roll anything to move. M14/15 are within his movement range. Just couldn't tell which square was out side the entanglement.

The kicking off the root is flavor for why his movement is halved.

Poke Poke studies the light. After a bit assumes it is also someone probably on watch at a different camp and continues on with his watch. Making sure to keep an eye on it through out.

As his shift ends and he wakes up Calain he informs him.

" Hey Grumpy, wake up. It's time for your watch. By the way looks like there is someone on watch over there. Maybe keep an eye on it. We should maybe check it out in the morning."

Baldwin about what time is it? I think by post we should of been traveling about 6-7 hours plus an hour cutting up the croc
