Now that the 6th issue of Pathfinder is being shipped I want to cancel my subscription to the books.
Curse of the Crimson Throne does not interest my group as before we started Rise of the Runelords we had a city based campaign.

I might resubscribe when the third campaign is coming out, but for now I want my subscription to Pathfinder stopped.

Sorry, and thanks for the great products so far.

I was able to download mine at around 8 AM eastern time, so almost 12 hours ago. I win?

Definitely my second favorite Pathfinder so far, with The Skinsaw Murders number one, Hook Mountain Massacre number three, and Burnt Offerings number four. (Note that they're all great. Just not... Skinsaw great.)

I breezed through all of it reading some encounters and marveling at the picture of the Mother of Oblivion and such, and I can say that this one is pretty good. The adventure is very jam-packed, with many varying locations and events.

I just shudder at that ogrekin Mamma picture.

Smurf.

Downloading! Yay!

And I got mine today too, in Canada.

So I should wait until the 30th before asking for a replacement, correct? My players are almost done Burnt Offerings and I'd rather run from a book than a PDF for The Skinsaw Murders.

With my group to ease over from the triple-TPK from Savage Tide (Yep!) I allowed 5d6 drop 2 for rolling. Two characters each have two 18s, another has two 16s, and another has 13,13,13,13,12,16, which was really odd.

The group has slain Ripnugget and have just calmed down Shadowmist, being hurt here and there (Gogmurt took them all out with entangle, but they made a deal to take out the Longshanks and then attacking him all in one turn without letting him act, killing him.) but overall getting through.

Good mixture of easy and hard in my book.

Quickly briefed all the sections. Holy crap does the Foxglove Manor seem awesome. I was wondering how Pett would make the horror and this is just excellent.

Also, undead crows? Nice.

This is exciting. And I'm an international subscriber! Woo hoo!

Currently at 19% as I type, and going up.

It was awesome.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi? Maybe it's old Obi-Wan Kenobi!"

Meg being the creature in the garbage disposal was the best part, though.

We had our first session and such last Friday.

The party consists of:

Rocad - Shoanti Fighter
Obbert - Halfling Rogue
Arian - Elven Cleric of Iomedae
Bravul - Elven Enchanter

It's awesome, as Bravul was really disturbed by Aldern.

It seemed all of my teachers played AD&D, so many conversations about D&D comes out of that. Two of my teachers currently played the game, too.

Is anyone else excessively excited for this one? An ancient city with the stylings of the Runelord of Greed, fully detailed and taking up pretty much an entire volume?

If Paizo's past efforts at this sort of thing are any indication of how cool Xin-Shalast will be, having a whole volume for them to detail ought to inspire a lot more beyond capping off the first Pathfinder AP.

Hope this one becomes a classic!

Think of all the treasure! Mountains and mounds of gold!

Spoiler:
And everyone remember to mention the gold the PCs put into the pillar thing at Thistletop when they get to Xin-Shalast.

I finally got my issue of Dungeon 150 yesterday, and so I thought I would have to wait awhile to receive Pathfinder 1.

But voila, it came today. YAY.

Turns out, I'm trying to skip a business trip. I'm in Baltimore next weekend at the Alliance Open House, so I'll actually not get into Pathfinder #2 until the week after THAT.

And, just to throw another wrinkle in the mix, my players and I are super excited about McWoD and might do a short campaign in that setting before coming back to RotR. Who knows?

Final update from Pathfinder #1 coming this week though, for sure!

YAYers!

Luckily I'm not starting until mid to end September, so I'll have the second book when I get to it in October.

Hopefully. Still haven't gotten Dungeon 150 yet.

I've actually started to edit out all of the text and dotted lines and stuff with photoshop. I'm done with the Caverns of Wrath, and the Glassworks and Thistletop are almost done. (They're harder with beds and small room features. The first level in the Thistletop dungeon will be hard, too.) I'm planning on editing the secret room out of the last dungeon level as well and then having it in a seperate image to put down over top of the map if the PCs find it.

Am I allowed legally to give others these edited maps when I am done, though? I'm willing to share but I don't know if I can.

YAY! I GOTS ITS! Downloading right now. Downloading fast, too.

Me neither - but I draw comfort from the fact that others suffer as I do.

Same for me. I just hope that when we do start getting them it's not alphabetical. My last name begins with a 'W.'

At what point do we start to worry about not getting a pdf link? I'm in Canada, received an email that my Pathfinder order shipped about a week ago, but I still haven't received a notice that the PDF is available.

Of course, I'm probably clogging the server with my continued refreshes of the My Downloads page. Cursed intertubes!

:)

International orders start tomorrow, I think. I'm in the same boat as you.

Jesk "Cracktooth" (Sandpoint area 18) is listed as a NG Human Male Half Orc Expert.

So he's a quarter-Orc? =p

He's actually a human. At one point he was a half orc, but half orcs are actually pretty rare in the Lost Coast region so we decided to switch him back to human. We just forgot to take out the Half-Orc part, alas.

So the important question is; are you getting paid for those 2 extra words? The quarter of a cent could come in handy.

Yep.

Preorder expected January 2008.

I have no PDF either, but I think that's because I'm in Canada.

I'm planning on pre-ordering the core books, but I still plan on running Pathfinder as I want a campaign that I do not need to spend so much time preparing.

So basically, I'll run whatever Pathfinder is, but will be ready if it ever changes, and if I ever feel the need to I'll run some 4e games in between and on one shots like I do with AD&D.

I was wondering this as well. It would be nice to get player versions of the maps.

I think I count as international up here in Canada, so I think I'm last.

My group only has three players at the moment, but we're aiming for five. We're not playing for over a month yet, so we have time to search and create characters.
So far two of the players have decided on basic character concepts.
One is an elven enchanter and the other is a druid - race undecided.

We HOPED you were just kidding about that part. :P

I still believe you were just kidding about that part.

Did the PDF go out yet to subscribers? I hear some have gotten some emails with the link but I have yet to receive mine. Should I be worried?

So Paizo did know?

James Jacobs and Nicholas Logue. Plus others, probably.

I was on but clicking on a link screwed me over.

My F5 key is going to die soon.

And... nothing.

YAY! SOMETHING!

NOW!! GAH!

Edit: I've calmed down. Now:
Service Unavailable.

SAVE THE GNOMES!!!

So one of the topics on the forums was the OGL. So does that mean that Fourth Edition is OGL?

I'm sticking with Pathfinder with 3.5, at least until the end of Curse of the Crimson Throne. I want to wait for all the reviews and what not of 4th, anyway.

Ugh. Loyalties divided between 3.5 Pathfinder and 4e D&D.

Now all the pages seem to be blocked.

http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=686

Well...

Wait. Now I'm getting 22 hours. WotC has a hard time telling time, it seems.

Does it say 23 hours for everyone now?

So DI? ...'Shudder'... 4th Edition? I was, until this moment, one of the non-believers. But... All of the fours.

But let's investigate!

4DVENTURE

It could be 4D. Dungeons and Dragons could be bringing the world 4D. We'll all be playing in 4D come tomorrow.

Yay me!

And so does this mean that we can download the PDF of Pathfinder 1 as soon as it ships next week, or does the PDF come out at a later date?

Wow. Yesterday was awesome for me.

1. This player's guide came out.
2. I went to the new addition of my FLGS (in my city, the Bookshelf was selling so many gaming supplies that it made an addition called the Gameshelf next door - yay!) and I found the core rulebooks for AD&D 1st and 2nd edition.
3. Because I was wearing my D&D t-shirt at my FLGS they manager gave me a free D&D baseball cap.
4. I got a booster of Night Below for D&D minis and I got the epic large gold dragon miniature.
5. Some guy at my FLGS invited me to join a new campaign of D&D 3.5 on Tuesday for 3rd level characters.

I chose Erastil. Old Deadeye seems so peaceful and relaxing.

Plus... 'Old Deadeye.'

Good old Carlos the Dwarf.

I wanted to read a campaign journal or see a sample of Pathfinder before subscribing, and now, after downloading Hollow's Last Hope and reading this campaign journal I am convinced that Pathfinder will be great and of good quality.

Can't wait to run this adventure. Thanks, Josh.

Perhaps change the d4 to a d3.

I seem to use devils (all kinds), goblinoids, orcs, ogres, trolls, giants, and dragons a lot. I also use beholders, aboleths, and other aberrations whenever I get the chance.

The BBEG of a long campaign is usually a human, devil, or dragon. Looking at my next one... a lich... that was a human.

I just got my Dungeon 146. This is great.
However, my Dungeon 145 has not come to my mailbox yet, and I suppose that since I already have 146 that 145 should be here by now. (Hard to understand logic, I know.)

Can I get a replacement of 145?

Thanks.
