![]() apparently At&t has been keeping up with their fantastic service of screwing up his internet, he got it back today again, and should be on some time tonight, I have been trying to get a hold of him, but in a genius move on at&t's part, they made it seem like the phone line was still working while in fact it was not. Ox looks as if on the verge of pouting at the creatures plight. He goes back to Noir and draws his sword, readying himself in the event that something does attack. ![]()

![]() Ox grimaces and is moe than a bit creeped out by the fact that the corpse is in imposibly good shape. The grace has died so it isn't an enchantment of the area. " This doesn't bode well. I don't like it one bit. SOmething deeper is going on here and i fear if it can handle the likes of a unicorn than it candle handle us as well. on your toes gentlemen." Ox surveys the area doing his beast to look for signs of life. perception1d20 ⇒ 7 ![]()

![]() Ox watches the others go and seems to be a bit more at ease, as if he was up tight in the first place. Perhaps it was the elves and having to look at those that put an arrow through his neck. Shaking his head slightly he lets out a relieved sigh. I hope they don't kill each other. That said, lead the way brother. not to long into the journey Ox starts whistling a happy tune. It is the first time he has picked up his subconscious habit in a while. ![]()

![]() "I bet a three fingered assassin would be quicker to come after you than a five fingered one, besides It'll give the boys back home something to do." Ox starts shooing the others back to bed. "I'll be waking a couple of you back up soon enough. and you guys can try not to catch arrows." Ox spends the rest of the night trying to convince Janku that its a good idea for one more loop back. ![]()

![]() "Oh." Ox looks perplexxed. " sometimes I think spell casters can do what they like with magic. I often don't get the rules as I'm not gifted my self." He turns as his brother catches his ear. I'd just as soon hang the lot of them, but as we have already taken in three bandits I can't seem to justify not taking this two back. Maybe they could lead us to their hide out. I recall tuck speaking about their being a couple other small groups out here. ![]()

![]() Noir apparently focusing on the sound of words in Servayn's sentence and decides it is more than likely an order to finish the job he started, and proceeds to do so with another pair of stomps. The horse then turns around and trots in toward the camp looking at Ox with a big glassy chocolate eye. 'Thank you Janku, Praise be to Gorum!"Ox stands with a groan, closing his hand on his sword. "What did those bastards do to you?" A wicked glare comes into Ox's eye. He places a hand on the horses flank and whispers into the horses ear. The horse turns its head away and whinnies as the man removes the arrow. Luckily for horse and man the arrow hit the barding partially and while it still struck it didn't dig in, burying itself in the leather of the barding instead of the horse. "Oh you big baby! It didn't even draw blood! unlike you, we are going to have to clean those hooves." He says as he Starts to wash Noir's Muzzle. Ox listens for Kalsgrim to say the word go. ![]()

![]() If I get an action this turn due to the CLW then I will do this if not I will adjust as necessary. round2?: Ox leaps up from the ground with an almost feral look on his face. With a glance that could only be considered deranged the Cavalier spits out his thanks to the Cleric. Gorum be praised! and charges the first enemy in sight.
"Lets see how you fair in Melee!" Ox calls his challenge. 17 ac against (E5),15 against other foes. challenge(+2damage),Charge(+2atk,-2 ac) 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 221d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 ![]()

![]() oh boy! lol. The worst I've ever had to do is to dive into a local river after a drunk friend skinny dipping that found himself lacking the skills to tread water. normally that wouldn't be so bad except for the particular lack of quality for a river. though I wasn't too found of dragging his naked arse out of the water. ![]()

![]() Ox more than happy to have had the day to a bit of a hard work takes what time he can to offer his teaching services to any of the others that want to know about horse care and riding, as they already have the basics down he teaches them while they are on back as well, covering every trick and tip he can think of. He also does his best to start training the mounts as well. no sense in having trained riders with out trained mounts. Animals always seem to learn better when shown by example and Noir being the show boater he is, is more than happy to have the audience. When he isn't teaching, he is looking about to observe where they are and what else is with them. ![]()

![]() Ox takes a breathe and gets back to chopping." Those all sound like things that could use a sword in em. Maybe even the berries. I suppose that we could do the sweep you speak of and move. I'm not sure we are ready to take on the stag lord just yet. and I wouldn't mind getting the old man to the temple, now that that mad bear is gone. It seems a waste to have him sit their blind if he could have his vision back. he shrugs as if it is just a suggestion. ![]()

![]() Ox finished his food and rose with Adams, patting his brother on the shoulder. " Garick and I would be happy to help you with the chores. Chopping wood is my forte, and you will find that Garick here is a steady hand with any animal he crosses. I'm fond of horses my self, but I suppose having a bear for a companion could come in quite handy " If Adams tries to refuse Ox will continue. I'm sure you wouldn't offer such hospitality with out letting us help lighten your load. speaking of which , can I help you restock the stables, I fear our horses were as hungry and thirsty as we were. ![]()

![]() Ox tenses at Janku's out burst he readies himself to handle the cleric as needed. mostly for his sake. He isn't sure how great of a druid, you'd have to be to work at this level, but at the very least he doesn't want to extract Janku from a giant bears maw. His hand goes out to Garrick who his hand clenches on holding him in his seat. He knows all to well that his brother would like to have words with him. a stern look to his brother that is met with grinding teeth. nows not the time.Ox says to Garick with a hope that he will listen and amazingly he does so. You know I don't Kal. Adams I am sorry about that, He is enthusiastic for battle and Gorum. I wouldn't mind getting the stag lord handled, the sooner we do, the sooner he isn't out there plotting who knows what. I appreciate your hospitality in spite of the lack of manners displayed here. He shoots Kal a look that says he wants to put an end to the bad manner's, its one thing to be awkward in social circles and another to disrespect a man's home. ![]()

![]() assuming that nothing crazy happens in the stable, if so I'd be happy to go back and play it out. Ox too notices the look on Kal's face and deigns to give him a distracted moment or three " Adam's I have to say your land is a sight for sore eyes, The orchards and, well just the feel of the place, its soothing. I can tell you have way with the land and I mind for hard work, I'm impressed with it. Ox rubs the back of his head bashfully as if he has complimented him too much.He then realizes the request that Adams made.SO you wanted to hear more of the tale. We met Vekkel out at bokkens place and he charged us with catching and killing the beast, he said he'd give the man that brought him the head of Tuskgutter his fine bow. So, we set out and tracked the beast down to his lair and we fought him and he fought us, all of our lives on the line. In the end the tough son of an archer fell to us and we licked our wounds and feasted well. Vekkel was so thrilled that he left the bow to lord Kalsgrim, and I think he has a mind to settle in at Oleg's. He takes a breathe and listens to any comments the man might have before posing his question. SO, you said that Your Apprentice had a task, may I ask what it was? Perhaps it is something we could help with while we are out handing the stag lord his end? ![]()

![]() Ox nods to himself as if that confirms his theory, the animals are working for Adams. But that is ok with him. If they are better served running an orchard then that suits him. He stables the horses off as necessary and gives them a quick once over making sure their saddles are riding fine and then their hooves as well just to ensure they didn't take any brambles on the trail. Satisfied he feeds and waters the animals. He will pay Adams so long as he will take it. that much feed would ‘t come cheap. He smiles to Servayn and Ember. “ I wouldn’t be so sure of that, I think this place is enchanted. As Ox passes the bear he nods at the smaller version, if smaller was the right word. ![]()

![]() Ox will hop down and lead the horses with Garick toward the stable. He can't help but admire the work that has gone into this land, knowing good and well how much grit goes into life at the Lodovka estate. He wonders idly if any of the animals pitch in around here, he has heard odd things of druids...not to mention rangers. He raises his eyebrow at Garick and smirks. " I like him. I just have a feeling that I do." ![]()

![]() Smushing his brother in a bear hug grip, " Anytime, THough if it wasn't for Noir we would've both just sank down there, I might have saved ya from being devoured, but we would of drowned anyway. If it weren't for the beautiful beast." He calls the big horse, who trouts over almost shyly. he pets the stead and removes the saddle and lets him have freedom of it for a bit, he also checks for anywhere where the saddle might have moved in a way it shouldn't have while he was yanking on it via the rope. "good work fellas! He looks to Kals bounty of coins. Platnium! Where the heck are we going to spend plat out here? ![]()

![]() round4: Ox got a good hold around his brothers chest and then wound the rope around his arm and tugged with all his might, It was something that Noir would hate, and hopefully know what to do because of it. If that didn't work hopefully one of the others would notice the rope getting taunt and smack the best on the butt.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12 I haven't been taking advantage of the +4 I get due to the link Noir and Ox have. ![]()

20 points of that my brother damage. I'll spend my last two ap on a nat 20 for that swim check and embrace that overspend feature. I think seeing his brother in that state has him going with heroic effort.
