I'm really sorry guys. 4 weeks ago I started a second job to try to make ends meet. I had hoped to be able to keep up, but working 70 hours a week is not leaving me any time for meaningful posts and seeing the unread posts pile up is honestly causing me anxiety instead of being a fun creative outlet.
I need to cut my games way back to preserve some sanity. Again, I'm really sorry to have to pull the plug on this game, but I need to do a little self-care. Best of luck going forward.

Orin keeps the best notes he can about the watches plans and actions, knowing the report to Hemlock would be incomplete if not recorded while fresh.
He finds himself incredibly grateful for Diego and the others stepping into leadership roles and focuses his time on assuring townsfolk that the threat has been dealt with.
as for my diplomacy, as it says in my bio, Orin didn't earn his place on the watch with his swordarm :)

Orin goes along with the first group to re-enter the dungeon. After that, he is more comfortable letting less well guarded groups go in.
He also assists with his limited magic wherever needed.
my diplomacy is +12, so per Alistair's wishes, Orin takes the lead in bartering the sale of the goods. You already responded so I won't bother rolling. :)

prior to the door opening, Orin expends the last bit of his magic to try to close some of Diego's wounds.

Orin moves closer to the front for a proper look, using his limited magic to aid him.

Orin nods, still loosening his muscles a bit. Refreshing the light while the others form up.

"Nice work, Nico." Orin finally says, shaking off the last of the paralysis. "Hard to believe such dangers were lurking under our feet for...who even knows how long. Keep your eyes peeled for any others."

Gathering the group up, Orin gives a suggested plan to advance, and a bit of a pep talk.
"Diego on point, Alistair second, Lief third, then Nico she's a better shot than me, then me and Jepp last. Sound good?"
Activating Careful teamwork.
Careful Teamwork (Su): A detective uses performance to keep allies coordinated, alert, and ready for action. All allies within 30 feet gain a +1 bonus on Initiative checks, Perception, and Disable Device checks for 1 hour. They also gain a +1 insight bonus on Reflex saves and to AC against traps and when they are flat-footed. These bonuses increase by +1 at 5th level and every six levels thereafter. Using this ability requires 3 rounds of continuous performance, and the targets must be able to see and hear the bard throughout the performance. This ability is language-dependent and requires visual and audible components.

Orin moves forward, next to Nico, then drops his lighted stone.

Also impressed by this new, non sleep deprived, Lief, Orin assists the sketch by alternating his light between the statue and the vellum. He also casts detect magic, looking over the statue and the weapon.

As the door opens, Orin rolls the stone with light on it into the room. Then readies his bow.

Moving forward, Orin drops the stone carrying his light spell and attempts to get off a shot before the others move in.

Orin follows behind Diego and Alistair, having them side by side if the tunnel allows. finding a small stone, he casts light on it and holds it high enough to be useful as they walk. refreshing it each round as a standard action
"If all we find down here is a witch, we'll be lucky."

"I certainly understand the emotions behind the fate of this creature. The Glassworks was a truly gruesome scene. But we did promise leniency for his cooperation, and hid did provide it. We will release it at nightfall, outside the city." Orin says, clearly bothered by the fact that his decision seems to go against at least a few of the group.
it won't be possible to level until I get home, but it will be a second level of bard.

Orin rushes over to Amieko, dropping his bow, but holding on to the roped Fugh. After cutting the rope, He whispers a few incantations and does his best to treat the wounds.

"Are you awake, Miss Kaijitsu? Can you stand?"

"A quick charge, followed by subduing! What did you think I meant?!" Orin rasps, clearly becoming exasperated.

"Assuming you are correct, it is also likely that the snoring is a ruse. If it is the half elf, the ranged weapons of Nico and I will be more difficult to make use of than your swords in the tight space. And I'd suggest a quick charge into the room, rather than a stealthy one." Orin replies, motioning the plan into action.

Once the order is set, they proceed. If lighting becomes an issue, Orin casts light and refreshes it each round as they go.

Looking around quickly for rope or something else to secure the little beast, he then ties the creature tightly. (If unable to find rope, he will use his belt.)

Orin takes stock of the situation and formulates a plan.
"No one knows we are on our way here, and there could be more goblins inside. Jaymin, I'd like you to go back to the barracks and record todays activities and our plan in the log books. that way if we vanish, someone can pick up the trail." Orin says, still feeling a bit off giving orders.
"The rest of us are going in, by hook or by crook." he says after Jaymin trots off.

Drawing his sword, Orin looks to Diego, "The not-so-subtle way, my stalwart friend." he says, motioning him to 'have a chat with the door'.
