Annoyed, Oren flies back at the blue boggard and strikes at it viciously!
He then flies over and takes a vicious swing at the spellcaster with his maul!
Oren isn't frightened in the least by the boggard's croaking, having faced much worse than boggards at this point in the journey. And he effortlessly shrugs off the cold orb it sends his way. He then gives an intimidating roar of his own back at the boggard, before taking a vicious swing at it!
Now in range of the deinosuchus, Oren uses the most of his height and considerable strength to make himself as physically imposing as possible, in order to come off as the alpha predator and scare this beast. Then, he swings viciously with his maul!
Retcon: Oren will simply move his canoe next to the creature in order to attack next round. Using Assurance for a 24 on the Athletics check
Oren apparently misses that Lisi's not in the boat anymore, but even still, he makes full use of his height and muscle to come off as physically imposing as possible to the creature before lashing out viciously with his halberd!
As danger seemed to be approaching, Oren put the oar down near Lisi and pulled out his maul. "Be ready to take over. I'm a lot better with this in a fight than I am with an oar."
"Let's get going then." He nods and enters the other boat, taking an oar.

Following Yasamina's direction, Oren grabs onto his maul and takes a huge swing at the pillar, before taking a smaller one.
As the battle starts, Oren flies into a rage. Seeing that this creature is in the air and out of his reach, he takes a step to the south and then shoots out a blast of fire at the bida! DC24 Reflex Save for half
Oren just opts to take the simpler approach, walking up to the pillar and smashing the damn thing.
Oren takes up next to Yasamina, maul in hand. "I'll go with you then."
Oren has leveled up
"Altaerein. We should get back there, since there's nothing else to do."
Oren nods in response to Yasami. "Both of those sound good. Certainly better than being alone, at any rate."

Oren is hardly a wordsmith, something that by now, his entire team should know, as well as the people of Breachill. But Dario was one of them, so he doesn't feel like he can let his death go unspoken for. "Dario was one of us. Our battles were his battles and our victories were his victories. But this loss is ours to bear, because he is no longer here to share it. All we can do is remember his bravery and honor his sacrifice by continuing to fight for the cause he took up and emerging victorious. May he find peace and rich rewards in the next life."
I'll take a Potion of Quickness for Oren.
And I think we still need Caiten and Oren's (up to) level 8 consumable picks. Oh crap, I missed all this convo. I'll look at some consumables
Oren smiles and nods at Yasami as she mentions how she used to make a living. "That would be very nice to see."
Oren gives Catalina a smile and a nod as she asks about him. "Surprisingly, yes. I had a good night of sleep last night." When asked to accompany Yasami and Catalina to town, he agrees. "I'll join you. I think that it's a good idea."
Last night: Oren drinks the ale that Roxie leaves for him, more out of politeness than anything else. He remains for a solid half hour, before ducking out at the earliest opportunity. He goes back to the Wizard's Grace, checking in for the night. Today: Oren wakes up, honestly surprised that after everything that's happened, he hasn't had any dreams at all. He eats a quick breakfast, before making his way back to rejoin everyone else. "Sorry. I needed to clear my head last night."
"I don't have anything against the wine or ale." Oren says, slowly. "It just feels odd, being here, and drinking, after everything."
Oren stepped away to have a drink and some food, which somehow resulted in him being led over to the less favorable drinking establishment in town, which was...fine, even if he didn't know any of these people. When Roxie gets a round for everyone, he doesn't partake, but he also doesn't stop her from doing so.
"I'll also go into town. It's been a while."
Oren shrugs in response to Yasami and Catalina. "When I first came here for the Call, I brought enough clothes for three or four days, so it was easy to pack it all up and take it to the Mwangi Expanse."
Oren makes a semi-relieved, semi-amused expression in response to Yasami. "I brought enough sets of clothing for me to not be wearing the same thing every day, but nothing crazy." He looks at Yasami going through it with the lock. "Are you sure that you don't need me to bust down the door?"
Oren was just about to relax as he crossed over into the safety of the citadel, a place where not too long ago it seemed like he might never see again. But then he heard Yasami say something about a lingerie locker for him and Catalina joins in too. "What?! He says in response to the both of them. "I do not have a lingerie locker! How many sets of underwear do you think I have?"
"I'm good with that"
Yeah. Atm, I can't think of anything for Oren, outside of potions.
Oren listens on as Sulee, Caiten, Lisi, and Catalina go on about how much mercy they show their enemies. Oren himself was no philosopher and while he wasn't an idiot, he had trained himself to fight, not deal with moral quandaries that couldn't be dealt with by striking it with a hammer until it no longer moved. But seeing as how this seemed to be weighing on Caiten, it felt worth it to chip in. "All the people we befriended back at Breachill. If not for us, those cultists would kill every last one of them without thinking about it, or release Dahak, who would do the same and give them less of a chance to fight back. We aren't here to release an evil god that will burn the world, I think that being ruthless against those who are won't make us as evil as them."
"Might as well drop the fog. It would make this process go a lot faster."
"We could, yes. The pillar itself only stunned me a little with its beam. Compared to the others we've encountered, this one isn't a threat at all."
Narrating it would be the best way of dealing with it if the voidworms aren't a threat and the pillar itself only stuns.
Oren shakes off the wooziness from the last blast to run up to the second Naunet and strike it full force with Foehammer!
Oren grunts at the bite, but he shakes off the naunet's stupefying powers.
And while the beam catches him by surprise, his resolve holds firm and he resists whatever it was going to try and do to him. His enemy now in range, Oren steps up and takes a swing at the Naunet! "My turn."
After giving the Naunet a nasty headache, Oren strides back, hopefully out of the totem's range and closer to his friends.
Seeing the flying creatures come over, Oren flies into a rage, takes a deep breath, and lets out a great cone of flame aimed at the creatures in the sky! DC23 Reflex Save to take half of fire damage!
I've got a question, since I don't see those two things on a map, but are they flying in a line one behind the other?
There's nothing really that Oren can do in this surprise round, unfortunately. The limited ranged options he has are all within 30 feet. Next round though, he can get in the action.
Nothing really noticeable narratively for Oren, other than he's slightly faster. His Level 7 upgrades just allow him to hit harder, be more Athletic, and do better at Fortitude saves.
"I agree with shooting it, especially since we don't know what it does and I'm not in any rush to find out what it does." Oren humphs. "It was easy when they had the pillars be the same colors as the dragons, but I've never seen or heard of a purple dragon before."
Duly noted. Also, I think that Yasami meant Isger. Irrisen is a little too far north and a bit too cold for this party.
