All great responses. I can use this all at some point and appreciate it.

Thanks for your thoughts

Definitely a gritty type game. The city's laws are for the most part 'enforced' and the watch did intervene during the poisoning and apprehend a few low level street thugs. There is a mystique with the watch that will take hold in the next adventure where some are not whom they seem to be.

I am curious to know of other ideas besides my own with this scenerio.

My players have been hired to figure out who poisoned an actor during a performance and have them brought to justice. They are about to figure out the assailant is along with his henchman. The city watch has been involved with the party since the poisoning at the theater. There is a final combat going to happen once they run into the assailant and his thugs. I have planned on the watch arriving once the combat ends but, knowing my players and how players are...how would you handle the watch arriving as the players are looting those defeated? I can go either way on whether the assailant is killed or not, mostly bc he will trigger the combat. Just curious as to how the watch may handle the looting.

Makes sense, thanks!

Can a Magus strike with weapon, take a 5 foot step and then cast his spell?

When it comes to lamps and lanterns, I assume any can be extinguished by water expect for the waterproof lantern? The descriptions do not specify other than the waterproof one.

Have a player in my game who uses a bow as their main weapon. He is part cleric and as the ability enlarge person, he is wanting to craft large arrows since arrows would shrink to their normal size and do normal damage.

Looking for thoughts from GMs on how they would handle this. I've never had this sort of request before. My thinking would be hauling these larger arrows around could be an inconvenience and get in the way when he is normal size. Plus the added weight of the larger item.

Thanks all!

Yes he believes he can take it once for both. My ruling was its 2 different types of bows which will require it twice(once for longbow and once for hornbow).

Does WF handle all bows, whether short, long or composite and ones listed as exotic weapons?

Have a player in my game who want to prestige class and needs wep focus longbow, but is working towards Point Blank Master & uses the hornbow which also requires wep focus.

So can he take WF Hornbow and be good.

Thanks!!!

Ok, I figured that's how it worked but was confirming.

Thanks

How do these work? I heard they are unlimited but each caster has a set number of 0 level spells for each level.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the feedback, of great info provided. Most of this was also my consensus, but just wanted to see other feedback for peace of mind.

Thanks!

A player in an upcoming game wants to play a Dushwalker and they are unknown Racial Points. How would you GMs point the race out? I do not want to OP races and I feel. in looking at the race, it might be to OP.

Here a link: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/races/other-races/more-races/race-points-unknown/d uskwalker/

Thanks!

Lots of good points and info. As far as the miss chance, I like the idea of making attack rolls, then doing miss chance bc of the variants that can modify attack rolls.

Rest is more a flavor thing and can be played all the ways mentioned.

Thanks for all the info.

I figured the MC could be rolled before or after. Handled the equipment the same. Seemed a bit off when playing it though.

So a Pixie in my campaign has this Su and it is constant. Once the Pixie is spotted does the attack roll happen, then the Miss Chance is then rolled, or vice versa?

Also, when the creature is damaged by ranged weapons are the arrows/bolts visible when they hit?

I figured thats all ot was, just looking to clarify.

I have a PC wanting to muticlass. Witch if 1st level and she want to add a Druid level. Since Witches are not proficient with armor and Druid can use light, is her only penalty for where armor on the wiche's somatic spells plus normal non-proficiency penalties?

Thanks

I have a player in my game who is like triple classing and Sacred Huntmaster is one archetype he going. He claims he gets all the AC abilities listed here: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/druid/animal-companions/

I am wondering if he is correct in this.

Do all classes who get Animal Companions use all the Druid class features when it comes to said companions?

S&S is an AP I wanted more of a one shot adventure. Ill have to look into AtSL.

I am in need of a adventure that has a slavery concept to it. I like including my players backstories into the campaign world and one of them that I am working has a theme involving slavery and I do not know of a module that has slave traders or such in it.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks all, cleared up the interpretation for me.

Can a Paladin use a tower shield by taking the tower shied feat, even though the class feature says:

Paladins are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).

If so, does using two-wep fighting figure to be 4 total attacks w/ normal added modifiers?

I missed spoke here I meant 3 attacks(MH/OH/MH) not 4. So the -5 is calculated into the +1.

The -2 across all shots for Rapid Fire.

Awesome thanks!!!

A few questions on this. Sorry if this has been covered before.

6th level BAB is +6/+1, does the +1 grant a second attack to a PC +1(+ all other normal mods; i.e. abilities; magic weps etc.)?

If so, does using two-wep fighting figure to be 4 total attacks w/ normal added modifiers?

Also the Feat Rapid Shot grant a 3rd attack at +1 w/ normal added modifiers?

Haven't thought of the Oracle class, will look into it although Im not wanting her to be a spellcaster.

I've looked at Tremorsense and do like it although I think that'll have to be GM sold/approval. In looking at Sense that really looks as if it will work.

Blind Fight I think might work in rereading it. I'm not wanting her not being able to see as a hindrance, more like all her other senses have increased or maybe even her body created another sense(i.e. enhanced perception) to make up for the loss of sight.

So I am looking to build a different type of character than I normally build. The concept is a blind sword wielder in which her ability to not see is not an hindrance.

Ive looked throught the Feats and Blind Fight doesnt appear to do what I need it to do. Also I didnt see anything in the Traits that would work either.

Is there any advice out there that could help in building this character. Thanks in advance!

So I am starting a new game and my rogue player want a fake document in his possession stating he works for some high level lord. I know he can make it with Ling. skill but he can not afford the Forge kit.

He wants to buy one but i have no idea how to price it for him. Any help here appreciated, this is a first for me.

Slayer is also an option as I'm not entirely sure I want a full rogue.

Probably the route I'm going to go. Will use Unchained version of I can.

I may go the route of Dex. and switch up the feats. Being human I'll start with 2.

I was wanting a 2 wep rogue.

Was going to grab Double Slice to add Str. bonus to offhand.

I figure the penalty will negate itself is time.

Yes. Then plan for PC is TWF feat and then Wep focus for free at 2nd since its a Rogue. -2/-2 to start out isn't to bad for the first couple levels.

Ok makes sense. Thanks

Can you two wep fight with 2 short swords w/o penalty since a sh. sword is a light wep?

Thanks all! Just wanted to make sure. Just returning to PF from a couple year break.

Are Wizards ti only class that needs to prepare their spells? i.e. they have to memorize specific spells?

Celrics, Bards, Druids etc. can cast any spells available to them at their level without preparing them? i.e. cast X number of 1st level spells, no matter the spell without memorizing it?

Any players or GMs in the area? Just moved back to MS and am looking to game! 20+ yrs RPG XP.

I might be able to help out, but I live over in MS gulf coast so there would be a bit of travel. If you are still looking that is...

Is there anyway to get a sub-forum added to the Gamer Connection? Such as a forum for each state or by region w/ particular states in it.

It would make it easier for everyone to find games in there area easier than combing through the entire forum looking for a post w/ your current location in it. Especially for us who are in areas where there isn't a big RPG community.

I think what he's saying is have a sub-forum for each state that way you can go directly there instead of combing through the entire section looking for a specific location.

I for one wish we had a sub-forum on here.

I like the sound of the VTT, sounds more like what Id really enjoy. Ill look into VTT.

Ah OK the forum comes up w/ your die roll through a type of Xcell formula.

When it comes to die rolls is it all based on your own honesty as to what you roll or is the some online program used to generate the die rolls?
