I'm not 100% ready to commit to GMing, but these are some of the questions a GM would be thinking?

Thanks. But how much can it hold? I should have said: We are using the PFS level 7 pregens. The Kineticist doesn't give us all the info we want:

As you level up, could you also tell us all some of the highlights that level 2 means for your character. This will help the players to work to each others strengths. It will also help me as GM.

Thanks for the feedback. One of the things I have recognised is that I am not as good as describing what is in my head as I would like to be. I have trouble getting my descriptions into a GM post. For example, Kadaxin was meant to be a boss fight, but I don't think I made that clear. He was also meant to be an orc as another indication of a boss-fight, but I wrote goblin in my notes then transferred that mistake to the game. The elves were coming at the end of that round regardless of how the fight went. Tobold put Kadaxin to -3 (from memory) with his final acid squirt. In terms of balance, Kadaxin was meant to be very challenging. I chose to add the wolf-mount when there were four players so I am very glad Tobold took care of it early on. Khazak took a great chunk of Kadaxin's hit points, but with his lay-on-hands ability as a swift action when healing himself Kadaxin was always going to fight to the death - though that was not his intention. He had 36 hp, and returned 16 hp to himself through healing. I wanted the elves to come along to save the day (whether or not you won) just as happened in the book. The elves are now an opportunity to rest a moment and reappraise what your mission is and what to do next. And to heal. The elves heal you back to full hit points. I think I would like to stick with three players - I will need to craft encounters more carefully for the rogue, cleric, sorcerer combo that we have.

DING! Level up! Time to re-evaluate. Have you enjoyed the game?
Do you enjoy three players? Do you want four or more?
Do you enjoy the game? Is it what you expected? Is it what you want?
If you want to know the mechanics behind Kadaxin Shadowash:
He is from the NPC Galler (IIRC). He is as written on paper a Gnome Paladin 4. I chose to reflavour this as a goblin anti-paladin without changing any of the stats or details (other than Smite Evil became Smite Good, racial +1 against goblinoids became +1 against humanoids and ranks in Diplomacy became ranks in Ride, and I gave him a wolf mount. Please discuss with the aim of creating a better game for all of us.
One player was looking to run it himself, but now I am offering to do so. I want to switch things around a bit so that it is still a bit of a mystery for him. Here's some first thoughts, though I am here to ask you for something better. Ameiko and Tsuto are both evil, and the exchange of letters and kidnapping is all a ruse to ambush the PCs. The shopkeeper's daughter is later revealed to be Nualia. Sherrif Hemlock takes on Aldern Foxglove's role, though Aldern still becomes obsessed with one of the PCs. Hemlock flirts mildly with a PC. Have you got something better for me?

I think Peony has left the pbp realm, there has been no posts from that account since mid-August. I could recruit for one more or we could continue on with three. Either way, I'd like to finish this combat first. What should we do about Peony right now? I could GM-PC her, or one of you could play her, or some other option... what do you think?
If the people at Paizo are getting restless they should look at an alternate product, IMHO. Pathfinder works fine and a significant portion of their fan base comes from the edition war, let's not disenfranchise them. (I'm regretting that I mentioned the war already.) Oh wait, they are already doing alternate products with the Adventure Card Game, Pathfinder Tales, audio books... Good move.

Okay, I'm having trouble finding time to reignite this game. I was meant to move into our new house a week ago, but the solicitors hadn't done their jobs. We expect we will move in late next week, but don't actually have a date yet. Everything is in boxes waiting to be moved, including my computer, and clothes other than shirt and tie for work. I'm amazed my kids are so patient with it all. I am very keen to keep this game going again. Thank you for your patience.

I am heading to Melbourne for the next four or five days. I'm not sure that I'll be able to post. On the other hand I might have a lot of time on my hands. I have to wait and see what happens. Either way I am very keen to keep this game going.

Thanks for the regular posting guys. The game is moving along nicely and I am rather enjoying it. I am quit glad that I decided to go with only four players - in the past I have had bigger parties and it is a lot of work. Four players isn't too bad for a workload.
Whilst refreshing My Campaigns page I found myself wishing for an alternative to PbP. Wouldn't it be great if we could get the players in our PbP games together in the same room. We'd need some way to allow them to post spontaneously, maybe permitting them to vocalise their turn, and something RL to replace the dice-roller. I'd probably even provide some food and drinks. Anyway, that's my wishful thinking for tonight...

I hope that it will run more smoothly in PbP, that my reinterpretation of the rules makes things clearer, and that my DCs here are about right. Tolbold Cotton wrote: Just as a suggestion you might want to do initiatives in the future as I think it speeds up things a bit, but it's up to you. Yes, you're right. I'll go fix that now.

The chase rules in short: Each turn choose one of the obstacle's options and attempt to overcome it to move through that obstacle.
You can only make melee attacks (or similar actions) when you're at the same obstacle as your quarry at the start of your turn. You are considered to be engaged in combat with your enemy at the same obstacle. If they attempt to overcome the obstacle you do gain an Attack of Opportunity against them.

Mike Selinker wrote: Just to be extremely precise: The minimum result for the *roll* is 0, not the minimum for each die. So if you roll a 4, a 4, and a 1, and subtract 3 from each die, you get a result of 0, not 3. Sorry, but since the cards say ”subtract one from each die rolled", doesn't your example result in 2? 4 - 3 = 1

It seems Grifo and Tobold have included the Favoured Class bonus, and seeing as I would've also done this I'd like to give Khazak and Peony the opportunity to add the Favoured Class bonus too. EDIT, page 31, it is Core.

I'm also going through your character sheet for accuracy. Please do not take offence but I will be asking about little details. And I'll get to everyone during the week. Tobold: I think you forgot about the Small size penalty to CMB and CMD. And you AC etc is different from you profile to character sheet (I guess the profile one is correct).
