Ob looks at Janira "I didn't see anything of an aboleth or ancient Azlant. We did see a Gillman but he seemed to be deep in meditation and told us to go away. We continued on and found some undead, animated gilmen. Then we fought a Jelly creature and heard your voice, continuing to the surface

I'm a 4 star GM. To answer someone else's question I run both online and in Pullman, WA. Ob moves 30' away potentially provoking? and proceeds to blast the creature will cold again. RTA: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Against cover touch Cold Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Ob lets another blast of cold forth. It seems susceptible to cold. perhaps if we freeze it the jelly will stop lumbering forward.

Ob smiles as he sees the effectiveness of his ice slick. Not wanting to push his limits he lets the current one fade and tries to freeze the standing zombie. Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 Against Cover touch AC

Another very simple thing is to simply have players enter delay if they've gone over 24 hours without posting. Note if only a player is ahead of you (not an NPC) you should be posting your actions, then modifying only if the earlier player negates that course of action.

I was waiting for the undead in the initiative order. Sorry It was unclear to me that they'd gone Ob surveys the attacking creatues and calls forth a slick of water on the floor to halt their advance. DC 15 reflex save or go prone for the two zombies in it. It will replicate grease for 1 round. At the beginning of my next round I can choose to take a point of burn to extend it beyond 1 round

Ob writes in his journal. Lone gilman found so far in caves. He appears to be less interested with the ancient reliefs and instead much more interested in a pool of water. Inside the pool are offerings of ancient coins, stones, and loops of string. There is a miniature city carved in the center of the pool. The gilman is deep in meditation and refusing the to speak with us further. Ob says " Well, i suppose if he wants to be left alone, we should respect his wishes and further explore the caves. "

Ob looks around, trying to see if he can point anything else out.
Ob addresses the Celeb. "Explore, Report, Cooperate. You might want to lower your bow until you see a threat. We're here to see the reports of Gilmen, and find out there purpose here, not riddle them with arrows. Or our halfling friend could find her way down here by an alternate path. He then writes of the self-sacraficing behavior of Janira, and how it allowed them to find these caves with many ancient reliefs, of which he personally see very little of...

He would certainly speak Aquan and Common. Embarrassed to say I didn't actually stat up his languages. He'd probably have a scholarly language for his 2nd language, either Azlanti or Draconic. Since it can have relevance in this game, I've GMed this 5+ times, and I didn't pick, I'll leave it to you to decide what/if his 2nd language can apply.

Ob ponders. If he was only more in touch with the aquan plane he could form a sheet of ice over the pit or water to make it a non-hazard. He then states "I can probably jump it, but there is no use splitting up. I'll follow the rest of you. "

Ob follows Janira's counsel and the rest of the group's actions. "Run as fast as your halfling legs can carry you Janira." He enters the cave, despite wanting to use his mastery over ice to trip the beast and give Janira a better head start.

Ob curses as the beast breaks free from his arm, Foul arse for brains horse birds. We're not food! He then moves back 5' step and blasts the beast with the fury of the elements. Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 = 12 No Cover, have precise shot

Ob looks towards the strange creatures that are intent on making him and his friends a meal. You've picked the wrong group. He ponders briefly what the creature is: He then steps 5' step next to the old man and readies an action to blast the first one to get in range. (Assuming they approach), presumably against creature 2 as it is just after me in initiative Ob fires off a blast of freezing energy at the creature, but it manages to strike aimlessly in the sky. Ob muses, " The fist of Torag, thats what dwarfs refer to when the ale has defeated their constitution I thought. No matter, I am also a master of the elements, utilizing hydrokinesis. I studied long hours in the Grand Lodge and have not infact been on any field missions worth of a chronicle so far. One trick I learned from Master Zey was if you place the water on the ground you can bring your foes down, and although it doesn't help me much, pathfinders are all about cooperation.

A man in flowing robes, with the glint of metal armor beneath walks in. "Thanks Master Shaine. I am Ob, and honored to be beginning my ... He continues as he watches the master of scrolls leave. He then extends his hand towards the halfling. Well met Janira. I've been studying and am excited to be starting my confirmation. Is there anything else you saw in the caves or on your confirmation you think we should be wary of? He then sits at the table, listening to Janira. |
