Hello there!

I just watched the Mandalorian TV show (yeah I'm kind of late to the party) and for my next pathfinder game I wanted to play a ranged Bounty Hunter with a lot of toys to disable and catch his prey or kill them when not possible.
If I can have some out of fight skills, it would be a plus.

Thanks a lot for your advice.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll check all that.

Hello,
I was trying to make an illusion/shadow based bard.
I wanted to take the Brazen Deceiver archetype and some spell focus on illusion school.
How would you build it? I like the idea of the bard who can buff his teammates but do you think a sorcerer with the umbral bloodline and archetype might do better?
Thanks for your advice

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a build for a bloodrager.
I'm playing a demon trapped on a body that sometimes unleashes and maul his adversaries with his claws.
I was going for the bloodrager with the a abyssal bloodline but I don't know what feats to take. I'm beginning at level 1 with a 20 points build.
If you have an idea that might fit more the theme I'm open to changes.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I'm looking for an idea for my character.
I want to be able to fight well with a bow/crossbow/pistol/musket and at the same time being able to buff my teammates.
But, as I usually play Spellcasters, I would like a class that don't use many spells for a change.
We'll play from level 1 to 15 with a slow progression.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Thanks.

Yes, those are rolled stats without modifier. And I can choose alternate race modifier.

The fact that it will be similar to the other player is what we are looking for.
We were looking for a good cop bad cop vibe as he is playing a tiefling and I'm playing the aasimar.

Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a build to play a ranged aasimar using only a gun or a crossbow (I can have a free repeating crossbow proficiency).

I was looking eventually for the holy gun paladin archetype but I don't know if it's good.

My characteristics are 16 14 14 12 12 10 and I can move 4 points but not less than 10.

We will be playing from level 1 to 15 with a slow progression.

The other players are playing a musket master and a melee monk.

I'm open to all classes.

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much for all your advice.
I'm keeping all that in a corner of my mind but after a discussion with the other players we'll be creating a group of outsiders (mainly celestials and fiends) lost on the material plane. I'm still not sure what race but it's a another thinking ;)
But thanks again for your time.

Hello everyone,

I'm starting a new campaign and I'm looking for ideas.

We are going to play a group of fiends and/or celestial who have been summoned imperfectly on the material plane. We'll start level 1 to 15.

In term of rules, we will be playing normal races (tieflings, aasimars, fetchlings,...) and have access to almost all the official PF classes and archetypes.
We will be 3 players. We already have a erynie swashbuckler who will use her "smile" to disrupt her opponents before stabbing them. The third player is a new one so I think it won't be too fancy.

I was thinking of a bloodrager with the abyssal bloodline. When raging he will be closer to his original form and fighting with claws.
Or a shadow sorcerer confusing and messing with his ennemies mind.

I'm open to a LOT of things as long as it fit the theme. It won't be a dark and serious campaign and I really don't need it to be overpower and optimized. I will always prefer something fun and with a roleplay potential.

Thank you for reading!

Oh really nice ideas.
As you noticed Gray Warden, I usually choose a race that I like, then think of a story and finally pick a class that might suits me.

But that's plenty of ideas! I like the kenku, It looks nice and can be a lot of fun. But now that you mention the grippli it's really appealing!

I'll check the Create new race system, thanks for pointing it out Ryze Kuja.

If another ideas pop up do not hesitate!
Thanks a lot!

Hello everyone,
I'm starting a new campaign and I'm thinking about my character. I always loved to play non human characters (and I mean no small human, no bearded human, no tall and pointed ears human). As I have the nicest DM I already played a goblin, a gnoll, a dragon (so hard to keep it not too powerfull.).
I thought of not so diffucult ones: kobold, a small ratling or vanara (yeah, I would love it to be small or smaller.). I was thinking of an imp but I can't find a good template.
If you have any suggestions I'm open to almost anything.
Thanks for your help.
Have a good day !

(Sorry for the writing mistakes english is not my native tongue.)

So, thanks again for everyone. Lots of good things!
I followed your advice, and talked to the inquisitor. Turns out he didn't have a real plan on what to do but is interested in making a duo of melee character. So, how can I make a nice mounted halfling teaming with his dwarf buddy? Thanks a lot!

He is a dwarf, of course he have a nice hammer ;)
As I said, sadly, I don't have more informations about him.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Thank you all for your advice!
To answer you, Dave, I don't really know what kind of inquisitor it is. He got a nice hammer, and a big armor but a medium strength... So I guessed he must be range.
I think I will be the main, if not the only melee guy.
I was thinking a mounted halfing or I'm curious about the Desna shooting star and bard buffing. I also remember I read a while ago a rogue bluff build with a reach weapon who did plenty of sneak and a auto crit when he bluffs, does that ring a bell to someone? I think that for damage sneak with a reach weapon might be interesting.

Hello everyone,
I'm joining a party (Curse of the Crimson Throne) and I wanted an advice on what would be useful for the group.
They already have a caster druid, a ranged rogue and a not so melee inquisitor.
I was planning a melee character, to protect these ranged fools, but I don't know what to build.
I have only a few requests, I want to play a small race (gnome or halfing but open to others), ideally not a fighter (not a fan of the class fantasy) and I don't like multi classing. They are level 2 and, if I'm not wrong, the AP goes to 13-15.
If you want other informations to help me I'll try to answer as fast as I can.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hello everyone,

I read, over and over that synthesist were really overpowered. And I really don't want an overpowered character.

But when I read about this archetype, I had an idea, a frail gnome in a mech suit protecting his friends.

So I'm looking for advice, not to make the most powerful character (we already have a rogue and an inquisitor in the group who tried their best to max their damages), but to create a great controller that will prevent them of being crushed by our enemies.

We will start at level 1 up to level 13-15 depending on how we roll.
For ability scores we have 10/12/12/12/14/16 to assign and we can change 3*2 points. I don't plan on having less than 8 on strength or dexterity. Once again, I don't want to be overpowered but fun and useful for the group.
I can use all paizo books for creating the character.

Thank you very much for reading me and for your help!
