Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Likewise.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"Ya, was fun. I am pretty sure I got most of the pictures, although I might have missed one or two."

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Divert Power to Shields (DC 14): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 That's one point of shield per arc.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody will Divert Power to Shields in an attempt to power them back up.

Engineering vs. DC 14: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16 I restore 4 shields, dispersed evenly between the quadrants. Our science officer can rebalance the shields as needed.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Remember that all weapon damage rolls that are 1s count as 2s.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Null sweat chummer. It's a new system of a new system, and the only reason I know nearly as much about it as I do is that I run pretty much all of the SFS games at my local club.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Divert Power to Gunnery (DC 13): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

for gunnery damage rolls this turn, treat all 1s at 2s.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

BTW Stell, you don't add your computer ranks to gunnery checks. The formula is either bab+dex or piloting ranks+dex. IDRC either way, but I wanted to make sure you were aware.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Have we taken any damage? If not

Divert Power to Engines (DC 14): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

If not:

Divert Power to Shields (DC 14): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

And you can only fire a particular weapon at a target if the target I in the arc of the weapon.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

I'll boost shields.

Engineering: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

GM:

I will definitely remove the security footage of our group, and will later hack Envar's facer account and remove our pictures. Nobody will arrange payment in full to Razor from Ilia's Corporate account. He will also leave evidence on his mother's computer showing that Envar came in with representatives of Razor to steal money from the company. Not enough to outright point the finger, but enough that an interested party could "piece" it together. I'll take 10 for a 20.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

'Finn' nods and says "Okay buddy, let's get the ladies what they want." then proceeds to open up a can of whoopazz... on the password.

Computers: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

<<"Just use the card already. I'd like to get inside and get a look at that computer.">>

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody will take a look at the security system through the infosphere.

Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

You could always say something like 'hey, mind if we take a moment so I can catch my breath?'

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Medicine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Add Aids as necessary.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody moves over to Jim and beings treating his wounds.

Medicine: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody tries the same thing one last time.

Computers to use Trick Attack (vs. DC 20+cr): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21
Attack Roll vs. EAC (or Flat Footed EAC if the above succeeded): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Trick Attack Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Fort Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Seeing it's success in disabling the previous fire being, Nobody will repeat the effort.

Operative Trick Attack using Computers vs. DC 20+CR: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Attack Roll (possibly vs. Flat-Footed AC if above succeeded): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 3e
Trick Attack Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody again uses his portable computer to send out disorienting sound waves, and then shoots one while it's distracted.

Computers for Trick Attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23
Attack Roll (maybe vs. Flat-Footed): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Trick Attack Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody will move up to one of the retinal scanners and inspect it. Trying to get an idea of what the check would be to "hack" it.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

GM:

Couple of quick things: Did you see my previous question? Also, how hard would it be to try and interfere with Razor's ability to play the game, kinda like anti-aid othering? If I think I can hack her computer while they're playing the game, I'll go that route and then forward any information of illegal activities to the authorities. If I don't think I can hack her computer, then I'll instead try to interfere with Razor's ability to win.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody grumbles but doesn't say anything. Instead, he begins tapping on his miniaturized computer.

GM:

Now Nobody's pride is hurt. He's going to take a gander at Razor's computer and see how hard it would be to hack (not going to try yet, but if his password is something like p@$$word, then I probably would just make it mine. Will take a 10 for 20.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody, who was just about to return to the club, notices the Ysoki and Vesk. Waiting in the restroom a moment longer, he slides out and follows the group in. He then stealthily follows the Ysoki and company into the bar.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

As he moves in behind the Ysoki, Nobody queues up the sound of a powering up lazer pistol on his computer and then shoves a stylus into the small being's back and says "That would be a lethal mistake for your boss here. Everyone should just take a breath and calm down."

Intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Over the comms, Nobody will send out a text-to-voice message:

<<I found the location of the floor. We need to get to level three to access Ilia Tamm's office. Stell, since he has taken an interest in you, see if you can guide him into showing us a tour of that level.>>

GM:

I would like to see if I can take a look at the list of all the weapons that have been checked at the door to the eclipse lounge and see if there is anything better that we can upgrade to.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"Just a restroom at the moment. I'll get a drink on the way back."

Assuming he's given directions:

Nobody will try to blend in and make his way around the room, getting the lay of the land and trying to locate the office.

Gonna take 10 on my stealth check to blend in, and on my perception check to look for the office. That gets me a 17 stealth and a 15 perception.

After doing his initial recon, 'Finn' will make his way to the bathroom, pull out his rig, and start trying to subtly test their computer security. Ideally, I would like to pull up a map of the station so that I can have a good idea where we need to go.

Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"Here you go pal. Don't lose that now." says 'Finn' as he hands over his pistol.

As the group enters the room and looks around, Finn says "Hey, I gotta go drop the kids off at the pool." then starts looking around.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"I'm a VIP, so why wouldn't I get VIP treatment?" chuckles Finn at his own joke.

Exo-Guardians

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Male Human Operative 1

Reminder to self: pull that down later.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"Name's Edwin Finnalok, but people just call me Finn. I'm a bounty hunter and all around b@d@$$."

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Fort Save: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12 weewh!

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody passes a hand over his computer as he moves forward, which begins to radiate out almost imperceptible white noise, both above and below the hearing spectrum for Humans.

Computers Trick Attack vs. DC 20+CR: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22 If successful, he will be flat-footed against my attack, which is a -2 penalty to AC.

He will then fire his pistol at the creature.

Attack Roll vs. EAC: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Damage Roll: 1d4 ⇒ 3e Non-Lethal
Trick Attack Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Nobody will shadow box, showing off his skills.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"Of course, here are my credentials. Please, take my picture. I'll be more than happy to sign one for you too, after we win the matches!"

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

I don't think trick attack works in starship combat, but it would be awesome if it did.

I'm fine with being Engineer.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Like I said, I should probably be the science officer, but I can be a passable engineer if nobody else can fill that role.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

No offense Jim, but I like me more than I like you, so you can have the +8 =P

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"If we're talking about roles on the starship we're about to leave on, I'm most suited for Science Officer."

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Hero of the Stars it is then!

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

The only slotted boons I am taking are: Faction: Dataphile champion; Starship: Hero of the Stars (unless honorbound allies from cries from the rift is slottable (the boon says that a scenario where it applies will say if you need to slot it as a ally or starship boon).

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

I add 10 to computers to work on a disguise for Jim. does anyone have a higher bonus?

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"You can call me Nobody. I'm a hacker, cracker, and code writer. I'm pretty decent with sneaking around and lying to people, but I don't really want to kill anyone, since ultimately that just gets someone gunning for you. Better to knock them out or tie them up, accomplish your mission, and the be on your way. It makes waaay less enemies in life that way."

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"We should take the fast one." suggests Nobody.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

"I can also create some documentation for people if necessary while I'm working on my own."

I'll take a 10 for 20.

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

I love the term Ysoki Gangster.

"So you want us to win a gladiatorial fight, get hired by "Razor", and then go and collect from Envar by telling him that we want to see his mother's records?"

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

A rather serious looking young Human male also joins the meeting in progress. "My sister Gidget told me that you needed help with something, and she had to go. Something about being in a Limited TV series on Eox?"

Exo-Guardians

Male Human Operative 1

Since we can use our own first level characters, I will withdraw my request for the Solarian pregen and instead put forward Eni here.

Exo-Guardians

Signed up and whatnot.
