Nima drops to a knee as she feels a change too... It began as a quiet stirring beneath her skin—an ember-pulse beating in rhythm with her heart. At first it flickered only in dreams: endless dunes beneath a molten sky, a burning palace of brass, and a towering figure wreathed in living fire watching her with ancient, patient eyes.

The glow in her skin brightened from a soft radiance to a steady, unsettling shimmer. Heat curled off her in gentle waves, bending the air. Time seemed to loosen around the edges. When she closed her eyes, she no longer felt her body resting on the earth; instead, she felt the pull of another plane—the Sea of Fire, where flame is not merely an element but language, memory, and will.

She stepped inward, not outward.

The moment she surrendered, her spirit slipped free of flesh like a spark rising from a torch. She found herself standing before a colossal furnace-gate, its arch inscribed with runes that burned hotter the longer she gazed upon them. Behind it roared a kingdom entirely of flame.

From within, an Efreeti Emir emerged, his form shifting between man, inferno, and smoke. He spoke not in sound but in command—heat pressing into the very marrow of her soul.

“Serve flame, and flame will serve you.”

The blaze surged into her, rewriting the stillness inside her chest. Her mortal spark reshaped into a brazier of divine and elemental fire. Two powers braided themselves into her being:

The disciplined heat of devotion—a cleric’s sacred covenant with the primal aspect of fire, purifying, protecting, burning away falsehood.

The fierce inheritance of the efreet—volatile sorcery carried in blood and breath, the ability to call forth fire not as prayer but as birthright.

When she returned to her body, it did not feel like returning at all. It felt like ignition.

Her skin’s glow was no longer incidental—it was the visible shimmer of the planar fire moving beneath the surface. Her white hair smoldered with ember-tips and erupted in full flame when she cast. The weight of her powerful frame now concealed something greater: the pressure of elemental fire pushing to be free.

She had not learned flame.
She had become it.

Felhart is a +2 bane longbow crafted from the fiercely carved horns of at least two venerable stags and strung with a cord laced with silver. The designated foe that its bane effect functions against varies, being determined by the creature a wielder hates the most when the bow is first picked up (as decided upon by the GM). This bane effect remains the same for a wielder, regardless of how many times he’s used the bow.
