Okay, will do. I should have something up either tonight or tomorrow at the latest!

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I'm still here, but I'm at a crossroads. I enjoy the game, but I don't think my character meshes with it at all. I would like to change characters if you are willing to let me.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature ends up spending most of her nights walking, trying to find a bastion of nature in this concrete hellhole. There are green spaces, of course, but they are far to managed and civilized for her tastes.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Since I can only hit a single target, it's apparently smart lightning. Also, ally is a bit a of a stretch, isn't it? =P

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature will call down lightning on Monolith.

Spirit Roll to Attack: 1d10 ⇒ 101d6 ⇒ 6
Ace! on both: 1d10 ⇒ 71d6 ⇒ 1 I would hope that 17 would be a raise!

Damage: 3d10 + 1d6 ⇒ (6, 8, 5) + (6) = 25
Ace!: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Counts as a heavy weapon. That's 30 total.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"Last chance. Do as you are told, or face the consequences." said Nature to all the enemy combatants as the storm above continued to build ominously.

Will teleport up on top of a building again and make my proclamation. My action will be to focus completely on defense. Last round before I start wrecking things with lightning.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I tried to hit him with a tornado, but he made the Str check

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Interesting. I didn't know about the rule change. Since he's using Earthquake, I'll instead use the Twister power of Whirlwind to force him to make a str check at -2 or be thrown 1d10 ⇒ 9" and take 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6 Damage and be shaken automatically. If he hits a solid object in addition to the ground, he'll take an additional 1d6 ⇒ 6 Ace!: 1d6 ⇒ 1 damage.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Spirit | Wild Die: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

I will spend a benny to be unshaken.

clearing her head after failing to teleport, Nature looks around and sees the massive human that has burst through the building, juxtaposed nicely against the still building storm.

"Violence is the universal language. Let us converse together." bellows Nature from her rooftop perch. She then summons her powers and disappears from view.

I am going to use my Earthquake power to cause an earthshake underneath him. It's a large burst template that I will more or less center underneath him, or one of his feet if he's too big. He will need to make an Agility roll or be shaken. I will then teleport to a location I can see that would be hidden from his sight.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I love how Alpha posted twice. It's quite meta!

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Fair enough.

Smarts | Wild Die: 1d6 - 4 ⇒ (6) - 4 = 21d6 - 4 ⇒ (3) - 4 = -1
Ace: 1d6 ⇒ 1

So close!

Nature is in the middle of her speech when she is slammed violently to the ground by the Earthquake. "Enough of this nonsense." she says, her first matter-of-fact statement since being thrown in with the rest of the group. She stands and disappears, reappearing just inside the door that some of the group entered. She then began looking around for signs of the epicenter of the earthquake.

Notice | Wild Die: 1d4 ⇒ 31d6 ⇒ 1

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Stay Standing While I monologue | Wild Die: 1d4 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 21d6 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3

Nature is in the middle of her speech when she is slammed violently to the ground by the Earthquake. "Enough of this nonsense." she says, her first matter-of-fact statement since being thrown in with the rest of the group. She stands and disappears, reappearing in the epicenter of the miniature earthquake.

"Come with us willingly, or we will subdue you and bring your unconscious body with us. Choose now."

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Is the building I was standing on effected by the earthquake?

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature will continue to prostelyze to the monks about humanity being a scourge to Gaia as the storm builds around her.

Will hold my card to teleport away at the first sign of attack.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature is also pure human, existing long before Atlantis, although the Atlanteans might also worship some aspect of her has a goddess.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature begins calling down a storm.

1d6 ⇒ 4

Clouds begin gathering with unnatural speed above Nature.

"Run or die little vermin!" she screams over the winds.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I'm back now. I got kinda sick from my travels, but I'm somewhat better now.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I am posting this to all my games (apologies if you see this multiple times):

I am going to be out of town for an work conference that I was asked to go on last minute. I will be out of town through Friday (the 27th). There will be internet a the hotel, but the schedule will be really hectic and I won't have a lot of time to post.

Please bot me if I am in your game, and if you are in my game, please note that I will probably not be making an update until Saturday at the earliest.

Apologies and thank you for your patience.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature will begin laughing, then teleport atop one of the buildings and shout "Intruders? You who drill into her flesh, strip the air from her lungs and replace it with ash? You have the gall to call us intruders? I say that your entire species is the intruder, and that Gaia will certainly come for you all. Her children will creep in through your windows and rip your throat, because you have done the same to her. Your life's blood will renew her, so give freely of it now and pray that she absolves you of your sins. For I shall not."

And with that, the sky begins to darken ominously.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"I thought we were told to bring him with us. His opinion is irrelevant."

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I'm actually enjoying not having to be the face character for once.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

These guys are going to probably be kung fu super weapons.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature began teleporting up the hill, keeping pace with the group by waiting for them to catch up.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature watches the rest of the group eat, before spinning on her heels without comment and exiting the room.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I have the Very Old modifier to Ageless, which gives a bonus to common knowledge rolls.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Common Knowledge | Wild Die: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"Here, consider this a gift from Gaia. She wishes the foreign invaders to leave, as they are interfering with my work." says Nature as she makes multiple teleports into the lair, stockpiling a small stack of valuable materials like platinum wire.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

By making several teleportation trips between the location and the sewers, carrying as much as I can each time.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

But autoturrets can't feel empathy for human life.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Since Nature sees everyone else unleashing chaos, she adds her own brand to the mix:

I want to try something weird here, so bear with me:

Nature will use her earthquake power to make it look like someone with superstrength attacked one of the main buildings of the Slasher's rival gang. A crudely made sketch in their blood of the symbol of the Slashers is found on the sidewalk outside. The police later confirmed that the symbol is made of the blood of several of their victims.

Smarts roll to make it look like a different super power: 1d6 ⇒ 21d6 ⇒ 5

Next, Nature will find a technology company who exploits nature to get what they need: strip mining, blood diamonds, and so on. She will find one of their holding facilities, where she will make off with as much of their precious metals as she can carry, before an emp device destroyed a great deal of their electronic equipment. The precious metals will be supplied to the group for their use.

Nature will seek out her contact in her "church" who will make the arrangements to provide her with the device.

Finally, there will be a victim killed in a freak accident, a journalist by the name of Kathryn Holmes. This was the agreed payment for the device Nature had requested.

"What does the shape of one's head have to do with external belongings?"

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"One can not master himself when he submits to the external."

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

If it's not obvious by now, Nature is an immortal walking natural disaster. She has little interest in human posessions, and will only hesitantly even spend time in the base, so I'm really not the best person for it.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

If we want a generator, destroying a building is a fantastic way to get one.

"Your plan lacks fear." says Nature after listening to the "sneak through the sewers" idea.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"Man's greatest hubris is the idea of safety."

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature will go to the roof of the building they are hiding in and summon a storm. Once it arrives, she will return to the ground floor and say "Let us proceed."

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature is trying to be patient, but as an ancient being who is a bringer of destruction...well..

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature continues to hum while ...skipping? really? towards the club.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"They weak bow to the strong, or they cease to matter." says Nature.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

This is gonna be one of those scenes with Nature bringing back a bunch of different things like Groot, isn't it?

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Nature follows the rest of the group, humming to herself.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I like the idea of there being a cult of Nature. There is one guy, by the name of Jacob Patterson, who will be the point of contact for the group. He's a lackey, but a brave one (most of them were took afraid to approach her directly).

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

I had a thought about this last night. What if there is a cult that worships me? They could be either small or scattered (since they would be a cult), but then I could have a contact among human people that Nature wouldn't even know she had.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

Connections is interesting and I also like the idea a lot, but I am struggling for what Nature's contact (for lack of a better term) would be. She doesn't really...participate in humanity, except to try and wipe them all out. They're just getting a reprieve because of the alien invasion.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

"Nature provides, should you but ask." says the young girl before fading into nothing.

GM:

Nature is going to head to the first grocery store she can find, wait for it to close, then teleport in and out several times, taking as much fresh food as she can find, then return to the HQ.

Parry: 4 | Toughness: 8 | RATN 4 | Bennies: 1 | Charisma: 0

We can start by checking the nearby buildings.
