I've looked over the document, and I like, because I like vampires and anything that makes them more party friendly as it were is a good thing. I haven't seen anything that I really have a problem with, but I would like to know if the writers for this have looked at the vampire section of the Monster Codex and this ability found on page 241, that allows an undead to gain the benefits of rage.

Does the extra +1d6 come in at levels 8 and 16, or do you get the first +1d6 when you learn the stance and then get an additional +1d6 at levels 8 and 16? I was just wondering since it doesn't seem clear to me as do similar stances like Stance of Aggression and Scarlet Einhander. Its +1d6 total at level 1, +2d6 total at level 8 and +3d6 total at level 16. Same for the other similar stances I believe. I'll see about clearing up the wording. Thank you for the clarification. That's a nice thing to find out after an organic chemistry exam.

Is the Daevic supposed to have Bluff as a baseline class skill and as a bonus class skill from the Desire passion, or should they have a different baseline class skill in place of Bluff like Disguise?
ErrantX I have a question about the warlord. I know that the Unbreakable gambit doesn't stack with Force of Personality, but does this also apply to Rallying Presence?

Was it because of the ability to occasionally get a competence bonus on cha, dex, or str skills at odd numbered levels? The Daevic, amongst all the Akashic classes, has been a constant delicate balancing act. It's a powerful martial class with built-in skill boosters and the ability to drastically change its combat style overnight, and a nice selection of "caster-y" abilities to round it out and keep it relevant. Basically, as we get closer and closer to the final version of the class, it becomes more and more important that the classes define their own niche better while separating themselves from other class' territory. I think that between his veils, his class based skill boosts, and his high level of combat competence, 2+Int skills is probably appropriate for the Daevic. This will make him competent enough in skill land to be a regular contributor (still head and shoulders above the Fighter with some good options that can boost him past the Cavalier and Soulknife), while shifting away a bit from the "dress to impress" builds that made some previous Daevics skill masters in the city and combat kings on the road. Well that does make some since, even if I personally felt only classes focused almost exclusively on Int like wizards and witches should get the 2+Int skill points per level, and other classes should have 4+Int at the minimum. Thanks for the explanation it is appreciated.

Once I get a few things handled, I'll be working on getting PoW final released.
In the words of Ash, Groovy!
I here you on that. So much awesome coming out this month with the ACG, Path of War 1, and the Akashic Mysteries Subscription. Just lots of new sweet options, gotta love it.
Ssalarn wrote: Namaru wrote: Would it be possible to get an ETA on when the compiled version of Path of War 1 will be available? I know people who bought the subscription here on Paizo already have it. You can still purchase it under the "Path of War Work in Progress" .pdf
It has everything that's been put out, the only changes will be minor grammar and formatting edits that were being reviewed prior to going to print. I probably should have been more specific, but I was wondering when other sites such as DriveThruRPG would have it available since that was where I got my subscription.
Would it be possible to get an ETA on when the compiled version of Path of War 1 will be available?

Has anyone with the pdf looked at the chapter with the class creation guidelines in it, and if so what are they like?
I have finished looking over the Pharaoh and I think it's very cool, though I may refer to it personally as the Solar cause a lot of the class just screams Exalted to me, especially the capstone ability, that is totally an exalts anima banner going totemic. I do have a question regarding the use of the familiar in regaining maneuvers. Why can you only regain 3 instead of a number equal to your initiation modifier like other initiating classes do?
Also will the Empty Pyramid discipline be getting format like the other disciplines, as I am not certain which maneuvers are boosts, counters, or stances. Lastly will the Pharaoh's stance progression be changed to reflect what other initiating classes will get in the compiled release of Path of War 1?
After looking at the Slayer's Brand replacement judgement for the Kinslayer archetype in the Advanced Race Guide I was wondering if it is a standard action to use it, or can you use it more times if you have a high enough base attack bonus? I assume it most likely takes a standard action but as this is the first judgment that is an attack as opposed to a passive buff I simply wanted clarification.
What are some of the things dhampir got?
I have a question about the light sensitivity quality. If a creature with light sensitivity wears a wide brimmed hat or a pair of dark glasses could they avoid the dazzled condition if the keep those on in an area of bright light?
I would like to know if Inquisitors and Oracles can count as priests for a religion? I'm fairly sure I saw a named Inquisitor in Rule of Fear that was referred to as being a head priest of his church, but I was just wondering if you could give a solid answer.
Why is the spell Smite Abomination in Carrion Crown part 2 only a Cleric spell and not also an Inquisitor spell? It would seem to be very appropriate for the class to have access to it as well, or at least it would for Inquisitors of Pharasma.
nategar05 wrote: What's your domain/subdomain/inquisition/etc...? My domain is repose with the soul subdomain.
Actually an Inquisitor of Pharasma was the first thing I thought of when I saw the dhampir in the Bestiary 2. It just seemed to fit, especially with real world folklore of dhampirs being vampire hunters and all.
nategar05 wrote: Toughness sounds good. A Con penalty on a d8 character sounds rough.
I recommend Judgment Surge at 7th. It lets you treat your Judgment as three levels higher. That increases every single one of the categories by 1 and gives you your 10th level bonus effects at 7th level.
Yeah my character's 13 con is harsh but favored class bonus going to hit points every level should help some. It's one of the reasons I'm considering getting Martial Weapon Proficiency to give me a good slashing weapon as opposed to Toughness. Also I completely agree with you on getting Judgment Surge, it's a great feat even if the benefit is only once per day.
Is the feat you're thinking of intimidating prowess?
Steelfiredragon wrote: straight up inquisitor or archtype inquisitor?? Straight Inquisitor, none of the archetypes really seem like anything I want to take with the character.
I am making a dhampir Inquisitor of Pharasma for a Carrion Crown campaign and am unsure what to take as my starting feat. Should I take Toughness to help with the lower hit points that I get because of the racial constitution penalty, or should I take Martial Weapon Proficiency to get access to a good slashing weapon?
I have a question in regards to the Oracle revelations Ancestral Weapon, Iron Weapon, and Wooden Weapon from Ultimate Magic. These three revelations all serve the same purpose, they let you conjure a weapon you can use for 1 minute per Oracle level in 1 minute increments. However Iron Weapon and Wooden Weapon can be used 3 + Charisma modifier times a day, while Ancestral Weapon can only be used a number of minutes each day equal to your Oracle level. Is this accurate or should Ancestral Weapon be usable 3 + Charisma modifier times per day as well?
My question pertaining to the Rage Prophet is if it should have a full base attack bonus instead of a 3/4th base attack bonus? After comparing the Rage Prophet to the Holy Vindicator it looks like it should have a full base attack bonus since both prestige classes seem to be focused on the same basic concept of being a divine warrior. So if I could get a clarification on this it would be most helpful.
I was just looking at the spellblade class and noticed several things that seem wrong with it and was wondering if they were mistakes? Why is it that the spellblade has acrobatics on his class skill list but not fly? Since they can learn the fly spell I would assume they should have the skill for it instead of acrobatics. Also seeing as the spellblade is a hybrid class like the bard, paladin, and ranger shouldn't they have a second good save, specifically their will save. Since they are supposed to have honed both mind and body you would think they would have a good fortitude and will save.
