Thanks for the game every one, it was fun.
Concerning the antics of Serpent Shogun, Naalij might have complained a bit about it, but as it provides in game bonuses, that meant they were not so bad advises after all.
I guess the phoenix was trying to repel anything looking like an invader to the plane, Pathfinder Society included.

The combination of SR+fire immunity is hard on Naalij. I had to deal with the second in the past, that’s why he has that rod, but the SR… not much to do. I see a couple of spells, feats or items that could be of help.

Naalij tries to damage the phoenix once more, casting burning arc and using the last remain of magic in his rod.

Naalij takes a step back 5 foot step, then concentrate to throw another acid fireball.

We had a d20 reroll from prep, so I’m going to use it on the SR check, and reroll damage because I’m not supposed to know how it went.

There’s plenty of phoenixes around, even if we do not think ours is going to pop up again, another could come instead.

I missed that we could only do one of those, so repair with the one we got from defeating the first phoenix, and, on the damaged one, Naalij puts uses one use of an ability that does fire damage, so he uses one of 11 uses per day of Elemental Ray.

Most of Naalij’s spell are fire based. As a sorcerer he has plenty of spell to spare, especially 3rd levels. Let me use one of his spell slot for a fireball, he still have plenty, seven in fact.

Naalij put magic fire into the plume. He then tries to give Undy a hand with the repair ritual. Knowledge (Arcana), good hope: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 2 = 13

Naalij then casts protection from elements, selecting electricity, then fire shield, selecting to be protected from cold for 11 rounds.

Naalij didn’t use his rod on his fire snake, it makes it a full-round action to cast, and it is a lesser rod so maximum 3rd level while fire snake is level 5. Also Naalij caster level on fire snake is 13th (which explains the 13d6), not 10 so does 20 makes it past the creature SR? I guess fire damage will do nothing anyway.
Wall of Fire is 20 high.

I assume fire will not have been effective.

Naalij concentrates and using the magic of the rod in his hand, cast a green fireball, which explodes into the air with an acrid scent.

Use blood intensity to up the max number of dice of the spell by Cha mod, up to caster level, so on fireball, that’s just an extra dice.
Use one of the charge of the lesser rod to change fire damage to acid.
Spell Resistance: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Acid Ball, Reflex DC 22 for half: 11d6 + 11 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 6, 5) + 11 = 41

As the creature is obviously on fire, Naalij asked “Does fire even affect that creature?”

I think no one will be able to answer Naalij.

Naalij grabs his lesser rod of acid elemental spell, then testing his theory that the thing is immune to fire, casts fire snake. The snake moves toward the creature avoiding any of the ifreet’s companions.

Fire Snake, Reflex DC 24 for half: 13d6 + 14 ⇒ (6, 6, 3, 1, 5, 4, 1, 2, 6, 3, 1, 3, 4) + 14 = 59

The 4 points from the wall of fire probably reduces the communal protection from energy first; I do not know how that spell interacts with innate energy resistance.
Also, as said when we presented our characters, Naalij can see through fire and smoke, due to the Firesight feat, and is able to see through the wall of fire.

Naalij already has a necklace with talisman and a ring of protection +2 so Serpent Shogun can grab that.

After grabbing the enemies stuff, mainly two healing potions the wand if no one is interested, Naalij drinks a potion of cure serious wound that was given to him prior to the mission. 3d8 + 5 ⇒ (7, 5, 3) + 5 = 20 Feeling better but not quite, Naalij drinks another potion 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

When the enemy shows up, Naalij tries to recognize the creature.

Which knowledge would that be?

Do we have 2 rounds including grabbing their stuff? Just searching them would take more than that, then identification would take even more.
I just want to know if we have time to use cure light wounds wands, or need to use more powerful healing magic to get better faster.

It is not an action, and it heals all PCs for 5d6, and if it is boosted it adds 2d6.

“I’ll get both!” shouts Naalij as he’s incanting a bigger fireball that usual and throwing it in the sky between his two enemies. All enemies are only in my fireball range lately

As the fight starts and Serpent Shogun boosts everyone, Naalij moves fast to get cover and casts a Fireball from here, catching the two giants and whatever is in front of them.

The pillar might be a problem to target the two giants, otherwise he tries to get the blue and the red one at the bottom.

No opinion on this one but as Sleight of Hand is a trained skill, Naalij can only try Acrobatics. I’m not sure we have someone with sleight of hand, so:

Does it takes an hour to travel between any locations? I’m just trying to keep up with spell duration.

Naalij moves far from the Cursed King getting out of his 30 feet fear/curse, then cast Scorching Ray, hoping he will manage to hit.

I don’t see a way that everyone moves out of the thing’s range, so Naalij is trying to kill it.

Naalij will cast a Fireball on top of the mohrgs. “Burn and be undone!”
The ifrit will also point out “They use cover, there must be an intelligent creature commanding them!”

Naalij aim the spell on top of the blue mohrg, to catch them without cover. With the difference in elevation, and his position, I believe it should work.

When the undead points to Roland specifically, Naalij seems a bit surprised and looks at him.

He quickly spring to action and throws a fireball at his enemies and adding a little more to it to make it more fiery, making sure the undead thing is included in it.

I guess the captives squares are full of people, so Naalij will avoid hitting those ; he will include as many enemies as he can in it, but I guess only two of them can be included.

The first thing that is noticeable in Naalij is his hair, it looks like they are on fire. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain. Combined with his bronze skin, he’s clearly not human. He has a nice backpack and a couple items, and wears his shirt open. His clothing are mostly Kelish, as his accent, but there're bits from other part of Golarion too.

With a smile, he presents himself “Happy to meet everyone, I am Naalij. I’m a sorcerer, specialized in fire magic. When not going in missions, I forge weapons for the society.”
“I have a Wand of Cure Light Wounds that I can lend to someone who can use it more reliably than I.” Pointing to his wrist, he adds “I’ve got one for emergencies in one of my spring-loaded wrist sheaths.”

Looking at the sushis, Naalij mentions “Well… I usually prefer my food cooked, but I’ll give it a try.”

I’m only going to try for the tasks we didn’t have complete success yet. I can’t beat the DC 33 for Supply Check either (we already have the DC 27 covered).

Day Job: Naalij is a weaponsmith, and uses Crafter’s Fortune when doing his trade, and has a shop in absalom. Dayjob: 1d20 + 12 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 5 + 1 = 22
Random information Naalij has the Firesight feat, allowing him to view threw fire and smoke without penalty (he has Pyrotechnics and Wall of Fire on his spell list). I just realized Ash Cloud is not smoke and the feat wouldn’t help. Naalij casts Mage Armor and Cushining Bands when he wakes up, and 10 hours after that.
