Just trying to understand how exactly to determine the dc for items. What exactly is spell level? Is that related to the spell that is required in the item to make it? Use a belt of dex +2/4/6 as example and others if you want. Also under ioun stones it says you need to be level 12 to make, is that correct? Also the phylactery requires 10th level cleric to make that seems silly because i would have it much sooner than that.
I am mostly new to PF only been playing for two months and I want to make a monk for a new campaign. I want him to use flurry of blows and grappling I am just not sure what weapon to use with it. Also any suggestions on good feats/traits for levels 1-10 would be great. My goal is to be a tanky dps but I am not sure how good monks are at that because I have yet to play with one. I love the saves but the ac is low, do monks make up for this with rings/necks/wrist/headband because they don't have to buy armor?? Sooo tired time to sleep ill reply after sleep. :) thanks
I really want boon companion but I am not sure if its worth it. I feel like the pet will be horrible without it and decent with it, but then i have to delay my other feats. I also have a feeling that at high level it might not make as much of a difference. I am level 4 and I would get it at level 5. Any words of wisdom :)?
I am trying to find feats for a +3 int companion. This is the list of possibilities i have found but i am sure there are other things i don't know about because i haven't played for long and have yet to be melee. Combat Reflex
My goal is to have a mix of damage and tank. Thanks in advance :)
I have seen it common that people enchant their bows with weapon +5 speed and holy. Why not corrosive and frost instead of holy?? I am new to dnd so i figure there must be a good reason why. My thought is that frost and corrosive will always be active, but would it commonly be negated by resistance?
I am just trying to figure out how to determine my AC, I feel like the app i have might be doing it wrong. To keep it simple lets just use Leather and chainmail. My current AC without armor is 14 and my dex is 18(+4). Leather has armor +2 and max dex bonus +6.
Chainmail has armor +6 dex 2, I get confused here because it gives me 18 with this equiped.
Instead of getting a flat +1 will save trait, would it not be better to get more wisdom using the adopted trait?? I assume that i can use the Vanars +2 dex +2 wisdom -2 char instead? That would put me at only 5 charisma but that is not that bad is it? Only been playing for a few weeks btw :) Thanks for all the help and speedy replies in advance!
I am very new to the game and just want to craft a masterwork composite longbow. It says in the rule book "that this feature allows you to add your strength bonus to damage, up to the maximum bonus indicated for the bow". How do you determine maximum bonus for this specific weapon?? I have strength 16(+3), so can i add +3 to the bow to give me +3 damage?? Assuming this is the case, would that make it cost 700g??? |
