I thought about changing Nyrissa for a dragon sorceress who, allied with Ilthuliak, used a powerful magic artifact that managed to erase Choral and all her progeny, hence her sudden disappearance. The problem with that plan was that the artifact had side effects, such as locking Nyrissa and Ilthuliak on their own plane, besides not killing Choral but only banishing him to another plane, and both have been trying to escape with more or less success.

Throughout the campaign they will already be on the verge of being able to force an entrance to their plane, apart from all this they with magic are already capable of influencing or appearing in the real world.

Nyrissa intends to use the artifact again, but this time she wants to use the new realm of the PCS as a source of power, causing a mass massacre in order to end Choral before he manages to escape.

Besides the use of the artifact had another effect, not only killed the progeny of Choral but dragons who lived in the Stolen Lands also, When this happened some of the most powerful dragons before dying sealed their souls in their most precious possessions, creating thus artifacts with the power of the dragon that resides inside. With the death of these dragons other serpents (descendants, enemies ...) flew to the Stolen Lands to claim the treasures and territories of these dead dragons. This gives me a great opportunity to present different dragons with motivations to: either join Ilthuliak in his plan to take down the great red dragon before it rises again; or with the PCS so that a Rift between the dragons does not occur again and, now, between the races of the Stolen Lands.

Choral as the campaign develops will try to appear in his human form (a young man with red hair and golden eyes) and help the PCS if he sees them in distress (although it appears as an astral form, really is still locked in his plane but 200 years trying to escape have given him this ability ... although he can not use his powers freely the sealed powers of the great red dragon are enough to lend a hand to the PCS in situations of necessity), he will try to force everything so that they finish with the artifact that has him prisoner. When the PCS finish with Ilthuliak and Nyrissa the previous spell of the artifact will be broken like the artifact and Choral will be released. When this happens he will harangue the dragons that are still faithful to him and will continue with his plans of conquest, taking his position as King of Brevoy immediately and placing his eye on the realm of the PCS, which he now considers his greatest threat.

As for Vordakay I have thought about changing it from a cyclops to a lich dragon, but this idea is still curdling and I have to think about it well although I am attracted by the idea of Vordakay trying to create an undead empire and raise the dead dragons as his subjects

This is what I have thought so far, but as I say I still have to develop the story much more. What do you think?

Hi guys

Soon I will start a kingmaker campaign and it's my second run. The first time the PCS died in RRR and this time I have made many changes in the campaign. Then an idea has come to my mind: Dragons!

Taking advantage of the whole history of Choral the Conqueror wanted to give a more draconic touch to the campaign. I've been thinking about reducing all of the fairies and adapting the story, especially the ending, so that it has more to do with the dragons than with Nyrissa, or that Nyrissa is not the final boss but a part of a larger conspiracy of Choral.

I'm going to put a lot of my own story especially from the 2nd book onwards, although in the first I'll start by getting several kobold tribes and replacing the mites with a new kobold tribe. And I also want to put dragons that, with their own allies, fight for control of the stolen land and Brevoy for hundreds of years.

That's why I ask for your help, I do not know if anyone has had this idea before, since I suppose I was not the first one to think of it. Any type of material that can help me with this: weapons with history that fit in this type of game; modules that can help me to give this type of setting; ideas of your own harvest that you wanted to share.

Any help will be very grateful and I will be putting you as my heroes advance in this game of Kingmaker.

Thank you very much

Hi guys

I'm going to start a kingmaker campaign and I would like to put weapons and magic objects with my own stories on the map. But the problem is that I do not want to unbalance the treasure of the characters giving weapons too powerful.

I would like you to give me ideas for the stories of the weapons and also for the balance of treasure. I had thought if they were over-equipped to increase a bit the difficulty of the matches but I do not know how good that is.

If anyone has had a similar idea in your campaign I would love to know what you did.

Hi guys

I am currently starting to DMing "Ironfang Invasion" and an idea has come up.

I have always loved magical weapons but I like it better when a weapon is evolving not because you simply spend money on it, I prefer that the weapon is unlocked or learning skills as the character improves.

This has led me to artifacts, unconventional magical weapons with extra powers than normal ones. Up here all right, now my question comes.

I want the characters to find the weapons of certain NPCs of the game's lore and those weapons will advance as the characters do and they will form a link with them. The question is that I do not know how to make that progression of the weapon. The ideas of what weapons are I have quite clear, are a Great axe and a Longbow. Then I am undecided if the cleric of Desna give him a weapon of this style or armor, since the player told me that he wants to focus more on the defense.

That is why I come to your aid. Any ideas for weapons or armor with special effects would be great, I had thought that the weapon began being a more important weapon for its history than for its abilities, and that little by little they were discovering the powers of the weapon as they advance in level . Any idea would be great for me.

Thank you very much to all.

First of all thank you very much to all of you for your answers.

I have decided to take your suggestions and that the characters of the players that have gone away serve as an example to the other PCs of what Adrastus does with the traitors to the cause.

As for the number of players I have 3 for now, and we will resume the game next week. I think that if they are careful they can pass the module of 3, although I worry a little about the cures. For now the group is a monk, a rogue and the 3rd player is thinking something between sorcerer and wizard. Do you think that with this group you can complete the module without problems?

Anyway I'm still looking for the 4th player, I hope to find it. Thank you very much for your help ^^

Hi guy, I have a problem with my current game. Two of my regular players have gone and I have another player.
The problems are the following:

1 How do I get the characters of the game without influencing excessively in the AP? The characters right now are in full investigation in Aldencross and I do not want to be detected just because two players are leaving.

2º Can you play the AP with 3 players or I should try to get a 4th player. I thought about giving them the half-infernal template if they are 3 but I do not know if there would be very strong characters.

Any suggestion is welcome. Thank you very much everyone ^^

One of my players is going to create a dhampiro wizard and his background is that some random noble vampire (he does not know anything about the vampires that appear in the module) left his mother pregnant and well, basically he had to live on his own and blah blah blah ...

My doubt is, given that his background is that he is a dhampiro and is looking for his father, his father could have found him without knowing it, recognized as his son and having bitten him to give him power ... and that he is now watching over him to see how vampirism develops.

At the level of rules with what he puts in the module, I know what I can do, but how would that affect the PJ? Would it give him too much power compared to the others? Will it become too strong too fast to control it?

My players have decided to go with UC Rogue, UC Monk, Cleric and a wizard.

Do you think that with this team they can do it well or will they have a problem with the lack of a tank? I've never played with a UC monk and I do not know how to play the role of frontlane.

First of all, thank you for your opinions.

I have spoken with my players and I have commented to them how I see the situation. The cleric has decided to become a cleric only without multiclassing. Even so they still have the problem of not having ranged or magical damage, since the cleric is not that he has the damage of a wizard.

I have also been watching the UC monk to know if it is okay to allow the player who wants to wear a normal monk. Do you think that the class is level or is it a bit OP?

For the rest I will wait to see how the game goes and how they develop their characters. The subject of healing is supplied with objects and with some other spell of the cleric.

Hi guys

I post this post because I'm going to start the "Way of the wicked" campaign and I wanted to ask what you think of my group of players, or if you have any advice for them.

First of all, I gave my group 25pts for the creation of the character and the feat weapon focus free.

His group is a human Ranger specializing in killing humans and goes with shield and sword but wants to go to TWF style with the shield, a human monk, a human cleric/wizard focused on the undead and who wants to do the prestigious class of Mystic Theurge and ,finally ,a rogue of indeterminate race between hafling and gnome who wants to make the prestige class Assassin.

My concern is that I think that in the first levels are not going to have almost magical damage and I do not see that they have ranged damage. Are they just my worries or should I tell them to think about the group well?

I appreciate your opinion.

My Stats are:

Str:16
Dex:10
Cons:12
Int:8
Sab:16
Char:14

Hello people. I wanted to ask your opinions about my character. I am currently playing Rise of the Runelords and the role I play is that of a nobleman who is a cleric of iomedae. We are currently at level two and my group has a rogue, a sorcerer and a paladin. And after presenting all this, I wanted to ask you how I should approach my character into the future. I have to say that so far I'm leaving with a bastard sword and a shield, in armor seen a quota of scales. I do both the role of healer and offtank. And my feats are hardness and selective channeling. My question is, what feats do you think would be best for my character?
