I have preordered the two unpcoming pathfinder novels in this order. (1364827) Can I cancel this order and get the subscription to the novels instead. This was not an option at the time and of course would be my preferred option. Thank you.

I don't think Gencon has a problem with beer but the convention center is a no beer zone. Plenty of very close watering holes but inside the center is a no no.

I personally would have blamed the nijas. :)

I actually had a group break up because of this.
It did put an extra burdin on the DM, he was changing things, the player would look for them, and then question things when they weren't there. Are you sure there isn't a secret door there?? What a knob!! Many of the players didn't even realize what was going on until the DM asked us what could be done about it.
All of us have about 20 years of gameing in. We were surprised to say the least that he was doing it. We thought we knew him well enough to talk to him about it. We were wrong. He was very offended when we talked about it and he left taking another person from the group.
I still think that talking to the person is the thing to do. Just know your audiance and be honest. If things go south from there you did what you could. The game is for eveyone not just that person.

If it's still around for Gen-Con '09 I'll take a look at it and pick it up then. I don't know what I'm going to do at Gen-Con '08. I'll have nothing to do with all the sure to be hyped launch games that will be going on.

No, A setting wouldn't do it for me. I don't think anything could.

I will continue to purchase Piazo product in what ever form. If I have to change it to suit my game I will. I will not play 4th edition for many reasons. I want to play a RPG. Wotc would have been better giving the public a month to be angry with them right before GenCon 08 then a whole year to really get upset. If 4th addtion doesn't put Wotc out of business after a year or two I might look into getting the books, but by that time 5th edition will be out and I'll just get those.

I have yet to recieved my first Pathfinder. Should I be concerned?

I'm checking on the arrival date of these preordered items. It mentions they should have gotten in last Wednesday. Do you have another date of arrival. I know that getting things shipped from someone else, so you can ship them can leave you holding the bag. I was just wondering if you had an updated date.
