Do not type it up on here. Type it elsewhere. You only have around 30 minutes to do things on here before the forum trolls realize what's going on and come out from under their bridge to eat your post. Just do edits elsewhere.

The biggest thing that you need to understand as a GM is action-reaction. Players need to see the results of their actions, even when it's effectively nothing. 'I jump up to look in the hole in the wall.' 'it appears to be a window, but it's too dark outside to see' is much better than 'you see nothing', and infinitely better than 'The group travels on.'

When/If I start to DM on here, I'm gonna go post by post figuring out what I need to reply to, and putting things in that order in a post. Missing out on actions players feel are important is a very big deal. Combat actions are -always- a big deal. A single combat will take between a day (with lucky rolls and active players) and until the end of the campaign (with inactive players and/or poor rolls). So every single chance you get to point out what happens in a combat will work for the better.

It's fine. I feel like Gray is pretty much in his prime around level 6, though I can't be sure. He fills out a lot more of his weaknesses as he levels. We'll see. :)

But you're also probably hitting for less than their DR with average damage. :( Guns just don't do that much unless you grab things from 3.5 books, or you heavily enchant them. Keep in mind, them having DR is just a guess.

I have a feeling we can't hurt them without critting, without being a heavy hitter, or using elemental damage. And as we're lacking in 2h power attackers, and blaster casters, coupled with the fact that most creatures have ac similar to their attack bonus... we're probably looking at at least 23 base ac. Probably closer to 25-28. So... hope for crits, or Damian/Bond to do decent damage.

What kind of knowledge check should we use on these?

Grey watches Nova nearly get bisected, but luckily the things don't have reach, despite their massive strengths, or she'd be dead... it was a good trick, one he knew as well. He moved to flank the one that Nova had just hit as it moved to attempt to flank her, charging if he had the space.

Attack: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 26Flanking, Charging.
Damage: 1d6 + 7 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 7 + 5 = 16 5 precision.

Bulettes, widely considered to be the tank killers of CR7, have a -7 to hit, comparatively, and hit for 5 less average damage if all three of their attacks hit on a full attack. I do not think these are CR7, unless they're the new tank killers of CR7.

Unless Nova gets lucky with a parry, you just killed her. They couldn't miss without a nat 1, and their minimum damagex3 puts her at 1 hp. Scath is literally the only one that could survive three attacks at average damage. Meh.

Felt like I should give adequate warning: I put a lot of effort into the creation of Gray, and a lot of things fell into place really well... but I'm very quickly losing my muse for him, and trying to roleplay him is becoming... boring. I'll keep trying, but if something doesn't change, I'll wind up withdrawing from this.

After a long, good night's rest, Gray rises, and stretches... taking a bit more time than is necessary to do so. The whole thing was very reminiscent of a cat. He patently ignored the brass surrounding himself... or bronze... or whatever one wanted to call it. It was no different from the day prior.

11str and tiny... probably not. It's carrying capacity is 1.5 for quadruped, then 1/4 for tiny, I -think-. Assuming it's 1/3 just to err on the side of the player, that's still half of the capacity of an 11str human. :(

That was so cool, too.

It's kinda silly that its strength 'bonus' basically just removes its penalties to hit and damage for 10 rounds. XD.

Awww... I just made myself sad. I looked up silvanshee, thinking their strength bonus was actually +20. Not even close, at a +8. Because I was like 'man, that's hilarious and cool, combining silvanshee's 1 minute super strength with augment summoning.' But... alas. Both are enhancement bonuses. So the silvanshee, for one minute, has a whopping 11 strength. :(

Still hilarious to have a tiny creature be so strong, but... definitely not the ~27 I was expecting when I thought about it. That would have been hilarious. 'the tiny cat bites you... roll fort v. massive damage.' :P

Gray was just moving away from the cliff at this point... which probably meant he was walking -into- the silence zone, completely unaware of what was going on.

As Damian took flight, Gray looked up watching him fly off with Roy, as he snapped his axe back into place on his hip. He would have commented, but Roy pretty much said the same thing Gray was thinking.

For the first time, Gray unsheathes one of his axes, unsnapping a buckle that previously held it in place as he does so. The axe immediately begins to glow with the same green glow one sees in a cat's eyes in near-darkness. He moves over to investigate.

He turned his attention back to Hecate. "Thanks for that, Miss..?" He asked as he dusted himself off.
