Morela beams at their hosts. ”That’s wonderful! I love when a mission lets us directly help people in need. It’s so rewarding!”

Advocates

Morela follows Zint, shouldering aside debris with her armor.

As her glowing mote cools down, Morela looks around for the fugitive.

Morela draws her starknife, which is now edged in white like the glowing mote, and strikes at the bear on the left.

Bordle doesn't want to kill these guys. No really, she doesn't. They're just doing their job, even though their employer turned out to be a ... complete douchebag.

So she moves behind a shrubbery and shoots Red with her Voltaic Anchor Pistol which does non-lethal damage.

Stand down, please she pleads.

Morela approaches the bodybears, her blue butterfly armor forming around her. The glowing light over her shoulder is edged in white.

”You should listen to her”, she adds.

Morela’s disappointment in Lita is palpable.

”Oh please!”, she cracks. ”Your accusation is as fake as your autograph!”

She holds up the picture that Chip (poorly) signed, giving him an apologetic look.

Bordle nods at him. While you're at it, you might want to install some hydraulics so Checker can pull off some fancy dance moves.

Speaking of dance moves. It was actually rather fun to get up on stage and strut my stuff. Maybe I should make some sort of performing outfit for that sort of thing and my vidgaming competitions. Any suggestions?

”Something with sequins”, Morela replies. ”That way, they’ll reflect your lights, and be extra-sparkly”

Advocates

Morela draws her starknife, and closes with the creature. ”Return to the skies, wanderer!”, she cries. The edge of the blue light becomes darker.

Move, Draw, Graviton Mode 2

Advocates

Morela watches the disaster unfold with Chip. ”If we don’t make it, report back”, she says. Jumping onstage, she rushes toward the electric snake. Her blue butterfly armor forms around her, and the blue light above her shoulder is edged in black.

Move, Form solar armor, Graviton Mode 1

Advocates

Morela tries to help Chip.

Medicine: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Advocates

Morela gasps, and beams at the offer. Glory to Desna! She activates her Solarian armor. Her body is coated by a thin blue force field. A glowing plane of blue light, shaped like butterfly wings, emanates from her back.

She scrambles up on the stage, and joins Bordle, doing flips and round-offs while surrounded by the dancing lights.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Advocates

”Oh no!”, Morela gasps.

On the comm, she adds, ”There’s something suspicious in the lighting rig above the stage. Shari needs help!”

Advocates

”We were told to look after the judges”, Morela says over the comm, ”so that’s what I’ll do”

She makes her way toward the judges’ area (though not onstage), and keeps an eye out for anything suspicious.

Morela and Shari hustle through the many shops in the shopping quarter of Absalom station. Tirelessly, they search through inventories and collections, until they finally manage to find the exact right shade of black that Lynthia is looking for.

Gratefully, Lynthia accept the cosmetic item, and in return she provides a student plasma ribbon. I would have worn this on stage, but I changed my mind. You guys can have it

”Thank you!”, says Morela. ”Very impressive!”

Advocates

Fort save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Morela keeps a relentless pace, as she makes her way from one boutique to another.

”Desna, light my way”, she intones.

Advocates

”A shopping trip? But with an element of danger, like a scavenger hunt! Oh, this should be fun!”, Morela beams. ”Would anyone like to join me?”

She starts heading out.

Advocates

Morela overhears the problem with Lynthia’s makeup.

”Oh, what a shame!”, she commiserates. ”Let’s see what we can do about that”

Culture: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Advocates

”A souvenir!”, Morela says with a smile. She carefully tucks it into her bag so it doesn’t get bent, and turns to Chip.

”Where to next, partner?”

Advocates

Morela appears dubious about the idea of forging someone’s signature on a mass scale, until she notes the star above the i. Surely a sign from Desna, she reasons. Besides, these aren’t legal documents

She looks over the signature, tries a few practice runs, then gets to work.

Culture: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Advocates

Morela knocks on Lita’s door, and waits patiently.

Advocates

”Wonderful job!”, Morela tells the others.

She looks from the bear to the chocolate fountain, and shrugs. ”I’ll have some later”, she declares, following Bordle.

Advocates

Yikes! I’ve got a dash of Culture, but that’s about it. Anyone else?

Advocates

Morela looks at Zint. ”I guess you were right”, she says. ”Care to help me carry?”

Morela’s brow furrows a bit. ”This is a security detail, but we need to keep the judges happy?”, she asks. ”Are we guarding the judges? Is this more of a hospitality function?”

She doesn’t follow the contemporary hits, preferring the New Age stylings of Corona Borealis and Runelight Serenade. She does, however, enjoy the electrofunk of Zapogee.

Morela is browsing at Infinity 21. She is a female Damaya Lashunta, wearing the blue and white raiment of a priestess of Desna. A tiny ball of blue light appears over her right shoulder, shedding a gentle glow.

She pauses for a moment near a rack of handbags, and listens to the song. ”A lovelorn android”, she muses. ”How sad”

Morela can’t help but giggle a bit at the “flower beds”.

She opens the windows, and peeks outside.

Advocates

The mote above Morela dims to its original brightness, as the forcefield fades away. She looks around the rest of the room.

”To the south, perhaps?’

Advocates

Morela enters the room, drawing the rat’s attention away from Jack. ”Keep away from it!”, she warns.

She swings at it with her starknife, as the blue mote brightens further.

The glowing blue mote above her shoulder brightens. Her body becomes coated by a thin blue force field. A glowing plane of blue light, shaped like butterfly wings, emanates from her back. She draws her starknife, and faces the creatures.

”In Desna’s name, stand down or be ended”, she declares.

Morela considers their host.

”Very impressive!”, says Morela. ”You really do have a green thumb. Unfortunately, while the plants are doing fine, the people who rely on the power station aren’t. Now, this sort of thing really isn’t my area, but I’m sure there’s some way to get the generator running, while the plants create additional energy. Wouldn’t that be best for everyone?”

”Yes, I see, but when did you notice the outages?”, Morela asks. ”Perhaps there’s some other event from around the same time, that might be a clue”

Advocates

Morela’s brow furrows with concern at the city’s predicament.

”This is awful!”, she says. ”Not just for tourists, but the people who live here”

She ponders quietly for a moment.

”When did this start happening?”, she asks.
