I sort of agree about meta thinking, but Rolwark's point is perfectly reasonable without meta thinking. Why "pay" for information we might get in this very room? "You are not in charge Master Diplomat, kindly do not think to overrule your companions on equal footing. No amount of eloquence makes gives you any more authority than the rest of us. May I suggest we search this room, then reaccess our position and take a vote." Morallo sniffs scowling.

What knowledge check would be required to know about Torch? "Please excuse us for a moment Zurnzal while we discuss the matter amongst ourselves," Morallo waits pointedly for the half orc to leave. If he does not Morallo sniffs in annoyance and beckons the others to come away from the half orc. "It does seem we are lacking information, both regarding the location, and in my case about the nature of this Master Torch. I am inclined to think we have little choice, given our lack of information, is there any reason to suppose this Torch might do something particularly ruinous? Or indeed that he could not simply do so without us if he can find it and we cannot?"

Does anyone have holy water, perhaps with a prayer to an appropriate deity, Pharasma? Or if anyone can cast a blessing to quiet these restless spirits?" If not I shall stand back over here with a summons at the ready in case any thing unpleasant pops out. Perhaps you would open it Master Rolvark? Ah my apologies should have made that clearer. Great on the eagle, can't imagine it will achieve much, but you never know :) Morallo frowns and chants a spell, flicking a small drop of melted butter towards the statue, "Uncto in eis!" A layer of viscous grease appears beneath the thing. Grease DC 17 Reflex:
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, M (butter) EFFECT Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
DESCRIPTION A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Acrobatics skill for details). Creatures that do not move on their turn do not need to make this check and are not considered flat-footed. The eagle flying above the grease asaults the statue, ignoring the fact that the stone figure is virtually impervious to its blows.[/spoiler] Some might hit if it falls prone, though probably not.

You can charge in a surprise round as a standard action if you only move your normal movement instead of twice it. The eagle was flying and had sufficient movement - I figure it will get bamphed pretty quickly and it missed anyway so it only really serves to lower its AC. PFSRD Charge Rules: If you are able to take only a standard action on your turn, you can still charge, but you are only allowed to move up to your speed (instead of up to double your speed) and you cannot draw a weapon unless you possess the Quick Draw feat. You can’t use this option unless you are restricted to taking only a standard action on your turn.

From the description it sounds like this was close to the skeleton. The eagle had 8 rounds remaining after last combat so I am assuming it had a round or 2. Ignore the eagle. "It is a Caryatid Column, a construct I believe, but it looks damaged. Nevertheless it will require powerful blows to damage it being stone and all," Morallo says, "I doubt it will be able to do much, but if attacks a summon rather than you martial types I call that a win. I suggest we all strike at the same time," He calls as he drops his shield and fires his crossbow before gesturing to the eagle and calling, "Attack!" Holding it awkwardly in one hand and his loaded crossbow in the other he moves back into line. "We may as well continue in this direction, onwards! If we are feast enough we might get some more use out if the eagle before it dissipates in just over half a minute." Just for the ruin, and he'll likely drop it after the first round of combat so not going to bother altering class line. AC now 14.

You have to be in melee range to do that though so for a wizard with a 10AC its actually a pretty terrible idea, for a what 60% change to add +2. Against none undead opponents using intimidate to demoralize might be a better bet.

Skeletons are immune to cold damage, normally. Morallo raises a hand and chants, "Si vocare aquilae!" In a shower of golden sparks a maginficent celestial eagle appears behind the skeleton flanking the undead with Cork and launching a furious assault as it smites the evil creature! The raptor seems to strike with uncanny accuracy, and Morallo smiles smugly as it tears into the skeletal foe, though there is more clanging of armor than splintering of bone. Then he backs off some thirty feet, not wanting to draw the dead things ire. Claw 1: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 = 19 Damage: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 1 = 6 Bludgeoning and slashing
