I'm truly sorry to do this, but I'm going to have to take a leave of absence from the paizo forums for a while.

This year hasn't been much fun for any of us, I'm sure. And just last week, two people at my job have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
I'm not feeling ill myself, but I am having serious trouble finding the headspace to game. 'Stuff' just keeps piling up, even if it doesn't affect me directly - yet.

I'm not sure when I'll be back. Of course I hope it'll be sooner, rather than later. Please bot my character as appropriate.
Again, I'm sorry to do this; you guys are a great group to game with.

"Do we know we got all of their slaves out?" Molly asks, arms crossed and a pensive frown on her face. "And didn't they have ogres and trolls? Those might be stupid and aggressive, but they're strong and they can be bullied into doing an honest day's job."

"Let's not swap the names of our birth towns just yet," Molly says in a dry tone. All right, tell me what you want to do.

I want to bribe some of those high-soaring birds to tell us what the giants' movements in the area are - with food, of course.

The birds are supposed to be here, so they shouldn't be suspicious. Also, they won't actually be under a spell; they'll be doing their thing, just so long as we pay them. They'll be ideal for getting us a good idea where the enemy is, so we can ambush and hamstring them!

My condolences as well, Pyrrhus.

I'd really like to get some birds spying for us.
DM Bigrin, any chance at all that we might spot some birds?

"No fear. Next time, I attack from cover," Molly replies in a dark tone. "One time drowning on my own blood was enough."

Did Molly get her clothes altered?

"I did die of a huge chest wound. Well, more of a huge everywhere wound. It's not much fun," Molly notes. She starts to walk and frowns at her slow pace. "Ugh. No offense, Sander, but how do you keep up so well with legs this short...?"

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

"How the actual flying flipping f~!~ do I honor someone whose name and and life I do not know?" Molly asks, her eyes wild, shocked and distraught. "Why would she go and do a thing like that for someone she didn't even know? What the hell, man? This is serious. This is a f~!!ing life debt, the bad kind. Anyone get her name? The name of her tribe? Her family? Ye GODS, guys! I'm a Kellid, this is serious stuff in my tribe!"

"Someone brought me back as a Gnome?" Molly asks Chwaer. "Why didn't they just bring me back as..."

Knowledge (arcana) 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37

Molly's voice goes flat. "Someone cast Reincarnate on me, didn't they. Sivanah's fourth veil! I've been reincarnated as... Ugh."

The Witch crosses her arms and shakes her head -- then uncrosses them before her trousers can head south again. "Alright. I'll deal. I can deal with this. Just tell me one of these people knows how to alter clothes. And where's the Druid who turned me into a... who brought me back, anyway? Should at least shake 'em by the hand or summat."

You notice the green-haired Witch is still glowering when she says this.
She snaps at Storn when he starts to laugh: "I weren't headed there, were I?! I'm not after brawlin' fer eternity with a load of men with bone fer brains, lettin' their muscles think fer 'em an' reeking of sweaty pork an' rust! You quit laughing at me, 'fore I test out how hard I can still kick and hit!"

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

The Gnome staggers to her feet, swaying in place for a moment, and looks down on herself again.

She barely manages to grab her belt before her trousers start to sag.
"Well," she says, still in that curiously flat tone of voice, "that's going to get annoying fast."

She looks up - and her jewel eyes widen as she discovers she is looking Sander directly in the eye. She utters a curse in Gnomish - then looks nonplussed.
"What in the name of Sivana's fourth veil did I just say? What happened? One moment I'm full of arrows, feeling my lungs fill with blood, the next I'm digging myself out of compost and down a bunch of sizes! Did you kill those Giants? Did we get the slaves out? Do I need to start kicking people up the backs -- ankle to get some answers around here?!"

"That's what I'd like to kno- Wait. Why's my voice all squeaky?-"

The Gnome looks down at herself, then notices a lock of her hair and grabs it, holding it up for scrutiny.

"You lot don't just look tall because I'm lying down, do you," she says, her voice toneless and her eyebrows lowering in a threatening manner. "What happened."

Snake style; AC vs leader = 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (17) + 17 = 34.
Empowered lightning bolt vs giant leader. Reflex save DC 18 to halve 9d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 1, 5, 2, 1, 2, 2) = 22 plus half again = 33 electricity damage.

Reposting; sorry

Surprise round
Molly draws power from a memory; the dreadful memory of ever-frozen Irrisen. The memory, she turns into words, and words become power. Underneath a Giant marching along, the earth remembers an age of cold unending... and great spears of ice lance upwards!

In round 1, Molly casts Ice spears at the lower left Giant. Two spears stab up into her. Spear #1: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 6) = 7 piercing, 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 cold damage; Spear #2: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5 piercing, 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 cold damage. Reflex save DC 18 for half damage. If Reflex save fails, the spears make a trip attempt: Combat Maneuver 1d20 + 8 + 5 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 5 + 10 = 37 to knock the Giant prone.

Round 1

Molly activates her Flight Hex and moves to a point where she can draw a bead on multiple Giants.

Move to AH 7. Snake style activated; AC vs. nearest Giant = 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (3) + 17 = 20

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

Before combat begins, Molly activates her Flight Hex. When the bombs go off, the Witch breaks cover and flies into position, chanting as she goes. When she stops - she hurls a bolt of lightning that lashes the two leftmost Giants!

Giantish:
"Good day and goodBYE, you too-tall cretins!"

Snake style activate! AC vs. closest giant becomes 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (14) + 17 = 31. Molly flies to AH 7 and casts Empowered lightning bolt on the two leftmost giants. Reflex save DC 18 to halve 9d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 5, 1, 5, 2, 4, 4) = 26 + half again = 39 electricity damage.

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

Please place me at AH 13. Flight Hex and Snake style active.

"It's a straight line," Molly replies, shrugging. "I can aim over the slaves' heads, and with my Flight Hex I can make double sure they're not in the strike zone. That said, nothing's stopping a giant that spots me from picking someone up as a living shield. So I'd need invisibility... again."

The Witch gives Sander a crooked smile. "Sorry to keep putting you on the spot, my friend. If I could cast that spell myself, I would. But I'm no Deception Witch."

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

"My strongest spell is still Lightning bolt," Molly notes. "That works best if they're lined up. Also, we need to keep in mind that as soon as something goes wrong, the giants blow their horns and then the whole camp comes charging out."

The Witch scratches herself behind an ear, thoughtful. "I hate to say it, but I think we need to do more harm to the camp before we free the slaves. MUCH more harm. We need to weaken them so they won't react as quickly as they like... or desensitize them."

Slowly, a nasty grin spreads across Molly's face. "Anyone here know how to cast ghost sound? If the sound of a horn blown keeps sounding from one of those towers when there's nothing wrong, well... I reckon that'll be a good start to begin breaking their security."

"I know they got at least one svathurim, teaching them how ta ride mammoths," Molly replies, shrugging. "I know there's a one-eyed mammoth by name of Willie. Honestly, if I'd been after doin' some espionage, I'da needed more time invisible. I got in, made a big mess, and I got out. And I can do it again; there's loads of stuff I can set on fire in there."

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

"It'll work as long as mammoths fear fire and I can get close enough," Molly replies, shrugging.

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

How many do we need?

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

No fool, her, Molly gets going as soon as the mammoths run from her fire. She flies back to her original vantage point, then cautiously makes her way back to camp -- making sure no one and nothing is following her.

"Heya, lads. What'd you get up to?"

Female Gnome Witch 9/Brawler 1: Init +1; Perception +4; AC 12 (+1 Dex., +1 natural); hp 69; Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +6

"Alright, boys. Can't say I didn't try," Molly sighs -- and she chants a spell.

Flame, crimson and baleful, blossoms out of nowhere and lances into the dry hay...!

One casting of Burning hands onto the hay, and Molly makes for height. Please don't anybody tell Greenpeace or the Society for the Preservation of Prehistoric Animals that I did this...

Molly looks at the mammoths to make sure -- do they all have only one eye?

If so, she uses Feral Speech Hex again. But this time, she mimics the voice of a creature even mammoths must fear: the Smilodon!

"They're going to eat the calves first. While their mothers are watching," Molly tries. "Come on, lads; you're big and strong! Why not break out? There's wide open plains full of grass out there. And no fat Giants to sit on top of you."

Molly moved up the mountain, sticking to the crags when she could. When she got within a few hundred feet of the plateau, she realized that she wasn't going to be getting any closer without being spotted by the giants on the watchtowers. From her spot in a seam in the cliffside, Molly could see that the giants were fairly alert. They may be isolated in the hinterlands, but whoever was running this place had a pretty decent eye for security.

@Molly - how do you plan to infiltrate the camp and get to the mammoths?

First off, from her place of hiding, Molly casts Detect magic and scans the scene below her. If she does not spot anyone with magical auras among the guards, she drinks the extract of Invisibility she got from Sander and activates her Flight Hex.

Invisible, inaudible, and doing her damndest not to hit anything, the Witch flies into camp. At the first sign that she's been spotted, she activates Snake Style and makes ready to beat a swift retreat.
