As for that RL kiss, you'll have to get your arse up here to SC for that, mister! Thanks Tamlara!!! So ... are you saying that if I come to SC you will actually give me a kiss? WOOHOOO!!!!! You saw it folks! She said it! :) Yes! But only on the cheek, you know my husband! The jealous type, lol! ;)

Stormstrider wrote: @ Zero, I'm not familiar with the Silken Ceremonial Armor & couldn't seem to find any actual info on-line. Could you please send me a link to it's info? Thanks! And are you sure your AC, FF AC, & touch AC are all correct? Maybe it's because I don't have info on the silken armor, but it loos off to me, depending on that silken armor I guess.
Of course if anybody else has the info & cares to send it to me, Great! (Kissing up to the DM never hurts! - And come to think of it, it never hurts for (ACTUAL RL) female players to kiss the DM either! Tamlara? ;) )

Tamlara the twice deadly sniper of the Echo Wood... That's right, buddy! The picture on my M-W character sheet is pretty much it. She's tall, well-muscled, super-pale, with fiery red hair and the bluest eyes you've ever seen!

Hopefully Aldhranald and MistressRandom won't steal each other's spotlight as far as rogue skills go. I did take trapfinder as a trait so Aldhranhald can find and disable traps, even the magical variety. Since he's more a knowledge seeker, I'll try to remember to let your character be the trapper, and only have Aldhranhald step in if an Aid Another seems warranted. :)
I know this is coming back to you a bit late, but I have taken the rogue archetype Sniper that lets me hit, and sneak attack, from farther away, so I will not be trapfinding. Yay, no overlap!

Stormstrider! I forgot to tell you Happy Birthday yesterday! So sorry. I hope it was a good one. Big hug from me, and Chris says Hi! I also have a game question, ha! I used the background generator, but some of the fields are not pertinent to my character as she is a dhampir. Is that okay? I also didn't think at the time that you might want to do the rolls on here (and it was still a lot of rolling, even with some stuff not being pertinent). Also, Chris helped me come up with a small table to roll up how my mother "knew" my father, if she knew him at all. Yet another question:if I don't care for the traits that my background generation brought up, can I still choose others, especially if I can tie them in? If any of this needs to change, let me know. Hugs again, just for good measure! Love you Stormy!
Oh, I have also put in a bunch more on my character sheet!

I hope this doesn't set things back too much. Also, did anyone take the mercantile trait in the campaign specific traits list? No problem! no delay!
As far as I know no one took that trait.
EDIT: Did you mean the "Merchant Connections" trait I guess? That is what I meant, yes, thank you. Planning on taking that one myself.

Stormstrider wrote: Allow me to remind Everybody that your party has to obtain a "License to Adventure" before you go adventuring! So if you all decide to just head out as two separate parties and conveniently join up on the road, that is fine, but each of those groups will have to come up with the money for the License.
Suggestion, if I am not mistaken Boudacia & Ozzy (along with Alex the ignored one) had talked about trying to find a fighter/turtle-shell type right? If after they have been at the Juliver Arms a bit (and remember that Juliver arms is an inn, NOT a tavern!), if they find none there, then perhaps they should consider checking at one of the taverns to see about trying to find one or more of this type?
If I recall correctly I read 4 people saying to delay in town until Mistress Random/Tamlara could be ready, so we will do that! Thank you all for the patience with her! (And she still has 'learning-how-to-do-a-tag-line' coming up! I know that's generally a headache for first timers!)
Also, in case you haven't noticed I did put an 'easy to spot' link (you have a + 10 circumstance bonus to your perception checks on a DC 0!) to the battle-grid at the top of the screen, so you don't have to look for a post from the 'All Seeing Eye' to get the link. The map in & of itself is ready, but I'm still doing some work on spell templates. I'm also planning to add a 'box of minis' Like Mended did. Hopefully I'll have that all done within the next couple of days here. My mind is nagging me that there was something else to say to the whole group, but I can't think of it right now! So, later!

Ozara "Ozzy" wrote: MistressRandom, I don't know what you have in mind for your character's background, but a last-minute addition to the party will probably be easier if she's a local. Also, you don't necessarily need a completed character sheet to begin roleplaying your character. You might even think of some things you want to change in the process. Agreed, on both counts. I do plan on jumping into the roleplaying as soon as I can, but I feel like I need some idea of backstory & such first. That's what I'm working on now.

For those that don't know, What You See Is What You Get, is the acronym up there. It's a tool to type something as you would in any simple web-based word processing tool, BUT, it actually puts the code in for you. For example if you want bold letters, you just click the B button and it intputs the code for you! Might make it easier for some.
When you've got everything looking the way you want it, you just click the icon all the way over on the right that says: "view source" and then it will change over to the correct BBC code. :) All you need to do then, is copy paste it into the right place over here at the Paizo forums.
Give it a shot if you want.
It's over here. Might make learning about the codes for newcomers a lot easier. The only problem is that their quote feature is
broken, everything else seems to work just fine.
That sounds like it might be much easier than all the brackets, but then again, I might just need to get it together & learn to use the system I'm on. Hmmm. . . Instant gratification or learn to do it the "right" way? We'll see which one works out better for me.

Thanks for the consideration, everyone! I will be working on things, it'll just take a little longer with house guests and a birthday party this weekend.

Okay, Character Sheet is now public, such as it is, very minimal still.

Btw, anyone know where I can get more information on the world we're in? I know nothing of it.

That should be a link to my character sheet, so far. For Stormy, I used the first array, I believe, and the scores before racial adjustment are in the temporary score section so you can see how they were adjusted. I will actually be going with rogue, just because I am more familiar with it, and this PBP will be enough "new" for me right now.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! I am leaning away from monk, per the whole lawful issue (I really prefer to play non-lawful characters anyway) and have looked into slayer & brawler. I believe I will be going with brawler, but I need my good friend Stormy to okay my race. I really would like to play a dhamphir, though it would complicate Alex's healing a bit! Let me know what you think.

Hello, all! I am Mistress Random, and I hope you don't mind if I join you for a bit of adventure and mayhem. I don't know what class/race I will be playing yet, recommendations will be gladly accepted! Here goes for the stats:
Stat Array One
Stat 1: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 4) + 6 = 16
Stat 2: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
Stat 3: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 14
Stat 4: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1) + 6 = 10
Stat 5: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13
Stat 6: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 = 12
Stat Array Two
Stat 1: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 4) + 6 = 15
Stat 2: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
Stat 3: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 4) + 6 = 11
Stat 4: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 1) + 6 = 12
Stat 5: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5) + 6 = 16
Stat 6: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 1) + 6 = 8
Stat Array Three
Stat 1: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5) + 6 = 16
Stat 2: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11
Stat 3: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 10
Stat 4: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6) + 6 = 18
Stat 5: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13
Stat 6: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 11
Wow, those are not bad! I will reserve final judgement until after race & class selection, however.
