Just bot me until the map changes or something. I don't have time for this. Send me a PM or whatever when you need/want my input.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

What part of "I'm busier than usual" can you not comprehend? I realize it's a good assumption, but I'm getting miffed that you always assume that I've dropped. I haven't, and don't plan to. My days are just filled with work, research, and shopping right now.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

I'm still in this game, so don't fret. It's just been a mix of myself being rather busy lately, and having a very loose grasp on the structure of the battlefield. I don't really know where everything is, and the Roll20 map isn't really helping me that much. I also don't really know whether or not Mimazaran would suggest, begrudgingly so, to go into the sewer.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Upon hearing those voices down that hole, a sense of dread washed over Mimazaran. "I think we need to either get this over with quickly, or start running now," he hissed to Garidan. "They're below us, are apparently freeing more of those skeleton dogs, and there's mention of a digger. I don't think I want to find out what that is."

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Mostly asking to keep myself from having a reduction in my stealth bonus for moving full-speed, but if it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.

As Garidan moved the table, Mimazaran tried to keep himself out of sight of the bandits that just fired at Tanrov, making his way over to where Garidan was so he could see what the table was hiding, if anything.

Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (8) + 13 = 21

Once there, he peered at the spot the table had covered, trying to find anything out of the ordinary, if it wasn't already obvious.

Sorry, been working a lot more for the holiday season. Unable to get on Roll20 to see the map, so I don't really know where Mimazaran is in relation to everything. I'm not sure if he's inside or outside the building.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

"There had better not be reinforcements behind us," Mimazaran hissed before making his way into the building. He readied his crossbow as he did, still not sure of himself when it came to actually firing the damn thing. Not wanting to be the first one caught, he found himself the most shadowed corner to keep himself out of sight.

There's no real actions I can think of taking that would waste a resource that, as far as I know, isn't necessary at the moment.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

There was obviously not much for the young Wayang to do in the fight, and it seemed that the rest of his companions had the fight well under control, so he stayed where he was, trying to keep himself out of sight. "If the rest of the bandits don't know we're here now, they're all deaf," he muttered to himself, shaking his head. "We'd best have a retreat plan if we get overwhelmed."

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

I will post tomorrow, as I don't have time today, so don't jump too far ahead of me in combat.

So I guess Martino just isn't with us anymore, if no one's heard from him. That's pretty unfortunate.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Alright, posted, and moved the token on Roll20. Don't know if the perception check would be different for Mimazaran, so I may have accidentally jumped the gun on that.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Mimazaran merely waved a hand at the compliment, seemingly thinking it was just a rational line of thinking, though if his grey cheeks could blush, there would be just the barest hint of red to his cheeks. He certainly seemed disappointed in the news that the tunnels had been collapsed, and shook his head. "Most bandits aren't that smart," he sighed. "This may make the mission a problem, should they be able to think that far ahead. I suppose that there's no real weak angle to infiltrate them, either. It depends on their numbers, but it would probably be too dangerous to try and scout out for that." One more sigh, and he muttered, "Guess we just have to wing it."

Now back to where everyone else was...

Sneaking his way up to the building with the rest of the party, Mimazaran attempted his best to listen in on the surroundings.

"Wait!" he hissed to his companions. "There's some movement inside. Keep your noise to a minimum, or else we'll alert the guards!"

I've just been working more hours this week so far. I can probably have a response out either later tonight or in the morning.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Retcon in the hideout, before actually heading to the bandit camp

"Yes, I have one supply that I need, and that is further knowledge," Mimazaran said to Garidan's question. "There must be a better way to get in there other than simply walking on the surface. Perhaps there's a sewer route that connects to the district? It would certainly be much less blatant than walking out in the open, where there's certainly going to be a guard. Bandits tend to be stupid, so it's highly unlikely they'd post a guard in the sewers, and if they did, it would at most just be a duo, which I'm sure we could easily dispatch without alarm." When he got to the last sentence, though, it certainly sounded like the Wayang was against his own suggestion, but made it purely out of necessity.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

I actually was doing something that kept me away for a while, and I forgot to mention it. Reading through the game, I think there's something Mimazaran would do before heading out towards the camp. Is it too late to retcon?

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Mimazaran had no comments about the group's name, nor did he really have a comment about the proceedings that took place in the manor. He was actually a little too afraid to even speak up, knowing how many criminals had to be in that place; despite him being rather good with words and negotiating, he knew that it would take just one wrong step to get the group more enemies than they needed.

When they got back to the hideout, however, and Penumbra was there and explained to them about the Bastards of Erebus, he had some comments. "Why would we want to get there first?" he then asked. "To get flanked on both sides by the Bastards and the Rack? I can guarantee you that the Rack won't see us as allies when they show up to the battlefield. If you want to call us to the battlefield again, you'd better have a good plan that keeps the Rack away from us." From the tone in his raspy voice, it was obvious Mimazaran was both frightened and frustrated with all the combat.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Unable to recall anything that would make access easier, Mimazaran let out a breath and slowly walked up to the two men, making sure to let his body language speak for him that he posed no threat. Clearing his throat, he attempted the best he could to make himself seem like he wasn't about to heave up his own stomach. "We're here for the bounty of one goblin warlord," he told the men in his raspy voice. He then pointed to Garidan, trying to tell him to lift the bag up for proof.

Probably not needed, but if you need a diplomacy check, I'll roll one.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

There was certainly some hesitation from Mimazaran when the suggestion of him leading the way was brought up, but he swallowed his fear for that moment; it was just just walking the streets, anyway, which was something he did all the time. He of course made sure to keep an eye out for the dottari along the way, not wanting to risk any identification, though he was sure that his Wayang self wouldn't be suspected by himself.

Upon reaching the manor and seeing the two battle-ready men, the young Wayang froze for a second.

Remembering a few things about the place, Mimazaran stopped just before opening the door, and instead made his way over to wherever a safe place would be to store his coinpurse. "On second thought," he then started to say, "it's probably best to leave our gold here. The Dusk Market won't be the only criminals there, and I'd rather we not lose more coin than we make."

As the subject with the Bastards of Erebus was brought up, Mimazaran let out an audible sigh from the corner he was sulking in. The young Wayang just shook hs head before slowly making his way out into the open, just looking at the floor with his dark, beady eyes. "Let's just get rid of the head already..." he said quietly, heading towards the door.

Going to guess the medicine is working alright, as I didn't fall asleep at the keyboard before finishing the post. It's a little too early to say for sure whether or not I'll be back in the swing of things right now, though.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

As the group made it back to the hideout, it was obvious Mimazaran was a little troubled. He had a mixture of disappointment and resentment upon his grey face, his beady eyes squinted as he looked at the floor. A sigh left his long nose before he walked into the main area, shaking his head. "Too scared to fight," he muttered to himself in his raspy voice. "Fighting's all we do...can't even fire my damn bow."

He was pulled out of his thoughts when Garidan offered him the armor, and he obviously was hesitant for more than a few reasons before taking it. He cast prestidigitation on it to make it at least appear clean--as well as remove the smell of dead goblin--but instead just propped it up in the corner of the room. "I'll consider it," he told Garidan, "but I think I'd rather not wear something that had a dead goblin in it unless I really must. Bad for business to smell even worse than a live goblin."

When dawn broke and Yako arrived, Mimazaran just sort of clung to the shadows of the shrine, not really wanting to be seen. A part of him was afraid they'd be asked to start fighting something else, and he still didn't want to be anywhere near a skirmish, even if he somehow felt a little better and stronger than the previous day.

I'm still around, just usually too exhausted to do anything. I'm getting a new medication tomorrow that's supposed to at least help me feel a little more awake, so here's hoping that works. I'm caught up in the game, just haven't had the energy/attention span to post. I doubt I'll even really update the character sheet tonight.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Feeling a little better, but still not great. It's tied to the whole exhaustion thing I had previously, apparently. I've gotten myself caught up, though, and I find Mimazaran's actions acceptable enough that I won't ask for them to be changed. It's probably all the stuff I would've had him do, anyway.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

I've not been well, and don't want to hold up combat, so you may bot Mimazaran. Use his bow or his summon performance as needed.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Unsure of whether or not the goblin was actually felled, Mimazaran crept his way over to where it was, keeping an eye out for other goblins that might have been nearby while also trying to make sure that it didn't get up. If he saw it was still breathing, he would look over to the others to see what they wanted to do, not sure if he had it in him to finish the job if he had to.

Moved Mimazaran to where I think he should be on Roll20.

Trying to keep himself hidden as he crept up with the rest of the group, Mimazaran had his crossbow at the ready, his eyes peeled for anything suspicious. He took note of Rurik pointing something out, and looked over in that direction, hands shaking as he prepared to fire if he had to; he was certain that he would misfire, though, having never actually used the thing.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

To be honest, I'm not really sure what we should be doing. I was kinda waiting for someone else to post so I could figure out just what the plan is. Probably due to my fatigue, but I'm having a little trouble figuring out just what the turn of events were.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Being a little rash and hasty, Mimazaran quickly sneaked his way into the tavern, not sure just what the exchange was about, but he was certain it would be bad news for them. He did his best to find the party mixed in with the rowdy crowd, and when he did spot them, he hissed in a whisper, "We need to clear out of here. A man seemed to just tip the Rack off to something in here, and I don't want it to be us."

Mimazaran thought twice about entering the tavern as he went with the party, and decided to just stay outside the door, keeping to himself.

I feel so icky posting so little like this, but it's really all that I can muster the energy for right now.

I apologize if my posting is rather slow for a while. I've just been so exhausted lately and can barely keep up with most of my hobbies. When I'm not working, I'm usually sleeping nowadays, and I probably am going to see a doctor about it sooner or later. Just a heads up. I'll still try to post, but again, I apologize if I can't keep up.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Turning in early the previous night seemed to be a good idea, as Mimazaran woke up just in time to make it to the meeting on time, though he still seemed a little out of it; he had done a lot more activity the prior three days than he had in quite a while. He certainly hadn't turned up as much information as the others seemed to, but he could at least confirm about the Bastards of Erebus, able to relate that they seemed to be more prevalent in the northern regos of the city.

"It's not really much news to hear the dottari and Hellknights aren't getting along," the young Wayang responded to Martino. "It's been common knowledge for a while. As far as going after goblins, I suppose I can be on board with that, but it's best not to underestimate them; sometimes the smaller they are, the more dangerous they can be." That comment in no part was in reference to his own stature; he knew for a fact he was no threat to anyone. "If we can find a way to take out the underlings--as no doubt any goblin calling himself a king would have some sort of grunt force--before confronting the so-called king, it would probably keep our chances of success high."

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Other than hunting bandits and the aforementioned goblin king that I think was in the sewer, I don't think I'm aware of any side-plots that were mentioned, other than maybe Mimazaran's admirer.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

Is there anyone we're waiting on to proceed? I just want to make sure it's not me, 'cause I sometimes feel like it's me and I don't realize it.

I'm definitely going to leave the capital management to someone else who better understands it; a lot of that is waaay over my head, and no, that's not a size joke. I'll just stick to slowly building up some coin during downtime stuff, gathering information, and perhaps other things as they become relevant.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

I've been looking around off and on since the subject was brought up, but I can't seem to find it or otherwise understand it: what exactly is Influence Capital and how valuable is it to us? Would it also mess with the coin totals at all? Not like it was a lot of money, but still worth noting.

I honestly was going to just stick to the rolls and not put any fluff in my post, but the way they came out just were too perfect not to. Sure, the third day's rolls sucked, but it made too much sense after having spent max hours on both info gathering and performing.

Gather Information about Local Troubles: Day 1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Spending little time on the subject, Mimazaran was just looking to get a general consensus of what was troubling some of the citizens of Westcrown, knowing that the shadow beasts would probably be a popular subject still.

Job attempt: Day 1: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 3

The Wayang's attention that day, however, was certainly on performing for a good audience, telling the story through just his puppets and quiet music provided by Ghost Sound. He wove the tale of past battles passed down from generation to generation, able to shape his shadow puppets in grand detail of various warring factions, bloody battles, and heated political debate. He was certain that he would earn enough coin for a few things that day.

Gather Information about Issues Hellknights Won't Address: Day 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 4

After having had a rather successful night on the job, Mimazaran was a little more enthusiastic about gathering some information to spend more time on it, this time trying to track down more specific problems that the Hellknights weren't addressing. He again suspected people would talk of the shadow beasts, but he knew that at least one other person would probably talk about something a little easier to follow up on.

Job attempt: Day 2: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 4

A little tired from his information gathering, Mimazaran couldn't put on quite the spectacular performance he had the previous day, but he still managed to pull off the grandeur. He instead that night wove the tale of tragedy, partly pulling from his own life experience, of a child who cruelly had his parents taken away from him by an angry mob for a deed they didn't commit, and how that child grew up to resent the life he lived, and started to do great deeds and take great risks to change it around. In a misstep of judgement, however, he slew what was obviously an important figure of the society he was attempting to change, and they turned on him right as they were about to accept him, calling for his execution as they had called for his parents. The long story came to a tragic close, and the Wayang puppeteer had to hide his own tears when it was over.

Gather Information about Various Bounties or Rumors of Bounties: Day 3: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Mimazaran was more worn out than he thought he'd be after his full day of work, and could barely put himself into it as he tried to find out where a good source of income for the whole group. He couldn't get himself anywhere substantial on that front.

Job attempt: Day 3: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
Hours: 1d4 ⇒ 1

Still rather tired when he tried to get one last job before the meetup on the next day, the young Wayang just put on a short show for anyone that cared to watch him, spinning only a lighthearted tale of the misadventures of a young, innocent maiden coming of age. It was certainly not meant to be viewed by any children, but it wasn't outright pornographic by any means. Just a few misunderstandings and some mild laughs that lasted only an hour. Too tired for much else, the Wayang took whatever gold he got and went home to retire early, wanting to be rested for the meeting at the old shrine.

Male Wayang Bard (Shadow Puppeteer) 1 AC: 17/Touch: 12/Flat: 15/Darkvision 60ft./Init: +2/Perception: +1/Sense Motive: -1/Fort: +0/Reflex: +5/Will: +2

"I still have some money saved up," Mimazaran offered when Garidan asked about supplies, "and I do have a job, or at least am trained for putting on shows. I can get income whenever I'm hired for it, and it's not mere scraps, usually. Not as much as if I were human, but it serves me enough, and I can spare some for this if I get a couple of gigs over the break."

With that suggestion, the Wayang left for his own home, resting for the night so he could be ready to gather information about thugs and/or bandits to collect bounties on and perform if he had the chance to.

How exactly do you want me to roll to see if Mimazaran can get himself a gig or two for some chance at income? Roll Diplomacy at the same time as he gathers information, or just roll a Perform check and see where that gets him?

Low chance perception attempt: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Mimazaran had no idea that Arael and Penumbra were even whispering to each other at all, much less what they were discussing. His head was too much in the shadows to pay attention, it would appear. The name for their little group really didn't matter to him, despite him knowing that a good name tends to bring more towards something; that was one of the lessons Victor taught him about getting gigs.

Arael spoke up after the whispering, and Mimazaran just nodded, not fully paying attention and missing a couple of parts. He just mostly heard about doing research would be fruitless, and to meet back at the shrine in three days. "I suppose I could work a job or two in three days' time," he mused to himself. "I could also try to gather any information I could about the more troublesome bandits or thugs around the city, then we can figure out which ones to go after by then. Of course, if any information of the shadow beasts turn up, I'll be sure to relay that, as well."

Mimazaran had to wave his hands at Tanrov's suggestion, showing his disapproval of the idea as he ignored the talk about naming the group. "I think we should attempt some research into the shadow beasts before we try to take one down," he suggested. "We have have taken out some Hellknights, but we at least knew they were human. We don't know what these beasts are, much less how strong they are. If you must fight something, perhaps taking your aggression out on bandits would be a wiser course of action. Much more known variables there, and it's not like taking out the lawless is as much a crime as taking out Hellknights."

Given the time it took to get back to town, Mimazaran's disguise was probably up by the time they got to the gate. He watched as everything seemed busy, and he had to assume that they already knew about the prison raid, but then again, with Arael with them and undisguised, perhaps something else was going on. He certainly wasn't about to ask a Dottari about it, though. Instead, he just tried to keep his head down and look as innocent and unaware as possible.

When they were back at the hideout and Rizzardo congratulated them and "admired" Tanrov's bloody kills, the Wayang shuddered. "That 'handiwork' is probably going to cause us some trouble down the road," he nearly hissed. "If they find out it was us, being put to the sword for that crime would be merciful." He took a long sigh after that, then turned to someone other than Rizzardo, then asked, "Any idea what the commotion at the gate is all about?"

With still just under a full hour of his magical disguise remaining, Mimazaran decided to keep the illusion up as he slowly made his way out of the brush, keeping his eye out for anything approaching the best he could, though he was still distracted by the whole situation. He walked over to the caravan, seeing that Arael was freed and Mathalen was with them, he spoke up as he drew nearer. "We should clear out of here before the Hellknights wonder why their prisoner transfer is running late," he suggested. "We can talk business later."

Mimazaran was still in the brush, though he didn't look like his normal Wayang self. Where he was standing was the form of a gnome, instead. "Don't worry, it's me," he said in his usual raspy voice as Garidan approached. "Just making sure that they don't know who I am the best that I can. Should we move out?" Despite his biggest urges, he kept it to himself how absolutely mortified he was that two of the Hellknights were dead, and not just out cold.

Not seeing much else he could do after his shadow puppet vanished from a well-aimed bolt, Mimazaran decided to just stay in the brush, hidden from whatever other dangers could find him. He assumed that the rest of the party could handle the three remaining armigers; it seemed like they Hellknights were losing confidence in themselves, anyway.

Got called in for a double, was waiting for intimidate results. Eagle would just continue attacking.

With Shanwen knocked out, the shadowy eagle changed its attention to the nearest armiger, clawing and pecking at it the best it could.

1 talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
2 talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

1 talon damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
2 talon damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
bite damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Mimazaran himself just stayed in the brush, concentrating on keeping his hands in the proper positions to keep the form of the eagle.

It'd be a celestial. I forgot I get that option. Also, its AC is 14, since that matters. And since it's based off Shadow Conjuration, it only has 1 HP, since it's cut by 1/5.
