Male Human Rogue/1
Sorry for the delay in posting RL got in the way. Mat moves into a flanking postion trying to get Hecuva between either Danial or Janos and himself. Once he is in position he attacks with his rapier. Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Sneak attack damage if flanked

Mat grab his shortbow in his left hand and pulls his rapier from the dirt and attacks the Hecuva. He had stuck his rapier in the ground point first before his drew his bow. It was in an earlier post. Not sure it that will still count as drawing a weapon or not. Rapier Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

"Pray to whoever you have to Daniel to get us through this alive." Mat says with a wince as he adjusts his grip on his rapier. He looks around at his companions and says, "Well if I don't get a chance later just wanted to say I enjoyed everyones company and wish I had more time to get to know you all. Some more then others. He says in a grim voice as he smile at both Alkaid and Rhia. Mat moves to stand next to Janos in the open and pats him on the shoulder as he slips into a fighter's crouch. Mat uses a Readied Action to attack the first zombie that gets in striking range that Janos is not attacking.

As a wave of darkness begins to wash over him after the zombie club him with its fists; Mat hears a voice as if far away. He is quickly draw to the voice and realizes it is Daniel calling about his goddess to heal. Mat feels the healing power wash over him and the darkness recedes. With a quick nod of thanks to Daniel and his goddess Mat motions Daniel to lead the way as he tugs on Rhia's sleeve. "Come we must retreat to safety or all is lost.", Mat yells to Rhia and the others.

Mat is frozen in place by the sight of so many undead but the sound of Danial commands snap him out of it. He quickly moves in the position indicated by Danial and readys his rapier for the coming attack. Mat attacks any undead that get within range of his rapier or attack Rhia. Readied Action.

"Ok, its official. I really don't like this town. Professor dies from whispers..... a haunted prison is close by..... We break into a tomb with possible undead infestation..... and now a strange disembodied voice coming from everywhere.", muttering to himself Mat adjusts his rapier and makes sure it is loose in the sheath. He cast a wary eye about at his surroundings making sure there are no zombies sneaking up on the group. "Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to come into the graveyard at night. Who's idea was it anyway?", Mat says loud enough for the others to hear. Subconsciously he moves closer to Rhia placing himself between her and any potential zombies attacks. His knees slightly bent, posture relaxed but ready to react to any sign of danger.
Male Human Rogue/1
"What the hell was that?" Mat says looking around for the source of the voice. He turns back to the others and sees Janos and Daniel running towards the gates of the Restlands. He looks to Rhia and says, "Why are they running and should we be running too?" Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Male Human Rogue/1
I thought he was hiding something. With a chuckle Mat says, "At least you know who you father is; my mother was ..... lets say never lonely in the evening. As for your point ears and elven blood I don't care as long as you don't care that I'm a human.", he finishes with a broad grin. "Now back to important matters." Mat walks over and listens at one of the doors. "You never know there could some walking rotting corpse on the other side of this door." perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Male Human Rogue/1
Mat takes a close look at the lock looking for traps before he pulls out his picks to open the locks. He whispers over his shoulder, "My cousin once didn't check for a trap on a lock and ended up dead. His .....friend lost his key but anyway. Let's see what we have here." Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Male Human Rogue/1
Mat follows his companions into the cemetery, a chill runs up his spine as Rhia summons her spirit protectors. I wish should would at least warn us when she is going to summon dead warriors. He glances around nervously and mutters to himself, "Hopefully we are not making a mistake."
perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Sorry for the delay in posts it was a bad weekend. "Yes, lets of find this mage and in the morning we'll check out the prison. Not really excited to investigate a haunted prison but it's better then sitting in a stuffy library all day.", Mat says as he stands to follow the others. As the make their way to the door Mat motions for Janos and whispers to him, "Do you want to check out the false crypt tonight?"
Male Human Rogue/1
"I managed to find out a few things about the prison and its history.", says Mat as he enters the room the others are conducting their research. See DM Azure_Zero post above for information found. "It seems like the Warden and most of his guards are considered heroes here in Ravengro. They sacrificed themselves to kept the prisoners from escaping the prison during the fire. The town even erected a monument to the Warden and the guards who died in the fire.", he adds as he drops into a padded chair near Rhia. "So how's the research going good looking?", he says with a smile.
Male Human Rogue/1
"Speaking of consuming; all of this boring research has certainly made me want to consume some alcohol. You would've happen to have any holy wine around Father Grimbrow that needs to be drunk before it goes bad?", Mat says with a wide grin. He stands arching his back as he reaches high into the air with a groan.
Male Human Rogue/1
Mat makes one last attempt at trying to fix his unkempt hair before heading out the door after Rhia. He looks back to Janos and says with a smile, "Lunch is on me buddy, thanks for sharing your breakfast. We'll head over to the Inn or tavern whichever you prefer and have a few pints." Mat jogs to catch up to Daniel and Rhia, "So you guys think there is a chance were going to find what we are looking for at the church? By the way what exactly are we looking for at the church?", he asks his new friends.
Male Human Rogue/1
Mat rushes downstairs rubbing sleep from his eyes and trying in vane to flatten his unkempt hair. "Sorry guys and lady. I over slept." he says as he gives up on trying to fix his hair. He looks for any left over food on the table and snatches some toast from the plate before Janos with a smile. "I'll finish that for you. No point in wasting out host's food.", he says as while stuffing the toast into his mouth. "Did I hear someone say something about the church of Pharasma? I'll go if you don't mind.", he says as he reaches for Janos's tea with a raise eyebrow and a smile.
Male Human Rogue/1
Mat watches Rhia warily as she speaks, he shivers as the wind howls and swirls about her. When she finishes speaking he says with a nervous smile, "That was down right creepy there lass. Let's try to keep that to a minimum if you don't mind. I have a feeling this is going to be a bad month for Ravengro and I'm stuck here in the middle of whatever is going on here. "I'm not interested in looking through dusty tomes and books. So I guess I'll look around town or accompany whoever goes to the church.", Mat says as he stands up and paces about the room looking at some items it contains.
Male Human Rogue/1
Wait a minute, ghosts, haunted ruins...Are you guys seriously considering going to this Harrowstone place. I mean I miss the professor too and I want to get to the bottom of his death but ghosts, really. Mat says in an alarmed voice as he quickly stands a paces about nervously. Ghosts, haunted ruins Desna help me. After a few minutes of pacing Mat stops and turns to the group. "Well, I guess you can count me in but I want it on the record that I am not happy. I owe the professor to at least help bring his murderers to justice even if it means having to deal with the undead. Mat says in a grim voice and drops heavily back into the his chair.
Male Human Rogue/1
Matrim glances at the books the others are looking and looks around the room for a comfortable chair. He walks over and sits down, he nods in agreement with Daniel's observations. "I agree with Daniel. I know the professor was very meticulous with a great attention to detail, but something about this strikes me as odd. It's almost as if the professor feared something might happen to him. I know this is a hard subject right now Kendra, but know the circumstances of your father's death?" he says looking a bit uncomfortable bringing up the topic of the professor's death.
