Yes I know you don’t need character add-ons to play Ranzak... I said I don’t feel like playing with a goblin during this playthrough.

And don’t ever suggest Seltyiel for such a small group. He’s good at combat and that’s it.

I think people are only trying to be helpful here?

Yeah when I sent that I realized it sounded mean which wasn’t my intention at all.

I would think of it this way: where is your team relatively weak?

Ezren has high Int, Lini Wisdom, and Merisiel Dex. What you lack is someone good Strength, Charisma, and IIRC Constitution.

Either Seelah or Amiri could fill those gaps. Sajan, unfortunately, is a Dex guy, so is redundant qith Merisiel IMO. The two of them would have to compete for ranged weapons.

Runelords is forgiving enough that you needn't worry too much with any choice, though.

Hmmmm I think I’m going to have to go with Seelah then. Her strength isn’t a d12 like Amiri, but she does have a d8 in strength and constitution and a d10 in charisma. Amiri only has advantage in the strength department it seems. Her ability is a little more risky than Seelah’s too. Plus, I think it’d be nice to have another character that could heal if need be. Does that analysis sound right?

Hey everyone,

I finished RotR, and I am now on my way to start SnS. Again I don't know if I'll be running 3 or 4 characters. My team of three consists of: Oloch, Jirelle, and Damiel. Is this a good party of three or does something need to be changed? Is this party even balanced? Maybe I'm blinded because I am really happy that there is a half orc as they are my favorite race, and I also like the alchemist because of bombs and potions that make you grow a tentacle or something.

Anyway, if I decide to run a fourth member I have no idea who it should be. I thought Alahazra looked pretty nifty. Can't stand Lem so he is automatically out. I'm just not sure who would complement the other three. Especially if my group of three isn't balanced.

If you would be so kind for you share your 3 character or 4 character parties with me just so I know what to be looking for in order to make a balanced party. It honestly would mean a lot to a guy like me.

Thanks,
Grubbnar

P.S.
I got yelled at by someone on Reddit for making "too many posts", so I am just going to add this little bit here. Out of Sajan, Seelah, Amiri, and Valeros who is your favorite "fighter" and why?

For my final question: can I get the pro's and con's of a 3 character party vs. a 4 character party?
