"I like my coins painted black." Marinah notes, quietly as she peers over her sister's shoulder.

"Even floppy men can be useful if they are good with their mouth." Marinah says, nodding to herself.

"... they aren't going to wrestle covered in oil and blood?" Marinah asks with a pout.

Marinah watches as Ryn moves to confront the Lieutenant.

"They should wrestle together. Naked." she notes to the man she just healed. "I would adore seeing that."

"Yes, sister." Marina says as she sinks down and presses just the tip of a finger to the one gurgling blood. She whispers a few words to her goddess and the mana flows from the dark twin into the man spitting up blood.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Out of 1st level spells for the day.

Marina slips out of the coach and begins walking among the fallen criminals.

"Gentleman, you're in the presence of two beautiful ladies." As Marina passes her sister, she kisses her softly. "It won't do to lay around ignoring us. Very rude. One of you must want to rise and woe us?"

Cure Light Wounds on Sarinah: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Leave this to my sister and I." Marina says as she tucks her crossbow away. "We can get answers from anyone."

She's going to try.

"Naughty boy." Marinah breathes out as she squeezes the trigger. Unfortunately, her bolt shatters on the ground near Sarinah's feet.

"Sorry, sister!"

Ranged attack into melee: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Marina draws a small but beautifully carved crossbow from her side. She stays where she is, in the cart, and leans out the window as she cocks and loads a bolt.

"I do so love turning men into pincushions, sister."

"Normally, my sister and I would be happy to talk to them. I think they'll get the wrong idea if we do, though." Marina points out. She does, however, slip from Ryn's lap in case the large woman needs to enter combat.

"That's not my hand." Marina says languidly. She's glances outside the carriage. "They don't look pretty at all. Boring."

Agreed. We can move forward.

The sisters arrive, perhaps a bit fashionably late, but both dressed and bathed and smelling of rose water. Marinah kisses her sister on the cheek and then splits off to carefully portion out food onto a plate. She walks with a sway of her hips to Ryn and kneels down.

"May I feed you, my champion?"

Thank you for waiting for me. Sorry it took so long.

Marinah smiles, her eyes half closed as her sister braids and unbraids her dark, dyed hair.

"We're very good at contacting people." she notes.

Marinah kisses her sister on the cheek.

"A lesson you taught me well, sister."

Marina kisses her sister's cheek, then looks to the oracle.

"What is the woman's weakness?" Because it always pays to know what makes another weak.

Aww! You figured out my stuff! Romni are my babies and I wrote the Fortune-Teller class.

Hmm, for the Hellraiser, was it supposed to have the Reach quality?

Despite the sheer size of it, the hellraiser is not a polearm, so not supposed to have Reach.

Also, VERY interested in them there Barbarian and Bloodrager Archetypes and abilities.

I either wrote, modified, or edited all the archetypes, too. I'll give you one of each here.

Insane Assailant (Barbarian Archetype)
The darkness that spans the lands of Vathak touches everything with a hint of madness. Those already prone to bouts of instability find themselves even more susceptible to the unbalancing influences that permeate this cursed realm. A rare few madmen have learned to control this insanity and rather than fight it, using it as both a weapon and tool of self-preservation.

Rage of Madness (Ex): At 2nd level, whenever an insane assailant takes damage, she can choose to enter a reactive rage as a swift action. Rage of madness grants all the benefits gained from insane assailant’s normal rage ability but also inflicts the confused condition upon her. Rage of
madness persists until a round in which she has neither dealt nor received damage ends. The rounds of rage granted by this ability do
not count against the number of daily rounds of the insane assailant’s normal rage ability.

When a rage of madness ends the insane assailant becomes fatigued for a number of rounds equal to twice the number of rounds that the rage lasted. An insane assailant may not use the moment of clarity rage power
while in a rage of madness. Rage of madness cannot be activated at the same time as rage. This ability replaces fast movement.

Dulled Senses (Ex): Starting at 3rd level, while under the effects of confusion (regardless of the source), an insane assailant gains DR
1/–. This damage reduction increases by one point at every three 3 levels thereafter (6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level), to a maximum of DR 6/- at 18th level. Damage reduction gained from this ability stacks with the damage reduction granted by the barbarian class, but not with damage reduction from any other source. This ability replaces trap sense.

Vision of Madness (Ex): Beginning at 5th level, while under the effects of confusion, an insane assailant gains a +1d6 circumstance bonus to damage rolls. At 12th level, this damage bonus increases to +1d8. At
19th level, the bonus increases to +1d10. This ability replaces uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge.

Rage Powers
The following rage powers compliment the insane assailant: animal fury, increased damage reduction, no escape, powerful blow, and reckless abandon.

---

War (Bloodrager Bloodline)
As you lay dying on the battlefield, you could hear the explosions and screams of the war around you. Something inside you refused to give up that day. It was not valor or duty or even fear that kept you alive. No, it was anger. Now you have magic, powered by your memories of war and the rage those memories make you feel.

Bonus Feats: Diehard, Endurance, Great Fortitude, Intimidating Prowess, Iron Will, Mobility, Toughness.

Bonus Spells: line in the sand (7th), blood armor (10th), blood salvation (13th), phantasmal killer (16th).

Bloodline Powers: The anger inside you grants:

War Strike (Su): Starting at 1st level, when you confirm a critical hit, the target experiences a brief flash of your memories of the battlefield and is staggered for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your bloodrager level (minimum 1). During this time, the creature must succeed at a concentration check (DC = 15 + the spell’s level) in order to cast a spell.

Price of War (Su): At 4th level, you can channel your anger into attacks as a swift action, creating an explosion of energy that deals an additional 2d6 damage to your opponent and 1d6 points of damage to you as part of a single melee or unarmed attack against an adjacent opponent.

True Battlefield (Su): At 8th level, you can transform your surroundings into a true field of battle. As a standard action, you can cause the ground in a 5-foot radius burst centered on you to crumble and rupture,
becoming difficult terrain. As a move action during subsequent rounds, you can continue to concentrate on this area as though concentrating on a spell; doing so increases the radius of difficult terrain by 5 feet (to a maximum of a 30-foot radius). You immediately cease concentrating if you move from the square you started in when you activated this ability. Difficult terrain created by this ability remains for 24 hours
before returning to its original state. You and any designated allies can move through any difficult terrain you create using this ability
as if it were normal terrain.

Refuse to Die (Su): At 12th level, you are just as stubborn in your refusal to die as you were all those years ago on the battlefield. Once
per day, when an attack or spell that deals damage would result in your death, you can attempt a DC 20 Fortitude save. If you succeed you are instead reduced to 1 hit point; if you succeed and already have less
than 1 hit point, you instead take no damage.

War Gaze (Su): At 16th level, you can deliver your memories of war to your opponents with a look. You gain a gaze attack with a range of 30 feet. All foes who fail a Will save (DC equal to 10 + ½ your bloodrager level + your Charisma modifier) become shaken for 1d3 rounds.

War is Hell (Su): At 20th level, you become immune to critical hits and sneak attacks. In addition, whenever you confirm a critical hit against a creature, as a swift action you can curse the target of your attack, as the bestow curse spell, except the target doesn’t receive a Will saving throw to negate the effects and spell resistance does not apply
against this ability.

Thank you! Wanna guess which sections I wrote? :)

Hey all! Need a favor.

My publisher just released a pay what you want book called Shadows over Vathak: Explorer's Guide, which is a preview of Shadows over Vathak: Player's Guide (I call Shadows over Vathak a combination of colonialism, Lovecraft, Ravenloft, and WWI). Since its basically free, please go "buy" and download it, if you find a moment? We're trying to drive up the numbers and get it more notice.

The Explorer's Guide includes a full class, the Fortune-Teller, who focuses on divination magic and is pretty spiffy, if I do say so myself. Which should tell you I wrote it.

Thanks!

Marinah, however, has no words. She simply leans into her sister's embrace, shivering as she feels the ecstasy of the moment overwhelming her, running from brain to... other regions of her body.

Thank you. I apologize for vanishing. I hope the game goes well. I understand its moved past me at this point.

Hey all.

Life has been life. There was surgery for breast cancer in my family, followed by many medical appointments and radiation which is still ongoing.

The company I found a job with went out of business just a few months after hiring me.

So... yeah.

I'm sorry for my absence.

Mine, too! I've always wanted to run a game set in that world.

And we've all had odd ideas. I keep thinking I'd like to run a campaign based on the old Quest for Glory computer RPG series from Sierra.

What Sarinah said. While I adore our characters, I understand exactly how insane life can be.

Marinah draws a clove from one of her pouches and daintily pushes it between her teeth so she might chew it.

"Honestly, there are more enjoyable ways to alter one's consciousness." Marinah says as she sniffs at the air.

And this is why Ryn is so sexy. :)

There are no small parts. Just small actors. I honestly think PF players spend too much time seeking out ways to be special snowflakes. Sometimes getting back to basics is good.

I suggest a challenge.

Play a human fighter with no special background or unusual abilities what so ever.

The simple hero never gets enough play. :)

:)

Take all the time needed. I hope all the kids are okay.

Marinah follows along behind her sister, seemingly paying little attention to either her surroundings or the goings ons around her. Her expression seems far away and dreamy, as if she is lost in a daydream.

Marina leans her head against her sister's shoulder and smiles, her eyes dancing with mischief.

"I'm Marinah and this is Sarinah. How may we serve you today?"

"Where my sister goes, I go." Marinah confirms she will be participating as well. The garnet gets slipped into one of the pockets hidden in her skirt.

Marinah lurches from her sister and rushes the table, picking up one of the garnets.

"Oh, pretty pretty. You would look so lovely in my navel..."

Marinah places her hand to her heart as she listens to her sister. She turns to whisper in return, mthough her dark eyes settle upon the famous Pathfinder as she does so.

Sarinah:
"Only because you are here with me. I am nothing without the other half of our soul."

Marinah claps her hands together in glee as her sister rushes to the fight. Of course, she stays back and watches with bated breath.

When the battle ends she rushes around to kiss everyone on the cheek, including Koriah and the Venture-Captain.

"Huzzah the conquering warriors!"

Marinah pouts as she's dragged along.

"But there's monsters... and blood... you know how much I love blood..."

"Marinah. A servant of Callistra." the dark-haired twin ads before turning her face and pressing it against her sister's neck.

"I think the blue faced one wants our attention."

Please. Her favorite target is standing right next to her.

Boxes and puzzles and languages aren't among Marinah's strengths. Thus, she allows the others to fret and worry over the box while she, instead, watches each of them. Learning.

One can learn ever so much by simply watching others as they put their shoulder to a task.

"Such an amazing woman should be rewarded." Marinah says, glancing toward her sister. "I hope you come visit sometime soon, Mistress Azmeren."

Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

Marinah kissed her sister softly, in thanks for her belongings. Then she turned her attention to the two women who approached.

"We are always at the service of the Pathfinders." Marina says, offering a curtsey of her own.

"Often, I'm still abed at this time in the morning." Marinah notes as she holds open the door for her champion. Of course, like the others she is directed to where her sister has already claimed yet another conquest.

"We can do the ears, though that requires a bit of makeup and time." she notes, hearing the tail end of Andrezi's admission. Despite the differences in their style and hair color, she and Sarinah are obviously twins. Perfect mirror images of one another.

Marinah and Ryn. Sarinah is in the carriage.

Marinah dresses slowly, allowing the cloth to caress her skin. When it comes time to don her corset, she slides into it and turns her back towards Ryn.

"My Champion, would you lace my corset for me? Please don't be worried about drawing them too tight."

Marinah's eyes close as she enjoys having her short, black hair dried.

"If I received an envelope so did she. My sister will bring my gear. She's always been the responsible one."

She slides behind Ryn and brushes out the gladiator's hair, taking her time to remove every tangle and then to braid it as befits a warrior.

"We should go, I suppose."

But the twins aren't lonely...
