"That is so. Yet go here we must. If we have no burglars or seafaring folk to investigate the ship, we have little choice. We'll have to meet our enemies head-on with steel. Given our rather doughty companions, I don't think this is too desperate of a plan. If we do run into trouble, perhaps they will forget whatever sport or torment they are putting our comrades to. Maybe they will rush to meet our swords. I'd like that best.

On my turn: Makarn strides into the room alongside Shane, a longsword in one hand and a smoldering flame in the other.
"I have no time or patience to bandy words with these fools while our comrade suffers. Burn to cinders! " he says this last sentence in a gravelly, unnatural sounding voice. A jet of flames erupts forth from his outstretched hand in the direction of the tattooed man.
Cast Burning Hands at the fellow with the tattoes on his face. Hopefully catching the rat along with him.

I have a general question since I'm quite new to Pathfinder and RPs in general.
When it says a Magus, at level 1, gets 1x Level 1 spell per day + Int modifiers. Does that mean with an Int modifier of 4 I will get 5x Level 1 spells per day? Or am I reading that wrong?

Makarn strokes his beard in thought, begrudging his advice to the group at large. "Wide scale kidnapping typically suggests slavery. Targeting specific groups speaks to a well-defined application. Why want shipwrights and carpenters? Surely it is to make them build ships. Perhaps the boy wasn't of much use for their purposes. Who would dare to incur the wrath of The Pathfinder Society?
