Magilla bounds up the stairs, dropping the fish parts in front of him, and leaving the dark confines of the ship's interior in mutual fear of the shadow men's return. He finds Nim, and grasps at him, both to look over his pack mate for bleeding, as well as wiping his hands of the fishguts.

The big ape clutches at the unconscious half-orc for the second time in almost as many chambers.

Constitution Check v DC 10: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10

The half-orc seems to will himself from beyond consciousness to stop bleeding into the water with creatures very much like sharks...

Round 2

Magilla swims up to Nim, and tries to break the grapple keeping the half-orc down.

Strength Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23

Round 7, Init 22

The ape continues to watch the splashing and the slashing and the gnashing. He holds position, shaking Nim a little, and holding him up in the direction of the fight, as if it will motivate the half-orc to wake up and actually do something.

Magilla continues to tread water, his feet seeking footholds. He grunts further, clearly interested in moving towards the others, but understanding the conflict in the next chamber.

Magilla grunts at Gezza, as he wanders off. When starts to lose sight of the troop, the ape slowly drags Nim's drifting body through the water, loathe to leave the half-orc behind, but interested in keeping a line-of-sight to Gezza.

Magilla stays by Nim's side, occasionally slapping the side of the half-orc's face. He takes advantage of Nim's unconsciousness to get a closer look at his tusks, opening his mouth and tugging on his lips.

The ape, sensing Gezza's intent, pats the carpenter's head twice, lightly enough to avoid disturbing the man's ministrations to the unconscious half-orc. Magilla grunts, unsure what to do.

Much more comfortable not having to sit on a large, bound Rahadoumi, the gorilla stretches his legs like he hasn't in some time. He moves first to the areas that are currently unpopulated, taking to the upper decks. He looks over the side of the ship several times, before making his way cautiously from stern to bow. He seems to study the reactions of those he approaches and passes.

When he reaches the bow, he turns his attention upwards. Making for the main mast, Magilla starts to climb, then stops. Instead, he moves back to the side of the ship, and drops over with one of the ropes, splashing briefly into the waters below. He clambers back up, then drops down, several times over, before gaining the main deck again, wet, but markedly free of fecal matter clinging to his fur.

Only then does the ape take to the riggings, climbing upwards as fast as he moves across the deck. Take 10 Climb, 25, Climb Speed 30' As he gains height, he begins to grunt, louder and louder, until he reaches the crow's nest, where he hangs for a bit, and howls.

It takes several minutes for Nim to call him down.

The combined snap of the whip, and the hostile posturing of the Rahadoumi man is all it takes for the ape to make his decision. Pushing past the boulder of a man, Magilla targets Maheem. He pounds his chest in alpha posturing himself, then swings a meaty arm.

Claw Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 for 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 damage

Will Save v DC 15: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Magilla tries to skirt around Shivikah, forgetting that he's cuffed about the neck with catch poles. For a moment, it looks like the ape would rather take a swing at a poler, since the Mwangi woman hasn't annoyed him nearly as much. When she renews her attack, Magilla squares off, roaring angrily. A quick glance, and Magilla has his command. This will be a trading of blows, not a mauling.

Claw Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 for 1d3 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 damage

If Shivikah is a slow learner...:

If Shivikah is part Half-Orc...:

The gorilla bludgeons until either he or she backs off, or collapses...

The ape takes a bit of encouragement to get moving, not because of his inherent stubbornness, but because his legs are largely asleep from sitting on them funny. Taking to the steps, his legs start to come back to him, with the help of weight-bearing on his knuckles and forearms. The NotNice are dragging him out, but they are usually placated by simply moving with them. The catch poles reinforce their dominance, and he's not up for a fight.

Not until he gets slapped by the truncheon. His eyes roam the crowd, his decent color vision settling on the green ones. Among the green ones, he finds the NiceOne. The NiceOne's eyes are wide open, so not him. When the strikes come, Magilla looks at Nim for a sign. Then it comes. Palm open, fist slams into it. The universal sign of 'give 'em the whatfor'.

Magilla snorts, and turns back to the truncheon, the hand holding it, the arm waving it, and the woman owning it. The ape doesn't wait long. All three of his answers arrive almost at the same time.

By instinct, Magilla tries to pull away from the Mwangi woman, trying to avoid the strikes that always come after he lashes out.
